Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran animasi PowToon pada mata pelajaran matematika di kelas IV, khususnya materi keliling dan luas bangun datar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model 4-D (define, design, development, and disseminate). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Karangtumaritis yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Data dikumpulkan dengan tes, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian didapatkan, 1) skor rata-rata dari validasi ahli dengan persentase sebesar 88% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”; 2) skor rata-rata kepraktisan dengan persentase sebesar 93,33% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat praktis”; 3) skor rata-rata dari respon siswa dengan persentase sebesar 94,73% yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat baik”; 4) skor rata-rata dari post test sebesar 76,14 yang termasuk dalam kategori baik sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran animasi PowToon dapat memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa kelas IV mengenai mata pelajaran matematika pada materi keliling dan luas bangun datar.This research aims to develop PowToon animation learning media on mathematical subjects in grade IV, especially on the material circumference and area of plane. This research was the kind of Research and Development (R&D) using the 4-D model (define, design, development, and disseminate). The subject of this research was the grade IV SDN Karangtumaritis with totalling 22 students. Data collected with the tests, observation, question form, and documentation. Data analysis was done with a descriptive analysis. The research results obtained, 1) the average score of validation experts with percentage of 88% that are included in the category of "highly feasible"; 2) the average score of practicality with a percentage of 93,33% is included in the category of "very practical"; 3) score the average of the percentage of students with response 94,73% are included in the categories "excellent"; 4) the average score of the post test of 76,14 are included in the categories “good” so it can be concluded that the PowToon animation learning media can give insight to grade IV on subjects of mathematics on the material circumference and area of plane.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa serta strategi pembelajaran yang masih bertumpu pada guru. Salah satu alternatifnya yakni diterapkalah strategi pembelajaran Problem Based Learning, karena strategi ini diharapakan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pencapaian akhir dan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Problem Based Learning lebih baik dari pada siswa yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Inkuiri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi ekperiment dengan desain non-equivalent control group. Teknik sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dimana kelas IV-A sebagai kelas ekperimen dan kelas IV-B sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil analisis data menunjukan rata-rata skor posttest kelas ekperimen 75,03 dan kelas kontrol 68,7. Rata-rata data Gain kelas ekperimen 0,59 dan kelas kontrol 0,51. Hasil analisis tersebut memberikan kesimpulan bahwa pencapaian akhir dan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas ekperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol.The research is motivated by the low mathematical problem solving abilities of students and learning strategies that are still based on the teacher. One of the alternative is to apply the learning strategies of Problem Based Learning, because this strategy is expected to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This study has a goal whether the final achievement and improvement of students' mathematical problem solving abilities using Problem Based Learning learning strategies is better than students who use Inquiry learning strategies. The research method used was a quasi experiment with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample technique used purposive sampling technique, where class IV-A as the experimental class and class IV-B as the control class. The results of data analysis showed an average posttest score of experimental class 75.03 and control class 68.7. The average Gain data of the experimental class is 0.59 and the control class is 0.51. The results of the analysis provide the conclusion that the final achievement and improvement of experimental class mathematical problem solving abilities are better than the control class.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find the usage of Jarimatika method in improving counting skills ability for low grade students on multiplication 6 to 10. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method. The sample of this study is grade III elementary school. Sample selection by purposive sampling. The study was conducted at SD Banjar Agung 4 Serang Regency with a population of all class III at the elementary school. Data was collected using several techniques of documentation, observation, tests and interviews. This study uses a prerequisite test that is normality test and homogeneity test using SPSS 19 program.The results of this study, there is an improvement in students? counting skills on multiplication 6 to 10 which can be seen by increasing the average score of students in the post test and based on the calculation of the t test with a significant value of 0.343 (exceeded the value of 0.05) and students are more enthusiastic and not quickly forget the multiplication calculation.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis memiliki tujuan penting dalam pembelajaran matematika, memberikan pengertian bahwa materi yang diajarkan bukan hanya sekedar hafalan, namun lebih dari itu dengan pemahaman siswa dapat lebih mengerti akan konsep materi pelajaran. Maka dari itu perlu diterapkan suatu pembelajaran yang inovatif yang dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk mengembangkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa pada materi penyajian data. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan desain non-equevalent control group design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dimana VA sebagai kelas eksperimen sebanyak 26 siswa dan VB sebagai kelas kontrol sebanyak 26 siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen 81,19 dan kelas kontrol 73,19. Adapun untuk uji gain rata-rata kelas eksperimen 0,69 dan kelas kontrol 0,53. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan realistik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis, dengan pencapaian dan peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang mendapatkan pendekatan realistik lebih baik daripada siswa yang mendapatkan pendekatan kontekstual. The conceptual understanding of mathematical ability have an important goal in mathematics, gives the sense that the material being taught not just rote, but more so with the understanding that students can better understand the concept of the subject matter. Thus the need to apply an innovative learning that can be applied in mathematics to develop students' mathematical understanding capabilities. The purpose of this study to determine the application of Realistic Mathematics Education approach to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts in data presentation material. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with non-equevalent control group design. Sampling using purposive sampling technique, where the VA as many as 26 students experimental class and control class VB as many as 26 students. The results of data analysis showed an average of 81.19 posttest experimental class and control class 73.19. As for the test average gain of 0.69 experimental class and control class 0.53. Based on the results of the study concluded that the realistic approach can increase the ability of mathematical understanding, achievement and increase the ability of understanding mathematical concepts that students get a realistic approach better than students who get a contextual approach.

