Abstract

The research that the author made discusses the application of the exponential comparison method (MPE) in determining thesis topics, supervisors and comparative lecturers of case studies at the Faculty of Computer Science, Indonesian Methodist University which aims to produce decisions in the selection of thesis topics, supervisors and comparison lecturers according to the criteria in Indonesian Methodist University. A decision support system (SPK) is needed that can find the student title value from each criterion that has been determined by the Indonesian Methodist University for the decision-making process. Applying the Exponential Comparison Method (MPE) using the criteria that have been determined by the campus, namely being registered as active students, having completed a minimum of 100 credits, students conducting research and compiling thesis manuscripts. The decision support system for selecting topic titles, supervisors and comparison lecturers made by the author uses the PHP programming language, and uses a MySQL database that is run on the Windows operating system

Abstract

The development of e-commerce at this time is increasingly rapidly marked by the increasing number of internet users in Indonesia. The conventional buying and selling process is still widely used in the era of increasingly rapid development of internet technology. However, the conventional buying and selling process is considered inefficient because it requires sellers and buyers to meet directly and also the sales coverage is felt to be less broad, so an efficient sales media is needed and has a broad coverage. So that these problems are not sustainable, an e-commerce website with a business to customer model will be built. The built e-commerce will provide a questionnaire page for customers which will later be implemented by the customer satisfaction index (CSI) method which produces a customer satisfaction index for the e-commerce that has been built. For software development, using PHP (Pear Hypertext Preprocessor) and HTML (HyperText Markup Language) as programming languages, MySQL as database server, Sublime Text 3 as programming support tools

Abstract

Having teachers, teaching staff and professional staff is a must for schools in carrying out a quality education process, as is the case with SMP Negeri 1 Kota Tebing Tinggi. For this reason, schools always encourage the improvement of teacher professionalism by monitoring teacher performance in implementing their duties so that they can achieve predetermined competency standards. The creation of a decision support system is one way to assist in determining teacher performance assessments at SMP Negeri 1 Kota Tebing Tinggi and is expected to The system is able to determine the best teacher or employee based on ranking. Decision Support System (DSS) is a system that produces an alternative decision that can be used as a tool in making a decision. Abstract

Promotion is a transfer from one position to another that has a higher status and responsibility. For this reason, the company always encourages employee professionalism improvement by monitoring employee performance in implementing their duties so that they can achieve predetermined competency standards. Abstract

The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the University of Timor is a student organization located at the State University of Timor. In its implementation, BEM at the University of Timor acts as a forum or means for all students of the University of Timor to be able to express their opinions and to develop various potentials that students have. The election of the chairman of the BEM of the University of Timor is directly elected by the students by a general election process. The process of selecting the chairman of the BEM is still done manually so that there is a lack of interest from voters to participate because they have to go to the polling station. Therefore, the development of information technology today has brought great changes for humans, including to carry out voting so that the term e-voting (electronic voting) appears which provides convenience in voting. E-Voting is a general election process that utilizes information technology facilities or electronic devices, where part or all of the implementation process, from voter registration, voting, to vote counting, is carried out digitally. The function of voting is to gather the aspirations of all students, and then find a way out that is considered a good cross. Therefore, the researchers helped the election system easily and created an application for the election with the title "E-voting for the election of the chairman of the Mobile-based Student Executive Board (BEM) of the University of Timor using the waterfal method".

Abstract

Tenun merupakan warisan budaya Indonesia yang harus dilestarikan dan dijaga. Pendataan tenun secara komputerisasi merupakan salah satu bentuk pelestarian tenun pada bidang teknologi khususnya dibidang penolahan citra digital. Pendataan dapat dilakukan dengan pengenalan pola motif tenun. Untuk mendapatkan informasi citra tenun yang akan digunakan dalam pengenalan pola, proses ekstraksi fitur merupakan hal yang penting. Informasi dari hasil ekstraksi fitur dapat digunakan dalam proses pegenalan pola berupa klasifikasi dan temu kembali citra. Penelitian ini akan mengekstraksi fitur citra tenun Timor. Ekstraksi fitur tekstur menggunakan metode Gray Level Co-Occurrence Matrix (GLCM). Hasil ekstraksi fitur dapat digunakan untuk pendataan citra tenun Timor serta juga dapat digunakan untuk klasifikasi motif tenun Timor. Pengujian menggunakan lima sampel citra tenun Timor. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa nilai parameter dari metode GLCM meliputi fitur Contrast, Correlation, Energy dan Homogenity. Fitur-fitur yang diperoleh dapat digunakan untuk proses klasifikasi dan pengenalan pola citra tenun Timor.

Abstract

Abstract - Tides are a phenomenon of periodic and periodic ups and downs of sea level movements. The tidal period is the time between the crest of a wave to the crest of the next wave, the time of the tidal period varies from 12 hours 25 minutes to 24 hours 50 minutes. Information about tides is very useful for activities related to the marine world. In the area of ​​​​Kuala Langsa, tides often occur, fishermen and anglers in Kuala Langsa only rely on the poles of residents' houses to determine the time of the tide. The system is made useful so that fishermen and anglers can find out the time and state of the tides using smartphones, by creating a “Sea Tidal Monitoring System using Ultrasonic Sensors and nodeMCU which can provide results of monitoring the time and tidal status in Kuala Langsa and will displayed on a Web page”. Ultrasonic sensors can detect well and can provide tidal data to be displayed on a web page and can be accessed using smartphones and other devices during the testing period in Kuala Langsa village, Langsa City with 62.5% success being tested.

Abstract

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a series of wireless networks consisting of several nodes in a limited area. Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) and Grid-Based Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (G-LEACH) methods are clustering methods used to collet data by clustering nodes in the WSN area. The clustering process for both methods is the same, namely by select node as the Cluster head (CH) whose job is to collet data from other nodes to the sink. The selection of CH is carried out in each round by taking into account the probability formula used and the largest the remaining energy at that node. This study aims to determine the quality comparison of CH selection techniques in clustering-based routing protocol on WSN. The result of the study show that the G-LEACH routing protocol has good quality CH selection techniques and a long network lifetime compared to LEACH but requires a long time to reach the CH selection process

Abstract

The segmentation process is the separation of parts of the object area from the background in an image, so that segmented objects can be processed for other purposes such as pattern recognition. The results of segmentation must be accurate, if it is not accurate in separating objects in the image it will affect the results of further processing. The segmentation process is carried out using the Otsu Thresholding method on sandalwood leaf images by first applying the Median filter to reduce noise. After obtaining the segmented image, then performing performance measurements. The segmentation results from each test are evaluated using the RAE (relative foreground area error) and ME (misclassification error). The segmentation results of 8 sandalwood leaf images from 2 existing conditions show that, sandalwood leaf image segmentation with good leaf conditions obtains the best segmentation results with smaller errors of 5 image data. While the images of sandalwood leaves affected by the disease as many as 3 image data have more diverse areas so that the segmentation results are not good without any morphological process
