Abstract

This research aims to understand how difficulties in understanding mathematical concepts are related to the metacognitive abilities of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Sibolga for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects consisted of 32 students of class X MIA 2. Data collection was carried out through the use of questionnaires and tests as research instruments. The results of the research show that students with very high metacognitive abilities are able to fulfill all indicators completely, such as restating the concepts studied, classifying objects based on the requirements that form the concept, identifying the properties of operations or concepts, applying concepts logically, providing examples or are not examples of concepts that have been studied, and present concepts in various forms of mathematical representation. Students with high metacognitive abilities are only able to fulfill five of the six existing indicators. Meanwhile, students with moderate metacognitive abilities can only fulfill one indicator, namely providing examples or non-examples of the concepts they have studied

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari oleh kemampuan penalaran yang rendah dalam menyelesaikan masalah kontekstual. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif untuk menganalisis kemampuan penalaran matematis peserta didik kelas X-10 SMA Negeri 5 Semarang pada materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Tiga Variabel (SPLTV). Metode pengumpulan data mencakup tes tertulis kemampuan penalaran matematis dan wawancara tidak terstruktur. Tes tersebut diberikan kepada 27 peserta didik, di antaranya dipilih 3 peserta didik dengan kemampuan penalaran matematis tinggi (S1), sedang (S2), dan rendah (S3). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik dengan kemampuan penalaran matematis tinggi mampu mengemukakan dugaan, manipulasi matematika, memberikan alasan terhadap solusi, dan membuat kesimpulan. Peserta didik dengan kemampuan penalaran matematis sedang dapat memenuhi indikator mengemukakan dugaan, melakukan manipulasi matematika, dan memberikan alasan terhadap kebenaran. Sedangkan peserta didik dengan kemampuan penalaran matematis rendah hanya mampu mengajukan dugaan dan manipulasi matematika.

Abstract

This internship report discusses the application of data analysis in supply chain management, with a focus on classification and monitoring of warehouse data at PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia. In this report, Excel and R Studio are adopted as data analysis tools to improve efficiency in warehouse management. This research covers two main aspects: first, implementation of a warehouse data classification system using R Studio and Excel to optimize the allocation and placement of goods. Second, using R Studio and Excel for real-time monitoring of warehouse activities, including item selection, delivery, and inventory conditions. Through an experimental approach and historical data analysis, this research evaluates the impact of using Excel and R Studio on operational efficiency and warehouse response speed. The results are expected to provide insight for companies in improving warehouse management.

Abstract

Self  worth is the internal sense of being good enough and worthy of love and belonging from others. In this study, we will analyze self-worth affected mathematic learning outcome classes IXF at MTs Mambaul Huda Krasak. Whic is self worth as independent variable and mathematic learning outcome as dependent variable. Questionnaire of self-worth scala, documentation, interviews, and observations is data collection technique in this quantitative methods study. analysis prerequisite test results show that the significance value of the linearity test on self-worth scale questionnaire results and  mathematic learning outcome was 0,56 > 0,05, it indicates that the data was linear. the significance value of the person correlations was 0,000 < 0,05, it indicates that there was a positive and significant. The results show that the higher the students' self- worth, the higher the students' mathematic learning outcome. It implies that there was an influence between self worth on mathematic learning outcome.

Abstract

According to the OECD, the 2018 PISA results state that 71% of Indonesian students experience difficulties when faced with conditions that require them to solve problems by applying mathematical concepts, so they fail to achieve minimum competitive ability in mathematics. Based on the observations of researchers, there are MAN 1 Gresik students who have difficulty in solving trigonometric problems because they think that this material is too much memorizing formulas. This study used learning style questionnaires, test questions, and interviews to collect data in order to find out students' difficulties in solving trigonometry problems in terms of students' learning styles. The results obtained from this study include: 1) The difficulties of auditorial subjects are the inability to remember the steps of proving trigonometric identities; the basic concepts of trigonometric comparisons and the Pythagorean Theorem, unable to recognize mathematical angle symbols, less careful in calculating powers and calculating fractions, and the inability to draw conclusions. 2) The difficulties of kinesthetic subjects are the inability to remember the steps of proving trigonometric identities and the Pythagorean Theorem, the inability to recognize mathematical angle symbols, and less careful in calculating powers and calculating fractions; 3) The difficulties of visual subjects are the inability to remember the steps of proving trigonometric identities, the inability to recognize mathematical angle symbols, and the inability to draw conclusions.

