Abstract

Diabetes is classified as one of the fastest growing life-threatening chronic diseases which has affected 422 million people worldwide according to the World Health Organization (WHO) report, in 2018. Therefore, it is very important to carry out early detection of DM disease because if the disease If left for too long without treatment, it can result in dangerous complications such as kidney failure, damage to the function of other organs to heart attacks. In this research an information system will be built by applying the C4.5 data mining algorithm for early detection of Diabetes Mellitus in humans. The dataset in this study was taken from the Kaggle Diabetes Dataset. The results of the study show that the information system built can assist the medical world in early detection of Diabetes Mellitus in humans through a predictive feature that implements the C4.5 algorithm. In addition, the results of testing the C4.5 algorithm show that the algorithm is classified as accurate in predicting early detection of Diabetes Mellitus if it follows the decision tree rules that are formed.

Abstract

Public facilities are facilities provided for public purposes such as roads, street lighting, bus stops, sidewalks, and crossing bridges. The facilities provided are facilities that provide convenience for the community so that they must be properly maintained. Pedestrian facilities function to separate pedestrians from vehicle traffic lanes to ensure pedestrian safety and smooth traffic. Hospitals have a classification according to the Regulation of the Minister of the Republic of Indonesia Number 56 of 2004 concerning Hospital Classification and Licensing. This is in line with research conducted by researchers that not all hospitals treat all problems/diseases that arise in sick individuals, there are classifications that have been stated in these regulations. Text mining is text analysis where data sources are usually obtained from documents, and the goal is to find words that can represent the contents of the document so that an analysis of the  relationships, linkages and classes between documents can be carried out. The Hospital Classification Information System created can classify hospitals based on the data entered which can be accessed using an Android-based smartphone. This Hospital Classification Information System was created using the K-Means Clustering Method in hospital classification.

Abstract

The measurement of Awicoffee’s website quality was conducted with the aim of enabling the website owner to develop aspects that have low value, so that they can continue to develop in line with the times. The data used for this research is the result of questionnaire distribution given to 100 respondents. Website quality measurement is carried out using the webqual 4.0 method with 3 aspects assessed, namely Usability, Information Quality, and Service Interaction Quality. The purpose of this research is to determine the satisfaction value of Awicoffee website users and to determine the most significant instrument in determining  user satisfaction. Based on the research results, it was found that these three variables have an influence of 76.59% on user satisfaction, while 23.41% is influenced by variables that were not examined. Also, the variable that has the most significant impact on user satisfaction is Information Quality with a value of 5.97, whereas the Usability variable has a value of 3.42 and the Service Interaction Quality variable has a value of 3.30.

Abstract

PT. Socfindo, rubber cultivation and production is one of the main activities, where production risks play a significant role. Fluctuating rubber production and productivity are among the consequences of production risks. The production and productivity of natural rubber at Aek Pamienke PT Socfindo have experienced fluctuations from 2009 until now. There have even been instances of unmet production targets at the company. This is attributed to several production risks, such as technological usage, rainfall, pests, and diseases, resulting in a yearly decrease in total rubber processing despite consistent land area. Data mining is a process that utilizes statistical techniques, mathematics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to extract and identify useful information and related knowledge from various large databases. The ID3 algorithm is one data mining algorithm specifically applied to decision tree techniques. By employing the classification algorithm ID3, it can assist PT. Socfindo Aek Pamienke in processing rubber processing data. In this algorithm, the selection of attributes to be processed uses information gain. In selecting attributes for object resolution within multiple data, the attributes that produce the greatest information gain must be chosen.

Abstract

In Indonesia, Sugar Gliders are still not classified as endangered animals, but quotas have been imposed to regulate the capture of Sugar Gliders. The Sugar Glider (Petaurus Breviceps) is a nocturnal marsupial mammal. In addition, Sugar Gliders are often called "pocket pets" because these animals like to live in the pockets of their adopters' clothes. It's called the Sugar Glider because this mammal likes sweet food and can float like a flying squirrel. This ability to levitate is due to a membrane that stretches between its two legs called the Patagium. Even though Sugar Gliders have been kept a lot, most animal lovers do not understand proper care and the types of diseases that can attack Sugar Gliders. In addition, only a small number of veterinarians understand the Sugar Glider thoroughly, and the cost of treatment is quite expensive. The rapid development of computer technology provides convenience in accessing various aspects of life, one of which is the medical field. In this study using the Profile Matching method as a calculation method. This method adheres to multi-variable decision-making with elements of objectives and objectives. The researcher chose this method because Profile Matching considers logical consistency in the assessment used to determine priorities so that there are not many alternatives. Abstract

