Abstract

Multimedia is one of the right tools to convey information in the form of audio and video. Multimedia is also capable of producing something that can be interesting. Faculty of Science and Technology, Islamic University of Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi doesn’t have a video profile for information purposes yet. Social media can be a tool for promoting a product/service/company to be better known by the wider community. The oldest promotional media is word of mouth. This media is indeed very effective, because the speed of delivery cannot be measured and estimated. Along with the development of the times, promotional media are also becoming more interesting and more innovative, including promotional media in the form of video profiles. Through this profile video, it is hoped that the public cand find general information about the Faculty of Science and Technology, Islamic University of Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi.

Abstract

Diabetes is a chronic disease with an increasing prevalence and a threat to global health. Many people are still not aware of the importance of maintaining health in order to prevent degenerative diseases in old age. Moreover, nowadays there are so many ready-to-eat foods that have the potential to cause many diseases, one of which is diabetes mellitus. The community service team provides counseling to increase understanding and insight into the importance of using herbal medicine in the context of preventing diabetes mellitus. The results of community service counseling attended by 30 participants can be concluded that with this counseling the community is very enthusiastic and welcomes this activity as seen from the questions raised. This activity provides insight for the people of Gumpang Village, especially the types of herbal plants that can lower blood glucose levels.

Abstract

The Wedding Organizer at the Soraya Wedding company explained that the problem that is often encountered in the implementation of weddings is the large costs that must be incurred to pay for goods to vendors or providers of goods. This situation results in Soraya Wedding having difficulty in finding customers to use its services, because the price set must be higher than the expenditure. The research was conducted by comparing several scenarios from existing data. Then the scenario that has been prepared is applied to AnyLogic software. The scenarios used are 3 (three), including the number of workers (decoration, catering, complementary equipment), the level of costs (worker salaries, transportation, vendor profits, Soraya Wedding profits), and down payments (vendors and Soraya Wedding). The results of simulations that have been carried out using the AnyLogic application are obtained for scenario 1, namely the price for customers of Rp.21,086,653 with preparation for implementation for 16 days. In scenario 2 it amounted to Rp.12,264,208 with preparation for implementation for 26 days. Furthermore, scenario 3 amounted to Rp.14,126,449 with preparation for implementation for 17 days. Based on the data processing that has been done, the way to make the costs incurred lower in the procurement of goods for the implementation of weddings using Soraya Wedding services is to cut the number of workers involved in the procurement of goods, if it is difficult to cut the number of workers, it can be done by reducing the salary level for workers in order to minimize the costs incurred, as well as efficiency and effectiveness in the use of transportation in order to reduce the level of transportation costs to minimize costs incurred.

Abstract

This article is gonna delve on how much social comparison can affect body esteem on adolescent women that is actively using Instagram. The samples consist of 145 women aged between 18-25 years old in Jabodetabek area who are currently an active Instagram users. The research will be done using the quantitative approach that will study social comparison as the independent variable, using the Upward and Downward Physical Appearance Comparison Questionnaire and body esteem as the dependent variable, using the Body Esteem Scale – Revised. This study is gonna examine the effect of social comparison on adolescent woman’s body esteem and how differing types of social comparison (upward & downward) can affect different aspect of body esteem (sexual attractiveness, weight concern & physical condition) on a subject that actively uses Instagram. This study found that social comparison negatively contributes 32.5% upon woman’s body esteem, thus confirm the hypotheses that social comparison have a significant effect on adolescent women’s body esteem. But on the other side, found that downward social comparison does reflect positively on woman’s body esteem.

Abstract

The younger generation, or millennials, are made up of people between the ages of 24 and 39. Members of this generation have been assigned to vote in various parliamentary elections. Millennials are a powerful force ahead of general elections in 2024 that will enable political and party elites to win their seats in parliament and power. As a result, we provide knowledge to first-time voters through outreach and political literacy. First-time voters learn a lot from this activity, which helps them make informed decisions and avoid being swayed by political misinformation.

Abstract

Stunting is the most common form of child malnutrition with an estimated 161 million children worldwide in 2013 falling below 2 SD from the median child growth standard according to WHO. Muaro Jambi Regency reached 27.2% which is the highest figure for Jambi Province. Meanwhile, the stunting target in the RPJMN is to reduce the stunting rate to 14%. Seeing the problem of stunting in Muaro Jambi Regency, especially in Pondok Meja Village, the community service team considered the existing problems. The activities of the STOPTUNTING Bot team will be carried out in November-December 2022 at Posyandu Cempaka Pondok Meja. The method of implementing the activity uses FGD techniques, socialization of stunting and demonstrations of using the STOPTUNTING Bot. The results of this activity were from 9 mothers who had stunted toddlers in the Posyandu Cempaka Pondok Meja work area. 7 mothers who had stunted use and utilized the STOPTUNTING Bot to the maximum with a proportion of 77.7% during our activity.