Abstract

Variasi dalam pembelajaran sangat penting untuk diterapkan di sekolah agar siswa tidak merasa jenuh dan kurangnya motivasi dalam belajar. Salah satunya yaitu dengan pengadaan media pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif menggunakan Adobe Flash dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif pilihan media khususnya pada saat adanya virus pandemi Covid-19 seperti saat ini, sehingga dapat menjadi satu diantara cara bagi guru untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang efektif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif menggunakan adobe flash untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian dan pengembangan. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil kelayakan yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini yaitu dilakukan oleh tim ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli bahasa dengan kategori interpretasi “Sangat Layak”, sedangkan respon siswa yang diketahui dari uji coba secara terbatas pada siswa kelas 4 didapatkan kategori interpretasi “Sangat Baik”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran IPA berbasis multimedia interaktif menggunakan adobe flash pada materi gaya (macam-macam gaya) sangat baik dan layak digunakan di sekolah dasar. Pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia interaktif menggunakan adobe flash ini berimplikasi pada meningkatnya motivasi belajar, memudahkan siswa dalam memahami materi di masa pandemi covid-19, dan memudahkan guru dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to develop supporting teaching materials, namely student worksheets in fourth grade of mathematics subjects, especially about the perimeter and area of square, rectangular and triangle. The type of this research is using Research and Development (RnD) that using the 4D model (Four D Model) (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The subjects of this study were 1 teacher and 25 fourth grade students at SDN Serang 02. Data in this study were collected by tests, questionnaires, and documentations. Data analysis carried out is qualitative and quantitative. The results of the study obtained an average value of expert validation with an average score of 86.5% and included a very feasible category, the average value of teacher responses to worksheets was 86.2% with a very good category and the average response value of students was 86, 1% with a very good category and an average comprehension test score of 81.4 with a very good understanding category. Based on these data it can be concluded that the mathematical worksheet oriented scientific approach can be used in learning because it is considered feasible to be used as supporting teaching material in mathematics learning and is able to facilitate students' understanding of the material "perimeter and area of square, rectangular and triangle"

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisi media pembelajaran Blok pecahan pada mata pelajaran matematika di kelas IV, khususnya materi pecahan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Kuasi Eksperimen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen semu. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Sindangraksa yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Pengambilan data diperoleh dengan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan dari hasil kemampuan pemahaman konsep materi pecahan siswa di kelas eksperimen yang lebih baik daripada kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa dikelas kontrol dilihat dari rata-rata nilai pada posttest kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media blok pecahan yaitu 65, sedangkan rata-rata nilai posttest pada kelas control yang mengunakan media gambar yaitu 55, dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pencapaian akhir dari kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa yang menggunakan media blok pecahan pada kelas eksperimen dengan kategori baik, lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol yang menggunakan media gambar dengan kategori cukup.

Abstract

Learning done conventionally often makes students bored and less motivated to learn. In this time of the pandemic, the use of technology-based media such as audio-visual learning videos can become one of the ways for teachers to create effective learning. Audio-visual learning media are developed to make it easier for teachers to deliver learning materials. By developing technology-based media, online learning can be accomplished. The purpose of this research is to know the development and feasibility of media learning audio-visual video stop motion based contextual teaching and learning. The study employs research design and development. The development of audio-visual media videos stops motion based contextual teaching and learning is expected to make online learning during the pandemic more effective, efficient, and useful in elementary school.

Abstract

The low quality at each level and education unit is caused by a lack of learning media that helps students learn. This study aims to develop multimedia teaching materials through the video scribe and Camtasia study applications based on multiliterate elementary school students and to determine the feasibility and responses of students to multimedia teaching materials. This study used the R&D (Research and Development) research method with a modified Borg and Gall research design. The population in the limited trial numbered 20 students. The sampling technique used the purposive sampling technique. The data collection instruments in this study were observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that validation by media experts got 90.28% (very feasible), language experts 99.17% (very feasible), material experts 92.11% (very feasible). The results of the student response questionnaire in the field trial showed 96.41% with very feasible criteria. Based on these results, the final product in the form of multimedia teaching materials through the multiliterate-based videoscribe and Camtasia studio applications for elementary school students is very suitable for use for learning activities of fifth-grade elementary school students. The implication of this research is to provide learning media facilities in the form of multimedia teaching materials that can facilitate student learning needs.

Abstract

Thos Study aims to answer the practices of Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) in the Keluarga Harapan Group in Serang City, Banten Province. Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) or Learning From acting in a participatory manner. Learning and acting together or participatory action -reflection. Participatory learning and action (PLA) is an approach to the learning process and interacting with the community or society. In fact, this approach combines various participatory methods to facilitate collectivity and learning processes in the community. Whereas the participatory Learning and action (PLA) approach is closely related to the community empowerment process where the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) is one of the community empowerment programs. This Study used a qualitative approach by exploring data from PKH facilitators and recipients. The results of the research show that this implementation process involves a lot of community participation as a Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) step where it is the main point of implementing needs-based empowerment programs. So that PLA becomes an encouragement fo PKH recipients to behave protively, have a good quality of life and be able to optimize insights in the use of education or health.