The objective of this project is to develop a Responsive Outgoing Mail Management Application utilizing Bootstrap for the Household and Bappeda Division of Medan City. The objective is to enhance productivity by efficiently gathering, analyzing, and utilizing data inside a commercial entity. Furthermore, he incorporates the assessment and development of a web-based archive management information system for handling incoming and outgoing mail at the Jambi DPRD City Secretariat. The system employs Unified Modeling Language (UML) for the purpose of system modeling. Furthermore, this study highlights the significance of establishing a comprehensive archive system for both incoming and departing emails. The system will be implemented utilizing the Model View Controller (MVC) paradigm, renowned for its efficacy in structuring and overseeing documents throughout the business. The term to summarize, the suggested application for overseeing outgoing mail in the Household Division and Bappeda Medan City aligns with prior research on enhancing effectiveness through web-based systems in various organizational settings. By combining UML modeling and MVC approaches, it is possible to develop apps that effectively streamline outgoing email processes. This research enhances the field of information management systems by offering valuable insights into the development of responsive web apps customized to fit the specific needs of enterprises. This subsequently enhances operational efficiency and optimizes data management processes.

Abstract

Waste remains a significant problem in the city of Medan, even in Indonesia. Dealing with waste in the city of Medan continues to be a major task for anyone responsible for its management. However, waste can be turned into creative and innovative recycling projects that can be competed in and always be present in events related to the environment. Waste banks serve as a platform for organizing recycling competitions, but differences in priority criteria, participant data storage, and a lengthy assessment process pose challenges. Decision Support Systems (DSS) offer a solution to this issue. This research aims to identify participants deserving of winning the best recycling creativity and innovation competition. The method used to determine priority weights is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), and to rank the competition participants, the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is employed.

Abstract

Since childhood children must be familiarized with various teachings about religion. Where in the teaching process there is a need for software that is suitable for children, namely learning software in the form of educational games. Because with the existence of educational games, learning that was originally considered troublesome, difficult, boring and tiring can be an increase in motivation for students in studying Islam besides that, the purpose of this study can provide knowledge about the basics of Islamic religious learning from an early age through educational game applications and make student learning more interesting and fun. Educational games in this system by displaying learning menu options that will be selected by the user and quiz using randomized questions. Programs needed to create this application include unity 3D which uses the C# programming language and uses additional supporting software, namely adobe photoshop CS6. For the development model using the Interactive Multimedia System of Design and Development model while for the randomized question process using the fisher yates shuffle method which consists of 40 questions but for those displayed on the quiz only 10 questions so that each question will change for each student. The results with this educational game can prevent student cheating when answering questions and can increase students' concentration and interest in learning in using educational games.

Abstract

Grand Theft Auto IV is one of the groundbreaking installments in the renowned franchise that has shaken up the video game industry. Showcasing the captivating fictional city of Liberty City, the game entices users to explore and immerse themselves in its world. To enhance the immersive experience and facilitate exploration, the game introduces a revolutionary map navigation system. This revolutionary navigation system piqued our interest, leading us to uncover the secrets behind its success in addressing the common navigation issues faced by players over the past decade. This study aims to examine the functionality and application of artificial intelligence within this acclaimed navigation system. Utilizing a descriptive analysis method, we investigated the workings, types, and role of the pathfinding algorithms employed in the map navigation system. The system offers two navigation options, visual and audio, both powered by Dijkstra's algorithm. This algorithm calculates the shortest route between the player’s current position and the set destination. Additionally, the adaptive voice selection algorithm brings the calculated route to life through verbal instructions. In terms of performance, the visual navigation system excels with a route calculation time of 2.064 seconds, while the audio navigation system is slower at 6.009 seconds. Despite this, both navigation systems effectively assist users in navigating the complexities of Liberty City.

Abstract

The development of the front-end Edu Fisheries in the Smart Fisheries Village (SFV) Bangsring program using User-Centered Design (UCD) and User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) aims to improve access to and quality of fisheries education. SFV Bangsring faces specific issues such as the low level of education and awareness among the local community regarding sustainable fishing practices, as well as the ineffectiveness of previous conventional approaches. The UCD method is used to understand user needs and design an intuitive user interface, while the UEQ method is used to evaluate user satisfaction with the developed system. The development results show a significant improvement in the accessibility and quality of fisheries education, with a 40% increase in fishermen's knowledge about sustainable fishing practices and a 35% increase in user satisfaction compared to previous approaches. The evaluation with UEQ covers aspects of attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, accuracy, stimulation, and novelty, all of which show positive average score increases. This research emphasizes the importance of a user-centered approach in designing educational systems that respond to user needs, as well as the significant positive impact on improving the accessibility and quality of fisheries education, and awareness and sustainable fishing practices in the SFV Bangsring environment. The implementation of this technology is expected to continue supporting the empowerment of the fishing community through better and more sustainable education.