Abstract

The Group Management Questionnaire (GMQ) is an instrument that requires each team member to respond to seventy-two positive statements, all of which have proven to be important for an effective team. Because this instrument is quite good and can provide an overview of an effective team, the authors suggest using this instrument for workers who work in teams within the organization at their company to measure the effectiveness of their team members at work which can then be reviewed about the extent to which the team members can be effective based on the 8 categories in the GMQ. The author suggests it because based on the literature, during the Covid-19 pandemic, there were still several workers who were members of their teams/divisions who were less productive and felt that their performance was not good because there was a mental influence on them. Coupled with the post-pandemic crisis that requires organizations to rise, of course, the effectiveness of a team must be further improved.

Abstract

The study examines the effectiveness of the Children-Friendly Integrated Public Space Program's effectiveness in fulfilling children's rights in the Jakarta Special Capital Region. Specifically, the research focuses on the RPTRA Bandar Kemayoran program in Central Jakarta Administrative City due to the increasing teenage delinquency and criminal involvement of children, as well as the need to maximize the use of public spaces after the COVID-19 pandemic. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, the study analyzes the program's progress and evaluates its impact through interviews, field observation, and desk study results. The study involves six informants who provide valuable insights. Results indicate that the implementation of the RPTRA program has positively impacted meeting the rights of children in the RPTRA Bandar Kemayoran, as evidenced by its progress in terms of context evaluation, inputs, process, and outputs.

Abstract

Every organization competes to increase its attractiveness in order to attract superior applicants to apply to their organization. Various factors influence the decision of prospective job applicants to apply to an organization. One of them is how the willingness of an individual to apply and work in a particular organization which is also called organizational attractiveness. Organizational reputation, which is included in one of the organizational attractiveness components, is also an influential factor in attracting quality human resources to join the organization. This study aims to determine the effect of organizational reputation on organizational attractiveness, especially in companies in the banking sector in the context of negative online company reviews. This research is a research with a quantitative approach and uses a survey method. Subjects or participants in this study are specifically the millennial generation, namely men or women aged 21 to 39 years. Participants in this study amounted to 156 participants. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis, assumption test, and correlation test.The results of this study indicate that organizational reputation has a significant effect on organizational attractiveness (p=0.000) with the value of the strength of the relationship in the moderate category (p=0.444).

Abstract

Penelitian ini berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari studi pendahuluan pada siswa kelas VII semester 2 tahun ajaran 2021/2022 SMPN 1 Cicurug menunjukan indikator siswa kurang disiplin dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Setelah masa pandemi siswa belum terkondisi dengan situasi pembelajaran yang efektif di sekolah, pengaruh pembelajaran daring atau online membawa pengaruh yang kurang baik pada pembiasaan siswa belajar di kelas, perilaku perilaku siswa menunjukan kurang fokus dan kurang semangat yang pada akhirnya siswa sering meninggalkan pembelajaran ketika proses pembelajaran sedang berlangsung. Ada gejala gejala tersebut mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan Konseling (PTBK), untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran di kelas dengan layanan bimbingan kelompok menerapkan tehnik self management atau “Pengelolaan Diri” adalah suatu strategi perubahan perilaku yang dalam prosesnya konseli mengarahkan perubahan perilakunya sendiri dengan suatu tehnik atau kombinasi teurafentik. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran di kelas diharapkan siswa dapat berkosentrasi dan mentaati tata tertib ketika pembelajaran. Berdasarkan analisis data awal terdapat 8 orang siswa berasal dari beberapa kelas, hasil analisis data siswa meninggalkan pembelajaran keluar kelas dengan kriteria sangat tinggi yaitu 85% - 89%. Dari kegiatan PTBK dengan 2 siklus menunjukan bahwa perilaku siswa meninggalkan pembelajaran keluar kelas ketika proses pembelajaran menurun dari data awal sebelum tidakan sampai pada siklus 2, terjadi peningkatan disiplin mencapai 24% sampai dengan 37% kondisi ini sesuai dengan harapan, di simpulkan bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik self management mampu menurunkan perilaku siswa meninggalkan pembelajaran keluar kelas ketika proses pembelajaran dan mampu untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa.
