Jurnal Genre (Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pembelajarannya) merupakan jurnal ilmiah mahasiswa pada Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Satra Indonesia, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. Jurnal ini menerbitkan hasil penelitian mahasiswa yang berhubungan dengan pengajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia, kajian linguistik dan pengajarannya, serta kajian sastra dan pengajarannya. Jurnal ini terbit 2 kali setahun, Agustus, dan Februari. E-ISSN = 2716-2613. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menampung hasil penelitian mahasiswa Prodi PBSI, UAD dan di luar UAD yang memiliki jalinan kerja sama. Ruang lingkup jurnal ini adalah mahasiswa perguruan tinggi pada prodi PBSI yang berkerja sama dengan UAD. Fokus jurnal ini adalah pengajaran bahasa dan sastra Indonesia, kajian linguistik dan pengajarannya, serta kajian sastra dan pengajarannya.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) menjelaskan dan mendeskripsikan masalah sosial yang terdapat dalam novel Sunyi Nirmala Karya Ashadi Siregar, (2) mengetahui hubungan analisis sastra dengan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode pustaka dan dokumentasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari novel Sunyi Nirmala Karya Ashadi Siregar. Data yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini bukan berupa angka, tetapi berupa kata-kata dalam bentuk kutipan-kutipan. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah ditemukan berbagai masalah sosial yang ada dalam novel Sunyi Nirmala Karya Ashadi Siregar antara lain masalah kemiskinan, masalah kejahatan, masalah disorganisasi keluarga, masalah lingkungan hidup, dan masalah kekerasan. Selain berbagai masalah sosial, pada penelitian ini juga ditemukan hubungan hasil penelitian dengan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA pada kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

Penggunaan frasa adjektival sebagai salah satu unsur pembentuk kalimat yang terdapat dalam susunan tata bahasa sebagai salah satu komponen penting yang mempengaruhi pemahaman maksud dalam komunikasi tulis. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan fungsi klausa yang diduduki frasa adjektival, pola frasa adjektival, hubungan makna antarunsur frasa adjektival, dan kaitan frasa adjektival dengan pembelajaran teks deskripsi kelas VII. Penelitian ini ialah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode simak dilanjutkan dengan teknik dasar sadap dan teknik lanjutan catat. Data dianalisis dengan metode agih, teknik dasar Bagi Unsur Langsung (BUL), dan teknik lanjutan lesap, ganti, dan sisip. Hasilnya, 1) Fungsi subjek sebanyak 7, fungsi predikat sebanyak 73, fungsi objek sebanyak 22, dan fungsi keterangan sebanyak 76; 2) Terdapat 24 pola frasa adjektival yang ditemukan, 9 pola lama dan 14 pola frasa adjektival baru; 3) Terdapat 7 hubungan makna antarunsur frasa adjektival dengan rincian, penjumlahan sebanyak 24, pemilihan sebanyak 4, ragam sebanyak 28, negatif sebanyak 35, aspek sebanyak 17, tingkat sebanyak 56, sedangkan sebanyak 14 merupakan hubungan makna temuan baru yaitu campuran; dan 4) Penelitian ini dikaitkan dengan pembelajaran teks deskripsi kelas VII pada KD 3.2 dan KD 4.2 yang dituangkan dalam Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajara (RPP) dan modul yang berjudul Memahami Frasa Adjektival melalui Teks Deskripsi.

Abstract

This research aims to describe: (1) intrinsic elements; (2) local wisdom contained in the novel Bidadari Bermata Bening by Habiburrahman El Shirazy; (3) the plan to implement the learning of Bening Edged Bening novel by Habiburrahman El Shirazy in class XII of SMA. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The results of this study concluded that (1) the intrinsic elements of the Bidadari Bering Bening novel, namely (a) themes: the major themes of the story of a woman's struggle in sustaining life, minor themes include, matchmaking, self-esteem, romance; (b) figures and characterizations: the main characters, namely Ayna and Gus Afif. Ayna is intelligent, assertive, patient and loyal, Gus Afif is intelligent, shy, responsible, humble, and independent; (c) flow: forward, (d) setting: setting, including Kanzul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, Lombok and Bait Ibni Sabil; time settings include morning, afternoon, evening and night; socio-cultural background including Javanese socio-cultural background); (e) point of view: the point of view of the all-knowing third person; (f) mandate: never put down others, never give up, and always be patient in the face of life's trials; (2) Local wisdoms in the Bidadari Bering Bening novel include (a) languages: Javanese, (b) knowledge systems: natural surroundings, natural flora, natural flora, and the characteristics and behavior of humans, (c) social organizations: systems kinship, (d) equipment of human life: food and shelter and housing, (e) livelihood system: merchants, (f) religious system: religious rituals and teachers / religious leaders, (g) arts: shadow puppets; (3) The plan for implementing novel text learning in class XII SMA based on the 2013 curriculum is contained in the basic competence 3.9 analyzing the contents of the novel and the language of the novel. The method used is a scientific-based Inquiry Learning method. Keywords: Clear-eyed Angels, intrinsic elements, local wisdom.

Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) compliance with the language politeness principle, (2) violation of the language politeness principle in the talk show segment in the NET Morning TV Show Indonesia and (3) its relevance to learning Indonesian in class X SMA. In this research, the data collection uses competent and free listening techniques and note taking techniques and the data presentation techniques use informal techniques. Based on the results of data analysis, the 76 principles of politeness maxim that were found in this study consisted of 14 maxims of wisdom maxims, 14 maxims of generosity, 19 maxims of praise, 6 of maxims of humility, 19 of maxims of agreement, and 4 of maxims of sympathy . The violations of the language politeness principle found in this study amounted to 25 consisting of 2 violations of wisdom maxim, 3 violations of generosity maxim, 2 violations of praise maxim, 5 violations of humility maxim, 11 violations of agreement maxims, and 2 violations of sympathy maxim. The results of the analysis in the study are relevant to Indonesian language learning in class X SMA, as stated in the basic competency syllabus (KD) 4.3, which is developing the contents of the exposition text (problems, arguments, knowledge, and recommendations) verbally and on basic competencies (KD) 4.10 namely submitting submission, offer, approval and concluding in the negotiating text verbally.

Abstract

Postcolonial becomes an interesting topic to be discussed when it has changed the custom and cultural order that had existed in the previous community. Postcolonialism received many pros and cons comments, one of which was delivered by HAMKA in its pro-work entitled The Sinking of the Van der Wijck Ship. Through the postcolonial study of Homi K. Bhabha, the author examines the forms of identity construction conveyed by HAMKA in his novel. This research uses descriptive qualitative method to look for characteristics, elements, traits or phenomena.

Abstract

Stylistics is basically the activity of writers using language, especially language that triggers creativity to sort out the use of language. In this research using the study of stylistics in the poetry anthology of "Negeri Dongeng" by the students of Peradaban University. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data in this study are descriptive words in the Poetry Anthology of "Negeri Dongeng" by Indonesian Language and Literature Education Students at the Peradaban University  and reference books related to research. Data collection techniques with document analysis that starts from the stages of reading, recording, and analyzing data in the Anthology Poem "Negeri Dongeng". The data validity technique in this research is data triangulation. The purpose of this research is to explain the study of stylistics in the anthology of "Negeri Dongeng" poetry by Peradaban University  Students. The results of this study are to explain 6 problems regarding the use of sound style, word style, sentence style, discourse style, the existence of figurative language in the use of figurative language types: metaphor, personification, paradox, hyperbole. While the use of images, namely: vision, hearing, smell, motion, touch. Which is dominated by figurative language imagery.

Abstract

Understanding the meaning in communication becomes an important aspect of life. So that the intentions and objectives can be conveyed when communicating. The purpose of this study is to describe the contextual meaning in the novel if someday by Sifa Mermeida. The benefits of this study are (1) as material to add knowledge about the contextual meaning contained in the novel if someday (2) as a reference for further research. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive description. Research using reading and note taking techniques. The results of research from the novel if someday that the contextual meaning contained in the contents of the story makes the delivery of intent more interesting. Contextual meaning can be known from the markers in the sentence such as the context of the situation, place, object that refers to the conversation.

Abstract

Development of the Indonesian language learning module by learning the steps of the module learning to develop it, where the steps of this activity are designed so that participants can carry out literacy training activities and drive the 5M concepts that are supported to support, ask questions, reason, try, and draw, in addition , this module also helps train students according to what was agreed in the 21st century or what is often referred to as 4C skills. Critical thinking, creative, collaboration and communication. Character education in this case the character of independence that exists in learners will also be instilled through this module. This type of research is Reasrch and Development (R&D). The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique. The method of collecting data in a trial was using a questionnaire. The instrument for eligibility is reviewed from the module. The final stage of this development is the feasibility and effectiveness test. In this article, the researchers discuss the needs analysis starting from the module, until the module that has been completed is explained in the product development article that can be accessed through this article.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the deviations of politeness language principles that occur in teaching-learning interactions and the causes of these deviations. Type of qualitative research. The main focus of this research is the utterances that occur in teaching-learning interactions to determine the form, type, and causes of deviations in politeness principles of language. Data collection techniques used are the SBLC technique (see free and capable conversation), note taking techniques and record techniques. The results showed that (1) the types of deviations in the language politeness principle that occurred in the interaction of teaching and learning of students in SD Muhammadiyah Pakel Plus Program consisted of deviations of wisdom maxims, deviations of generosity maxims, deviations of praise maxims, deviations of modesty maxims, deviations of agreement maxims, and deviations of wisdom maxims. maxim of agreement, (2) the cause of deviations in the politeness principle of language that occurs in the interaction of teaching and learning of students in SD Muhammadiyah Pakel Plus Program includes irregularities caused by speakers intentionally accusing the interlocutor, deliberately not speaking in context and criticizing directly with harsh words.

Abstract

The problems examined in this study are (i) What are the characteristics of the Belian Bawo Dayak Benuaq treatment in the Barong Tongkok District, West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province; (ii) What is the function of the Belian Bawo Dayak Benuaq tribal medicine in the Barong Tongkok District, West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province. The objectives of this study are (i) To describe the characteristics of the Dayak Benuaq Belian Bawo treatment spells in Barong Tongkok District, West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province; (ii) Describe the function of the Dayian Benuaq Belian Bawo Belian treatment spells in Barong Tongkok District, West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province. The method used in this study is an analytical method using observation techniques, structured interviews, notes, records and listening. The results obtained from the analysis of data that has been done by the author, it was found that Biano Belian utterances in the form of (i) Mantra consists of several series of words that have elements of rhythm and rhyme; (ii) Are oral, magical or magical; (iii) Asoferik (special language between speaker and interlocutor); (iv) Many words that are less commonly used in daily life. The function of the Dayak continent medicine mantras is based on the analysis of its functions, namely (i) The function of the mantra as a social control tool (advice); (ii) The function of the mantra as a reminder (warning); (iii) The function of the mantra as tolerance; (iv) The function of the mantra as a means of prayer.
