Jurnal Manajemen dan Organisasi didedikasikan untuk menumbuhkan kreasi pertukaran ide antara akademisi, kalangan industri atau bisnis praktis, dan institusi pemerintah dalam bidang manajemen dan organisasi. Jurnal ini diterbitkan tiga kali dalam setahun, yaitu bulan April, Agustus, dan Desember. Artikel yang dimuat dalam jurnal ini mengedepankan analisis objektif terhadap kasus manajemen dan organisasi dalam perspektif akademik berupa hasil penelitian di bidang manajemen dan organisasi dalam perpektif akademik berupa hasil penelitian di bidang manajemen dan review terhadap konsep manajemen baru maupun implementasi konsep manajemen dengan studi literatur. Redaksi menerima naskah dari berbagai pihak untuk dimuat pada jurnal ini. Naskah yang masuk harus mengikuti Format Penulisan Naskah Jurnal Manajemen dan organisasi.

Abstract

Social capital in the form of strong internal and external networks is useful in maintaining the company's supply chain resilience and company competitiveness. During the COVID-19 pandemic, social capital in the form of relationship strength that is the mainstay of transportation service companies is not utilized optimally due to restrictions on direct interaction between companies and stakeholders. Effort to digitize company services is one option in empowering social capital through relationship strength to maintain supply chain resilience and company competitiveness. This research explores the role of service digitalization in the empowerment of social capital to generate supply chain resilience and company competitiveness. Data and information are collected from 446 Indonesia’s marine transportation services companies through online surveys and analyzed statistically using SEM WarPls. The results showed that social capital has a significant effect on the company’s supply chain resilience and also on the company competitiveness. Furthermore, service digitalization strengthens the influence of social capital on the supply chain resilience. Likewise, service digitalization strengthens the influence of social capital on company competitiveness. On the contrary, service digitalization actually weakens the influence of supply chain resilience on the company competitiveness.

Abstract

In 2020, the export value of Indonesian porang was increased by 23,35 percent to reach USD19,6 million. The increase was also accompanied by problems such as not being widely known and used by the public, as well as the low level of public knowledge about porang which is beneficial for health. This study aimed to determine public knowledge of porang and analyze the relationship of demographic factors to people's willingness to consume porang and its processed products. The data used in the form of primary data comes from the distribution of online questionnaires and secondary data comes from literature review. This study used a convenience sampling technique involving 436 respondents, as well as descriptive analysis and cross tabulation. The results showed that: (1) respondents' knowledge of porang/processed products as a diet menu had a positive and significant effect on the willingness to make porang/processed products as a diet menu; (2) there was a positive and significant relation between the type of work and the willingness to consume porang/processed products. The appropriate recommendation is to provide education and socialization for the community in order to increase public knowledge and awareness of porang.

Abstract

Program kewirausahaan dilaksanakan di hampir sebagian besar kampus di Indonesia. Hal ini sebagai bentuk kontribusi kampus terhadap peningkatan ekonomi melalui mahasiswa sebagai agen perubahan dan kewirausahaan karena secara jumlah, Indonesia memiliki tingkat kewirausahaan yang rendah dibandingkan dengan negara ASEAN lainnya. Namun sayangnya, program ini masih menemui beberapa kendala, diantaranya kemampuan mahasiswa dalam pengelolaan keuangan. Oleh karena itu, manajemen keuangan merupakan hal mendesak yang harus dikuasai oleh mahasiswa yang ingin sukses dalam mengembangkan usahanya. Metode pengambilan sampel adalah probability sampling dan menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh langsung dan signifikan variabel manajemen keuangan terhadap keberhasilan usaha mahasiswa. Selain itu, hasil pengujian juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara langsung dan signifikan jiwa kewirausahaan mahasiswa terhadap keberhasilan usaha. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa penguasaan manajemen keuangan dan jiwa kewirausahaan bagi mahasiswa yang menjalankan usaha sangat penting untuk keberlangsungan program kewirausahaan di kalangan mahasiswa.

Abstract

Filter is one of the spare parts playing an important role in maintaining the quality of aviation fuel. Filter replacement is increasingly being carried out when the frequency of aviation fuel distribution is higher. Therefore, it is necessary to control the filter level of inventory. This research aimed to design filter ordering schemes by Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and to reduce the inventory cost for filter in aircraft filling depot. This research was conducted in one of aircraft filling depot in Indonesia. The data regarding filter demand, lead time, ordering cost, and carrying cost were collected from the depot’s documents. Several steps were conducted to achieve the purposes of the research including classifying filter category by ABC method, calculating optimal order quantity, order frequency, safety stock, reorder point, and inventory cost. The inventory cost calculated by EOQ was then compared to the actual inventory cost incurred in the depot to determine the inventory cost reduction. The implementation of EOQ enabled the depot to reduce its inventory cost by Rp8.348.848,20 or there was a 73,22 percent inventory cost reduction.. The EOQ used in this research was adapted to the difficulties of the depot to predict the demand of filters. The probabilistic EOQ used in this research was expected to be the contribution from this research since this method tended to be used in the uncertainty condition. Based on this method, the safety stock was calculated as a way to reduce the uncertainty demand and the risk of filter shortage.

