Abstract

The use of Information Technology (IT) is an important part of all business activities, especially in the service sector. It is important to ensure the security, availability and integrity of their systems. The impact of failure in IT Risk Management greatly influences success. The implementation of IT Risk Management is needed to be able to help companies in the event of losses. In its use, a framework is needed that functions to identify, evaluate and manage existing risks. Therefore, this research will show the COBIT framework that is suitable for managing existing risk management. This research was carried out using the Systematic Literature Review method which started from the stages of formulating research questions, literature search, literature selection, data extraction and discussion aimed at answering Research Questions. In this research, 25 articles were found which were used as literature sources. The research results show that COBIT 2019 is the version of COBIT most often used in IT Risk Management in the industrial service sectors. In implementing COBIT, companies face various challenges such as lack of in-depth understanding of COBIT, lack of work process documentation and lack of operational standards for risk control and incompatibility of IT strategy with company strategy. This research also found that there are 8 points of COBIT implementation strategy to help service industry companies achieve organizational goals more effectively and efficiently through IT risk management.

Abstract

Information Technology Governance plays a very important role in managing all company needs. Especially in the world of education, technology plays a very important role in carrying out the vision and mission of all educational service needs. However, there are many problems experienced and the order of infrastructure and how to manage it that is not maximized so that it makes the order not run well. Because this can lead to various problems from the course of the education service process. Therefore, a framework such as COBIT 2019 is needed which has become the main guideline in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of information technology management in various organizations, including universities. This journal aims to assess COBIT 2019 framework users at various higher education institutions to determine the level of capability and gaps that generally occur. Through a Systematic Literature (SLR) approach, the journal details a number of significant findings, including an in-depth understanding of how COBIT 2019 is adopted and implemented in higher education settings. With Research Question (RQ) i.e. RQ1 Which domains in IT Governance are the main focus for most colleges and high schools implementing the COBIT 2019 framework, RQ2 What are the capability levels and advice provided in most higher education institutions implementing the COBIT 2019 framework. The results of this study found 13 articles that met the inclusion criteria, after identifying titles, abstracts, and conclusions from 48 articles that fell into the exclusion criteria. From the screening of these journals, the results show that the main focus of universities and colleges in implementing the COBIT 2019 framework is on the DSS05 domain. In many higher education institutions that implement the COBIT 2019 framework, the level of capability tends to depend on a strong understanding of best practices in managing IT operations, because there are many universities that have not been able to achieve the desired capability targets. As such, these institutions are required to continuously improve their capabilities in the face of dynamic IT environment changes and strengthen efforts to maintain the resilience of their operational systems.

Abstract

IoT-based reservoir water storage system using NodeMCU. This system can monitor and send information about water levels in real-time via the internet. The method used is to detect the water level in the reservoir using an ultrasonic sensor and control the water level using a relay. This system can help reduce economic losses caused by not being able to detect accurately by buoys which can cause an overflow of water in the reservoir. The method used in this research is the prototype method with stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation and evaluation. An IoT-based reservoir water storage system using NodeMCU ESP8266, relays, and ultrasonic sensors connected to the internet via Wi-Fi and controlled using the Blynk application on a smartphone. The aim of this research is that the system can provide notifications to users if the water level in the tank has reached certain limits, such as low, medium and full water conditions. As a result of this research, an IoT-based reservoir water storage system has been successfully developed using NodeMCU, relays, ultrasonic sensors, and the Blynk application which can monitor and send information about water levels in real-time via the internet.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a mobile application for recording student internship data by applying a software development approach using the Waterfall model. The Waterfall model, known for its linear and structured stages, was chosen to ensure that the development process was carried out in an organized and documented manner. The main objective of this research is to implement a mobile application using the Kodular platform with a focus on recording student internship data, with the hope of increasing efficiency, accuracy and monitoring of internship activities. This research adopts the Waterfall model through the stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. The analysis stage is carried out to understand the needs and objectives of the application in depth, while the design stage is focused on the required structure and functionality. The implementation phase involves transforming the design into an optimally functioning mobile application. Testing is carried out to ensure application stability and performance, while maintenance is carried out to respond to changing needs or technology updates. By integrating the Waterfall model, this research aims to provide a structured framework that ensures each development stage is carried out carefully. It is hoped that the results of this research can create an efficient mobile application for recording student internship data, so that it can make a positive contribution in increasing efficiency and monitoring internship activities as a whole. Apart from that, this research can also be a reference for future mobile application developers who want to adopt the Waterfall model for similar projects, taking into account special needs and characteristics in the context of recording student internship data.

Abstract

The development of information technology has created devices that can help complete work very easily. Nowadays, many agencies and organizations use technology to complete tasks and work, one of which is keeping records using technology in providing services to customers who want to make complaints. Tirtanadi Medan Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) is a regional company in the province of North Sumatra. PDAM's waste water marketing branch itself was established in 2019. This is in line with the issuance of Medan Mayor Regulation No. 29 of 2019. PDAM Tirtanadi's Waste Water Marketing Branch receives customer complaints every day. PDAM Tirtanadi's Waste Water Marketing Branch still operates the system. manual, namely recording all customer complaints using a book and storing the files in a cupboard. This makes it difficult for contact parties and technicians to find data which continues to increase every time. The solution to the problems that occur at PDAM Tirtanadi Waste Water Marketing Branch is building a Website-Based Customer Complaint Reporting System at PDAM Tirtanadi Waste Water Marketing Branch which is part of the objectives of this research. This system was developed using the waterfall method. The results of this research created a Website-Based Customer Complaint Reporting System which is expected to make it easier for people to find customer complaint data and help technicians to speed up the process of repairing problems that occur to PDAM Tirtanadi Waste Water Marketing Branch customers.