Abstract

To face the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Era, students need to master 21st century skills. One of them is mathematical communication skills. It is very important for students to master mathematical communication skills because it will help them connect ideas and concepts with mathematical symbols. This research aims to improve mathematical communication skills through the discovery learning model. This research is classroom action research (PTK) which was carried out in three steps, namely pre-cycle, cycle 1, and cycle 2. The research data was collected through tests and observations. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The PTK results show that the discovery learning model can improve students' mathematical communication skills in geometric transformation material. This is proven by obtaining a percentage result of 85% in mathematical communication skills, the indicator of presenting mathematical information or ideas with other forms of representation, and the indicator of composing arguments in solving mathematical problems in the last cycle phase. Apart from that, there was an increase in indicators of analyzing and evaluating mathematical thinking in mathematical communication by 75%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh positif kesiapan belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika serta seberapa besar kontribusi kesiapan belajar terhadap perolehan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik. Penelitian ini menerapkan metodologi kuantitatif untuk meneliti variabel dan hubungan antar variabel. Pengumpulan data untuk penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 5 Semarang pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel 26 peserta didik dari kelas X-3, yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Peneliti menggunakan tes dan angket sebagai instrumen penelitian, dan data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana yang terdiri dari uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis. Peneliti menggunakan software SPSS 25 untuk melakukan analisis statistik data penelitian, yaitu uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa peserta didik dengan kesiapan belajar yang tinggi memiliki hasil belajar matematika yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan peserta didik yang memiliki kesiapan belajar yang rendah atau dapat dikatakan pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif antara kesiapan belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa 45,3% hasil belajar matematika siswa dipengaruhi oleh kesiapan belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

The ability to think logically has a very important role in the learning process, because high logical thinking abilities can guide students to solve problems accurately and purposefully. Logic material is a type of mathematical material that prioritizes logical thinking in every problem solution. Students often experience confusion when solving logic problems, even though logic material is material that does not use number calculations, students often do not understand logic problems which results in low learning grades. This research was conducted on 50 grade 11 students at Mandiri Palembang High School. The aim of this research is to see how much influence students' logical thinking abilities have in solving mathematical logic problems. Statistical testing in this study used simple regression analysis by conducting a t test using the SPSS 26.00 application. Data collection in this study used tests in the form of questions to measure students' thinking abilities in solving logical problems. The research results show that the t value > t tabel is 2.963 which is greater than the t tabel of 1.993. This shows that there is an influence on grade 11 students' logical thinking abilities on their ability to solve logical problems.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development process, product validity, and student response to the development of LKPD Mathematical Representation Based On Project Based Learning For Class IV Elementary Schools. This research uses research and development (R&D) methods using a 4D model consisting of, Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. Data analysis on is carried out based on expert assessment and learner responses. Data assessment Using Likert scale and Guttman scale. The subject of this study was class IV/B SDN Benda 2 with a total of 20 students for the 2023/2024 school year. The results of this study are in the form of LKPD products PjBL-Based Mathematical Representations for Grade IV Elementary Schools. Validation in product development is seen in terms of material, language, and design with an average score of 88% with the criteria of "very feasible" and can be tested to students. The results of students' responses to LKPD product development obtained a score of 91% with the criterion "very good”. From the results of validation and student response, the PjBL-Based Mathematical Representation LKPD product for Grade IV Elementary School can be said to be very feasible and good for use in learning activities.

Abstract

Student perception is the way students see in summarizing the various information obtained while interpreting it so that it forms a mindset towards various phenomena that occur. Student perceptions are divided into four dimensions, namely internal, external, knowledge, and benefit dimensions. This study aims to determine student perceptions of mathematics teaching modules implemented in the Merdeka Curriculum. The research method used is descriptive research using a quantitative approach. This study involved seventh grade students. Data were collected through student response questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study are that the internal dimension is in the good category with a result of 71.2%. In the external dimension, the result is 71.4% which is included in the good category. In the knowledge dimension, the result is 71.3% which is included in the good category. In the benefit dimension, the result is 70.9% which is included in the good category. The results show that from the four dimensions of perception show that students have a good perception of the use of the independent curriculum teaching module used in daily mathematics learn.
