Jurnal ini diterbitkan tiga kali dalam setahun, yaitu bulan April, Agustus, dan Desember. Artikel yang dimuat dalam jurnal ini mengedepankan analisis objektif terhadap kasus manajemen dan organisasi dalam perspektif akademik berupa hasil penelitian di bidang manajemen dan organisasi dalam perpektif akademik berupa hasil penelitian di bidang manajemen dan review terhadap konsep manajemen baru maupun implementasi konsep manajemen dengan studi literatur. Redaksi menerima naskah dari berbagai pihak untuk dimuat pada jurnal ini. Naskah yang masuk harus mengikuti Format Penulisan Naskah Jurnal Manajemen dan organisasi.

Abstract

IHSG and ISSI in the last three periods show that standard deviations have increased and the yield rate has declined. Preliminary observations found that during this period there was a weakening of the Rupiah against the US dollar which was reported to weaken from February to October 2018 and regained strength afterwards. The focus of this research is to analyze the performance of Islamic stock portfolios and general stock portfolios compiled with the Markowitz method under conditions of a weakening exchange rate and when the exchange rate conditions strengthen. The results of the portfolio formation reveal that, more Islamic stocks are needed when the condition of the rupiah exchange rate weakens and fewer Islamic stocks are needed when the exchange rate conditions strengthen. Islamic stock portfolios have returns and risks that are greater than the general portfolio in each condition. However, the performance of the Islamic stock portfolio is inversely proportional to the general stock portfolio.

Abstract

The function of organizational culture is to engage all components of the organization, determining identity, energy injections, motivators, and can be used as guidelines for members of the organization. Organizational Culture is one of the key successes of BPPI in the assessment of PMPRB. The purpose of this research is to answer: (1) How the realization and expected of organizational culture at BPPI Ministry of Industry? (2) How is the leadership style of BPPI leadership of the Ministry of Industry that is analyzed through the perception of leaders and employees by Using Management Skill Assessment Instrument (MSAI)? (3) How recommendations are given regarding managerial implications of organizational culture and leadership style that need to be improved Upgrade to BPPI. The Research results of the organization BPPI Ministry of Industry realization is more likely to dominate to Clan culture and hierarchy. While the expected culture of BPPI Ministry of Industry to be more likely to dominate to Clan culture and Adhocracy.

Abstract

Baluran National Park is one of the Indonesian interesting tour destinations to be visited by local and foreign tourists which is located in Situbondo, East Java. Promotion and condition of tourist destination components are needed to attract visitors. This research aimed to determine the effect of the promotion mix and tourist destination components on the decision to visit Baluran National Park. Primary data was taken by observation, interview with managers and also offline and online surveys. Purposive sampling with criteria minimal come in the last 2 years was used and taken of 100 respondents. The analytical method used descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results of the study showed that from variable promotion mix (advertising, promotion selling, direct marketing, public relation) and tourist destination components (Attraction, Accessibility, Ancillary, Amenities), only 3 variables; promotion selling, Attraction and Amenities were significant affect on visitors decision to come Baluran National Park.

Abstract

Indonesia is the fourth longest coastal country in the world, so it has the potential to become a salt exporting country. But appareantly, Indonesia has very high salt imports. This paper seeks to raise the irony bya modeling Indonesian salt imports. Based on various theories and result of previous studies, this paper proposes the price of imported salt, the real exchange rate, the need for salt, and domestic production as an independent variable. The sample used stretches from 2001 to 2018. This paper uses a time series model to analyze data. With the conditional ECM (error correction model), this paper finds that in the short or long term, all selected independent variables have a significant effect on the volume of salt imports, although the exchange rate requires lag to influence the import. This paper suggests increasing the education of salt farmers related to the salt content desired by industry.

Abstract

The new epidemic phenomenon called Covid-19 which originated in Wuhan, China continues to increase its victims. This article aims to provide an explanation of the new outbreak and analyze planning management regarding the important role of government policies that must synergize with the community by 4 strategies from the government, namely promotive, preventive, curative and social safety net strategies which will later impact on strategies that are can the government apply in passing a pandemic disaster. The method used in writing this article is a qualitative method that explains something based on data and numbers narrated in concluding sentences, besides that, the writing of this article is library research, collecting data through available documents. and using triangulation techniques in analyzing the data that has been collected. The results obtained are the role of the government constantly reminding and asking for the participation of the community to achieve maximum government policy results, the need for the role of the community in an effort to overcome the pandemic to carry out all existing policies so that there is synergy to break the chain of spread of the COVID-19 virus and It was also found that the Head of RT / RW is one way that can assist the government in carrying out synergy with the community. This research is expected to be a source of reference for the government in planning the next policy in the process of overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors influence the use of management accounting in Batik SMEs in Pamekasan Regency and how it influences the use of management accounting applications related to control instruments. This research method uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study is the owner of batik SMEs in Pamekasan Regency. The sample was determined using a purposive sampling method with a total of 44 respondents. Data collection was done byinterview techniques and questionnaire distribution. Analysis of the data used in this study is SEM-PLS using the SMARTPLS 3.0 application. The results showed that education and financing did not affect the use of management accounting related to control instruments, whereas accounting training and business scale influenced the use of management accounting related to control instruments. The effect of the use of management accounting on batik SMEs in Pamekasan Regency has a positive effect on business development. After applying management accounting, SME owners can carry out planning and supervision in the operations of SMEs, in other words management accounting strongly supports business success.