Abstract

Jambi Province Regional Development Bank or Bank Jambi is a bank in Indonesia. This bank was founded on February 12 1959 and is domiciled in Jambi City. Jambi Regional Development Bank is one of the banks that faces competition from other banks. It expects the council to use the greatest capacity accessible, to win over the opposition. One of the assistance techniques to change the implementation of data innovation that takes advantage of business goals is data innovation administration. The acceptance of innovation administration using the COBIT 2019 structure will have a huge effect in supporting the goals of the organization on the grounds that legitimate data innovation administration can help the organization in competing with different opponents. Different improvements have occurred during the modern time frame like now and have fundamentally affected various parts of society, including the business and production areas of online stores. Taking advantage of this, processes that have been recognized as significant processes, such as APO08 (Managed Relationship), APO12 (Managed Risk), APO13 (Managed Security), DSS04 (Managed Continuity), and DSS05 (Managed Security Services), must be continues to be focused on achieving the significant standards that have been set. By focusing on this cycle and continuously assessing and improving, companies can achieve better goals in using data innovation offices for corporate achievements.

Abstract

Investing in shares is now increasingly popular and growing rapidly in Indonesia. By investing in shares, investors will get quite fast and large profits in a fairly short time. Investors need to analyze previous stock movements as a form of investment strategy to get maximum investment results. Many techniques have been applied to predict stock prices, one of which uses techniques in Deep Learning such as Recurrent Neural Network. In this research, research was conducted on stock price predictions using the Recurrent Neural Network method with the Long-Short Term Memory (LSTM) approach on BBNI stock data. The research only uses close data or data about daily closing stock prices. In designing LSTM there are several things that are configured such as dropout size, density, activation function, and number of neurons used, and in the training process one of the optimizers provided by the Keras framework is used, namely the ADAM (Adaptive Moment Estimation) optimizer. The test scenario is carried out using a number of epochs of 10 and 20 with a batch size of 32. The test results will produce MAE and MAPE values, where the lower the MAE and MAPE values, the better the model's performance in making accurate predictions. The test results using epoch 10 got an MAE value of 0.0286 and a MAPE value of 0.0488, while the test results using epoch 20 got an MAE value of 0.0150 and a MAPE value of 0.0257.

Abstract

The problem of this research is the lack of interactive and interesting resources to help individuals understand and perform Eid prayers correctly, as well as the lack of learning time given to students related to learning prayer practices. To overcome this problem, this research develops a learning media application for Eid prayer practices that uses augmented reality with the Android-based Marker Based Tracking Method. The development model used is the Research and Development (R&D) development model. The results of this study indicate that based on the benefit aspect questionnaire data, the calculation of the percentage score of the application benefit aspect shows a result of 83.75%. Meanwhile, the visual communication aspect received a percentage score of 82.19%. Both aspects fall into the good category, indicating that this application is feasible to use as learning media.

Abstract

In the contemporary era, numerous businesses offer motorcycle washing services and sell motorcycle cleaning products. However, many people still engage in manual transactions, with customers visiting the business premises in person. Purifiers is a business specializing in motorcycle washing services and the sale of motorcycle cleaning products. In conducting its operations, Purifiers facilitates transactions with customers who visit its business location. With the advancements in internet technology, this study aims to create a website to enable online motorcycle washing services and product sales through Purifiers. Customers can initiate transactions through the website, after which Purifiers will visit the customer's location to pick up the motorcycle for washing. Additionally, purchased motorcycle cleaning products will be dispatched either through a courier service or upon the return delivery of the motorcycle to the customer. This research focuses on the design of the Purifiers website for motorcycle washing services and the sale of cleaning products, utilizing the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The methodology employed for the development of this website follows the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall method, encompassing stages such as analysis, design, coding, and testing. Based on the outcomes of the Black Box testing, all menus on the website, both from the admin and user perspectives, function well according to their intended purposes. Furthermore, the results of the Portability testing using various browsers indicate that the website operates smoothly, with all pages displaying correctly.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to clasify pathogen of Jabon’s leaf seedling based on spora morphological features using Probabilistic Neural Network classifier. Three types of pathogen to be classified are Colletotrichum sp., Curvularia sp., and Fusarium sp.. The methodologies used are data acquisition using optilab camera microscope to obtain microscopic image data , preprocessing (grayscale, median smoothing, thresholding Otsu, region filling, median smoothing and dilate), morphology feature extraction (area, perimeter, area convex, convex perimeter, compactness, solidity, convexity and roundness), Probabilistic Neural Network classification, and evaluation. The basic morphological characteristics consisting of area, perimeter, convex area, convex perimeter, and derived morphological characteristics consisting of compactness, solidity, convexity and roundness. The experimental results of the morphological feature extraction showed that the compactness and roundness characteristics can be used to identify the three types of pathogens because with these characteristics each class of pathogen is separate. Testing for this research was carried out using 150 test data from three classes of objects from the dataset, namely class 1 (Colletotrichum sp.), class 2 (Curvularia sp.), and class 3 (Fusarium sp.). Then the results of pathogen classification using the application of the PNN algorithm in testing this research obtained an average accuracy value of 86.8% with a proportion of training data and test data of 80:20. The results of the PNN classification on 150 test data were that there were 36 data classified into Colletotrichum sp., 44 data classified into Curvularia sp., and 50 data classified into Fusarium sp. Further research could be done with the identification of digital microscopic images without cropping and systems that could clasify a colony image of pathogens clearly.
