Abstract

The purpose of this analysis is to explain how the impact of TATO, Current Ratio, DAR on ROE on the consumer goods industry on the IDX during 2015-2019. The total population is 58 with 26 companies as the sample. Techniques and data analysis in this study using purposive sampling, multiple linear regression analysis and classical hypothesis testing. This can be seen from the results of the study that simultaneously TATO, Current Ratio, DAR have an effect but not significant on ROE in consumer goods industrial companies listed on the IDX 2015-2019 with the results Fcount> Ftable (7,760> 2,68). Partially, TATO has a significant effect on ROE, with the result tcount <ttable (3,753> 1,97897). Current ratio has no and insignificant effect on ROE while DAR has no significant effect on ROE. The result of adjusted R-squared 0.136 or the coefficient of determination of 13,6% percent of the dependent variable ROE which can be explained by the independent variables TATO, Current Ratio, and DAR.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence the intention to use of digital wallets with an expanded approach of technology acceptance model by adding subjective norms and perceived security as exogenous variables. Subjective norms variable is hypothesized either directly or indirectly through the endogenous variables in TAM to influence intention to use, while perceived security variable is hypothesized to have a direct effect. The hypotheses that have been submitted forms a theoretical framework as structural equation model (SEM). Empirical data was collected through an online survey of 233 respondents who answered 23 questionnaire questions in full. The selection of respondents is determined by purposive—non-probability sampling approach from active users of LinkAja in Bandung whose population is not yet known. The software used to perform the statistical tests of informing that all indicators used meet the criteria of validity and reliability, the ten hypotheses submitted are all accepted based on the t-significance test and strong determining factor. The five TAM variables and their expansion have a positive and significant effect on the intention to use. The biggest influence of antecedent variables on the intention to use sequentially is subjective norms, perceived usefulness, attitude, perceived ease of use, and the smallest is perceived security. In increasing the intention to use, operators should prioritize on increasing subjective norms from prospective users, such as testimonials from role models about the ease of use, convenience, and attractiveness of the digital wallets.

Abstract

The growth rate of e-commerce in Indonesia is high. The condition could be seen on the competition map between marketplaces in Indonesia. Bukalapak was one of the top three marketplaces in Indonesia that has seen the most significant decrease in visitor numbers in 2019, at 26 percent precisely. Organizations should formulate marketing strategies in accordance with marketing mix determined based on market analysis to survive in the competitive field. This research aims to analyze consumer perceptions of marketing mix and purchase decision on Bukalapak, analyze marketing mix factors that influence purchase decision on Bukalapak, and formulate marketing strategies to hold back the decline in Bukalapak visitor numbers. The research data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling and presented descriptively. The results showed that 66 percent of consumers rated products on Bukalapak had excellent features, 72 percent of consumers rated prices on Bukalapak were reasonable, 64 percent of consumers rated payment methods on Bukalapak were in variety, and shipping discount on Bukalapak was attractive. The marketing mix factors that significantly influenced purchase decision on Bukalapak were place and price. Recommended marketing strategies to hold back the decline in Bukalapak visitors were increasing price variations and optimizing mobile application speeds.

Abstract

An increasing business transaction can cause rapid growth in online shops and marketplace. One of the affected is an online shop. From several logistic services, tracking and tracing information services are the main focus in this study because online shops as the business partner have a lack of attention in these services. The objective of this study is to investigate the factors of online shop behavior in using tracking and tracing information services. This study used a unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) as the framework. The quantitative data were collected through questionnaires from 207 samples of online shops selling women’s fashion and listed in the marketplace. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) with LISREL 8.70.The result of this study found that “the intention to use” the tracking and tracing information services depend on the effort expectancy (EE) dan social influence (SI), while “user behavior” depends on facilitating condition (FC) and the intention to use. The ease of access factor and learning the tracking and tracing information services are the important factors for the intention to use, whereas electronic devices and internet network factors used by the online shops are the main factors for the user behavior. Logistics companies need to provide information services that can help the online shops in controlling their goods in a good way where the ease of access and learning become the main focus that needs attention. Furthermore, online shops need to facilitate their admins with technological devices and a good internet network to make the admins easy to access information services.

Abstract

While smallholders play a significant contribution on Indonesian oil palm production, they are confronted to sustainability challenges. This study aims to analyze determinants of their behaviour to apply sustainable practices. Theory of Planned Behavior was applied to examine the effect of attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control and past behavior toward smallholders' intention to implement sustainable oil palm production practices. In this study the sustainable practices include applying organic fertilizer, integrated pest management, non-fire land clearing, certified seed and participating in a farmer group. A survey was carried out over 242 oil palm smallholders in Kampar, Riau. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) program was employed to examine our hypothesis. The results show that attitudes, perceived behavioral control and past behavior have positive and significant effects on smallholders' intention to implement sustainable production practices, whereas subjective norms seems to be not significant. Smallholders tend to be individually independent in making a decision or taking action. Hence, improving attitude toward sustainability, for example, through extension service or training and providing incentives to overcome perceived behavioural control are expected to be an effective measure to encourage sustainability practices among oil palm smallholders.

The process includes the preparation stage (proposal), implementation, thesis writing, and thesis defense. The purpose of this study is determine the symptoms of stress experienced by final year students, knowing the stress factors, and determine alternative stress management in writing their thesis. The method that used is non-probability sampling with a quota sampling technique. Total sample is 419 respondents. Descriptive and factor analysis are used for analytical tools. The results stated that IPB students felt stressed during the preparation of the thesis with physical symptoms that were felt easily tired and heart palpitations. The most contributing factor in student stress is the data analysis method. Alternative stress management for students is taking a short break, doing activities according to hobbies, setting a schedule for meetings with the supervisor, making graduation targets, and thinking positively.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the brand performance of Langit Musik service with brand awareness as an exogenous variable. Brand awareness is hypothesized to affect brand performance either directly or indirectly. The entire hypothesis proposed forms a research framework in the structural equations (SEM) model. Empirical data was obtained through an online survey of 238 respondents who answered 24 questionnaire questions in full. The selection of respondents was determined by a non-probability sampling approach from users who have used and are using Langit Musik service in Indonesia. The software used to perform a series of statistical tests informs that all indicators used meet the criteria of validity and reliability, the research model meets the match criteria, the seven hypotheses submitted, the whole is accepted based on the t-significance test, and produces strong factors. The three variables and their expansion have a positive and significant effect on brand performance. The biggest influence of variables on consecutive brand performance is brand awareness, brand reputation, brand trust. To improve performance, Langit Musik can increase its promotion so that people can get to know langit musik service.