Abstract

The use of e-commerce in running a business has become a trend nowadays. This is marked by many consumers conducting online transactions to run their business or order the desired product because it is easy, fast and flexible. This study aims to analyze consumer characteristics, factors that influence the intention to buy products through e-commerce, and differences in consumers when shopping at malls and e-commerce. The approach in this study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. This research was conducted using accidental sampling techniques with respondents totaling 121 people. This study uses primary data which is done by distributing questionnaires directly to respondents totaling 121 respondents consisting of 121 respondents to e-commerce users in the Jabotabek region. Data analysis was performed using SEM using Partial Least Square (PLS) software. This study shows that most consumers are students and domiciled in Bogor and do not have jobs yet. The objective norms and attitudes toward behavior have no significant effect on buying intentions, whereas only hypotheses related to perceptions of behavior control have been shown to have a significant effect on it. This means that consumers prefer shopping at the mall compared to shopping online.

Abstract

This paper empirically investigates the various approaches to model time-varying systematic risk in Indonesia and Thailand by using time-series data from 2009 to 2017. Indonesia and Thailand were used as examples because of their growing economics since the turn of 20th century. As recent empirical studies have been conducted on stock markets in developed countries, there is an increasing need for testing in emerging markets, which have grown and become increasingly popular with international investors, such as Indonesia and Thailand. This study examines dynamic beta models using GARCH (1,1), EGARCH, TARCH, Schwert-Seguin, and the Kalman-Filter group to empirically find the most optimal time-varying beta model. This study uses the Fama-French Five Factors asset pricing model to include other factors that might influences value of systematic risk for each portfolio in both countries. This model can capture five factors that can affect returns, namely market factors (CAPM), size, book to market equity, profitability, and investment. By incorporating volatility and state space estimation, this study compares all tested models based on information criteria (AIC, SIC, and HIC). The results of this research proves that GARCH (1,1) in Indonesia and TARCH in Thailand outperforms other models in capturing the systematic risk. This study will be useful for future economic studies in Indonesia, Thailand and their neighboring countries.

Abstract

Kasus covid-19 muncul pertama kali di Wuhan Cina pada akhir tahun 2019 dan menyebar ke seluruh dunia termasuk Indonesia. Wabah ini menyebabkan kekhawatiran baik di kalangan masyarakat, pemerintah, maupun dunia usaha. Respon masyarakat dan pemerintah dalam melakukan upaya-upaya pencegahan yaitu social distancing dan pemberlakuan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) di berbagai daerah di Indonesia menimbulkan roda perputaran ekonomi melambat. Penyebaran wabah covid-19 yang sangat cepat di Indonesia memberikan pengaruh yang besar pada sektor ekonomi khususnya pasar keuangan di Indonesia. Ketidakpastian pasar keuangan yang tinggi tercermin dari volatilitas Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG). Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh covid-19 terhadap pergerakan Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG). Pengumpulan data sekunder penelitian diperoleh dari data harian perkembangan jumlah kasus covid-19 dan IHSG periode Maret โ€“ Mei 2020. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana dan uji hipotesis menggunakan Uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah kasus covid-19 di Indonesia pada hari sebelumnya berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap fluktuasi IHSG hari ini. Kata Kunci: covid-19, IHSG, saham

Abstract

Coffee pulp waste is one of the most significant industrial wastes today because, in the last three years, the coffee business has increased in Indonesia, especially in urban areas. Coffee pulp waste has economic value if it can use it. This study is conducted to (1) describe the interest of coffee shops in South Jakarta to provide coffee pulp waste as cosmetic raw materials, (2) to apply green marketing as a social business strategy to develop creative industries. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a case study approach. To discover coffee shop owners' interests to utilize coffee grounds waste, data collection through interviews with 30 coffee shop owners in South Jakarta, and observation. Determine the strategy of implementing green marketing in coffee shops through the utilization of coffee grounds waste produced. The results showed that coffee shops in South Jakarta produced 1-5 kg โ€‹โ€‹of coffee waste per day. All owners have not utilized the coffee grounds waste. The interview results showed the coffee shop owner's desire to provide coffee pulp waste produced for use as raw material for making cosmetics. Utilizing this coffee pulp waste can lead to new businesses that can be developed as creative industries. The new company is a social business that impacts solving social problems, namely creating new jobs in environmentally friendly cosmetics made from coffee grounds waste.
