Abstract

The development success achieved by Indonesia to date cannot be separated from the existence of development plans that have been established and cooperation with other countries. The parameters for success can be seen from the value of gross domestic product (GDP), which continues to increase every year. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of foreign investment, government spending and foreign debt on economic growth in Indonesia in 2000-2022. This type of research is quantitative using secondary data which is time series sourced from the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank. The analytical instrument used is multiple linear regression. The results of this research show that government spending has a significant impact on economic growth, while foreign investment and foreign debt do not have a significant impact on Indonesia's economic growth in 2000-2022.

Abstract

This research aims to test hypotheses and explain phenomena in the form of relationships between variables, namely brand image, price, word of mouth, brand trust, and service quality on interest in using Maxim online transportation among students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, PGRI University Semarang. This research uses a quantitative approach method. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression with testing using SPSS. The test results show that brand image and price have no influence on interest in using Maxim online transportation. Word of mouth, brand trust, and service quality have a significant positive influence. Brand image, price, word of mouth, brand trust, and service quality simultaneously influence positively and significantly. The importance of managing and improving a number of aspects in creating a positive and enjoyable image for users. The positive influence of this combination of variables can indicate the existence of a mutually reinforcing interaction or relationship between the variables.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluate the financial performance of PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. during the 2020-2022 time period using financial ratios such as liquidity, profitability and solvency ratios. The research method used is quantitative descriptive analysis. The data source used comes from financial reports that are publicly available on the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research results show that the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has greatly influenced the performance of PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. especially visible from the fluctuations that occur in all financial ratios, such as liquidity, profitability and solvency ratios. Despite experiencing these fluctuations, PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. successfully overcome complex economic challenges and wisely manage financial risks.

Abstract

Jims Honey products are known as an exclusive fashion brand, but when compared to other brands, Jims Honey products have a more affordable price range and are more popular. In the Special Region of Yogyakarta, this study intends to examine how factors including pricing, brand image, lifestyle, and co-branding impact Jims Honey product purchases. The major source of data for this descriptive study is a survey of research participants. Quantitative methods are also employed. One hundred people from the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia, who were between the ages of 17 and 26 made up the study's population. Jims Honey product purchases are positively and significantly impacted by pricing and brand perception, according to the study's findings.

Abstract

Trade openness promotes industrialization and has a significant impact on a nation's economic development. Increased economic growth can be a result of foreign investment, and state revenue can rise as a result of significant exports of domestic goods. This study aims to assess how economic trade openness affects the economic development of ASEAN nations. Cross-sectional and time-series analyses were conducted using panel data between 2013 and 2022. The study demonstrates that whereas FDI and positive and major economic growth, exports and positive and large economic growth, and imports and negative and insignificant economic growth, are all associated with significant inflation and negative economic growth. It is anticipated that the nation will raise the standard of goods to promote commerce and economic progress.

Abstract

This research endeavors to ascertain the preeminent sectors within Sleman Regency during the timeframe spanning 2018 to 2022. Additionally, the study aims to discern the sectors that constitute the primary focal points for economic development within Sleman Regency, situated in the Yogyakarta Special Region Province. Secondary data, acquired from the Central Statistics Agency, is employed in this investigation, utilizing a documentary study method centered on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at Constant Basic Prices categorized by Field of Business in Sleman Regency and Yogyakarta Special Region Province for the years 2018-2022. The sample comprises 17 economic sectors contributing to the composition of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in Sleman Regency and Yogyakarta Special Region Province. To analyze the preeminent sectors, the research employs the Location Quotient, Shift Share, and Klassen Typology calculation approaches. The findings reveal that the leading sectors in Sleman Regency encompass the Manufacturing Industry, Real Estate, Corporate Services, and Educational Services sectors.

Abstract

An indication of the success of a country's economic development is important to the attention of various parties. The potential gap in economic growth inequality between regions often occurs, sometimes in line with and sometimes not along with improvements in human development and other financial aspects. The purpose of our research is to identify the effect of Regional Original Revenue (PAD) and Human Development Index (HDI) on economic growth (GRDP). The data used in this study are secondary. The use of secondary data obtained from government agencies in the provincial and national environment, namely the Central Statistics Agency, in the form of panel data before the COVID-19 pandemic from 34 provinces in Indonesia for four years, 136 data observations applying regression analysis with Eviews 25 analysis tools in the form of panel data models pooling least square (PLS) / common effect, random effect and fixed effect. The results found that PAD partially affects GRDP while HDI has no significant effect on economic growth. Even though simultaneously the influence of PAD and HDI on economic growth is 73%, it is indicated by the results of the coefficient of determination R-square.

Abstract

The decision to purchase a product is basically influenced by many factors. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence the purchasing decisions of imported food products among students in Banda Aceh City. This type of research is quantitative through an associative approach. Samples were collected using nonprobability sampling techniques with a purposive sampling approach. The collected data was analyzed through multiple linear regression. The results of the research show that the halal label has no effect on students' purchasing decisions about imported food products in the city of Banda Aceh. Meanwhile, promotion, price and religiosity each influence the purchasing decisions of imported food products among students in Banda Aceh City. The implications of the research are that providers of imported food products must pay attention to halal labels, so that the food products sold do not harm consumers, especially students in the city of Banda Aceh.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze human resource management in an effort to improve the quality of emergency room patient services at Otista Regional Hospital. Problem data was obtained based on the Otista Regional Hospital Strategic Plan for 2021-2026. The research used qualitative research methods which describe based on data obtained through interview techniques and distributing questionnaires to the research location at Otista Hospital, Bandung Regency. The techniques used to analyze data are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results showed that based on questionnaire calculations, the average result was 4.65 with a very high index. Meanwhile, for the results of the questionnaire related to IGD HR, the average result was 4.28 with a very high index. The efforts made by Otista Regional Hospital to maintain this condition include ongoing training and guidance for human resources so that HR management at Otista Regional Hospital can continue to provide quality services to patients, especially emergency room patients.

Abstract

Unemployment has an impact on countries that are experiencing economic growth, especially developing countries like Indonesia, it needs to be discussed in the context of this unemployment problem. In this research, the aim is to determine the impact of HDI, education level, and economic growth on the unemployment rate in West Java province from 2018 to 2023. Quantitative techniques and secondary data methods were used to complete this research with the guidance of 2018–2023. Time series data from the West Java Central Statistics Agency from 2018–2023 was used in completing this research. After the analysis test was completed, the research results were as follows: economic growth, education level, and HDI simultaneously influenced unemployment in West Java Province from 2018 to 2023 significantly; Partial economic growth does not affect unemployment in West Java Province from 2018 to 2023. Education level also influences unemployment in West Java Province from 2018 to 2023. It is hoped that the government will consider this carefully, considering that economic growth plays an important role in reducing unemployment.