Abstract

The pressure experienced by a management accountant tends to make him commit unethical behavior, especially financial report fraud. This causes a decrease in the quality of decision making by parties who have an interest in both management and third parties. This study used interpretive analysis and triangulation methods of in-depth interviews of a management accountant and observations who revealed that the characteristics of bees are hardworking, trustworthy, sincere and willing to sacrifice, disciplined, obedient and obedient, independent, not seeking positions, respecting leaders, beneficial to other beings. and maintaining cleanliness provides a handle for management accountants. The ethics of management accountants integrity, objectivity, competence and professional due care, confidentiality and professional behavior are in line with the character of bees. The bee characters used in this study come from Putra and Nurhadi, 2020, p. 139-192 and Jayana, 2016, p. 109-147.

Abstract

Blockchain is an inspiring new technology that requires a lot of attention from various researchers and companies. This technology offers various benefits, where the newest derivative of this technology is Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT). In NFT, various digital assets such as images, videos, music or virtual creations are traded. The relatively new NFT creates a lack of user knowledge to be able to utilize this technology as a digital asset for trading. On the one hand, users welcome the use of NFTs as a tool to gain financial gain, but on the other hand, there are users who doubt the long-term success of NFTs as a form of investment and see them as a temporary trend that may be detrimental in the event of a market crash. The purpose of this research is to explore various factors that can impact the attitudes of NFT users. The research used a quantitative method which was carried out at the Indonesian NFT Community, involving 377 respondents as a sample. Questionnaires were distributed online using the Google form on the Telegram platform. The data analysis used in this research is by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of the study show that there are five factors that significantly influence the attitude of NFT users. Perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, perceived trust, and personal innovativeness have a positive and significant effect on user attitudes, while perceived risk has a negative effect and is one of the factors that has the most impact on user attitudes than other factors, followed by perceived trust in the second position as the most dominant variable. So like any new technology, NFTs have risks and trust issues that most users consider.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a map of the industrial value chain at PT. Electronic City Indonesia Tbk uses the industrial value chain analysis model. Researchers use the case study method, an empirical investigation method that examines a recent case or phenomenon in depth and reality, especially when the boundary between wonder and context is unclear. The subject of this research is PT. Electronic City Indonesia Tbk. The results of the research yield information on a list of companies engaged in the Indonesian electronics retail industry, a list of companies as product suppliers for the Indonesian retail sector where they are part of the product manufacturer and assembler industry (PT. Sony Electronics Indonesia, PT. Samsung Electronics Indonesia, PT. Sharp Electronics Indonesia, PT. LG Electronics Indonesia, and others) and a list of companies that are suppliers to the product assembly industry in Indonesia located outside Indonesia (Samsung Electronic, Sharp Corporation, LG Group, and Sony Corporation and others). The value chain of the e-commerce industry conducted by PT Electronic City Indonesia Tbk is relatively simple because it only has links with producers/suppliers and end consumers. There are four actors in the value chain of the retail electronics industry: component or raw material supplier companies, manufacturing companies, retail electronics companies, and end consumers. PT. Electronic City Indonesia Tbk has no products produced under its brand and does not carry out a value-added process. This can be a threat if manufacturers or suppliers experience production problems because it will hinder product sales in the retail electronics industry.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of fee-based income on profit changes and the influence of risk management and innovation as a moderator between fee-based income and profit changes in state-owned banks. This study uses secondary data from annual financial reports of 4 banks, namely BRI, BNI, BTN, and Mandiri banks published by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), www.idx.co.id and the website of each related bank in the period 2013-2022. The data processing method used in this study is panel data regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) using the Eviews 12 program. Based on the results of the study, fee-based income has a positive effect on earnings changes, risk management harms earnings changes, innovation has a positive impact on profit changes, risk management can weaken the effect of fee-based income and profit changes, and innovation can strengthen the effect of fee-based income and profit changes.

Abstract

PT X is one of the developers of rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) power plants in the commercial and industrial sectors in Indonesia. Over time, there has been a strategic uncertainty of market demand since 2022, mainly affected by the strong bargaining position of Wilayah Usaha's state-owned enterprise (Wilus SOE). Wilus SOE plays a significant role, is given priority in the provision of electricity for the public interest as stipulated in the regulation, and also has a dominant share (95 percent in 2020), making it a de facto monopoly in the electricity business in Indonesia. Wilus SOE has legitimacy as a power distributor and therefore has the authority to approve the capacity of rooftop solar PV power plants. Referring to this situation, this research aims to identify the intended strategy of PT X and the emergent strategy in dealing with the strategic uncertainty of market demand. PESTEL analysis (political, economic, sociocultural, technological, environmental, legal) and five-forces framework (competitive rivalry, new entrants, substitute products, suppliers, customers), as well as emergent strategy evaluation, were used as the framework of this research. To strengthen the analysis results, in-depth interviews were also conducted with the management team of PT X. Based on the series of analyses, it can be concluded that PT X's business is strongly influenced by legal factors while the competitive rivalry and customers' factor have very strong forces. On the other hand, PT X has implemented an emergent strategy well in dealing with the strategic uncertainty of market demand, as an effort to maintain the company's profitability. This research is expected to provide benefits for PT X and other rooftop solar PV power plant developers to understand the emergent strategy in order to remain competitive in its business implementation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the implementation of the boundary system in an effort to better business to business (B2B) relations than the retail company PT. X to suppliers who conform to the concept of levers of control with the support of existing compliance programs in the company. Within the levers of control, the boundary system is a control strategy to determine the company's competitive position. This study used a qualitative methodology, which was designed as an intensive case study involving several methods of data collection and analysis including interviews, field observations and document analysis. The results of this study indicate the ineffectiveness of the boundary system in management support in the implementation of the boundary system, the application of business conduct boundaries, and the implementation of government regulations even though the compliance program in the PT. X company has been effective, causing the main dimensions of successful collaboration in business relations with suppliers to not be achieved.
