Abstract

Many organizations or agencies in Indonesia have several accounts from various social media channels such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram which are intended as a means of complaining about the products or services they have. As information technology develops, social media continues to grow and requires an organization to create accounts on these channels so that it can continue to relate to the public. Problems like this make it difficult for the organization to process the sentiments conveyed by the public. Therefore, a responsive web-based management system was created that can be operated via a computer or smartphone in categorizing sentiment in the form of data into information using the Naive Bayes method which is fast and high-accuracy in classification by utilizing data sources from social media channels that are integrated in the application.

Abstract

Lecturer assistants are apprentice students whose job is to assist lecturers in teaching and learning activities in class. There are 10 students who are doing internships as teaching assistants. At the end of each semester the Training Division in a university conducts an evaluation of the assessment of students who are apprentices as teaching assistants. However, currently the training department has not yet found the right method for making decisions to determine teaching assistants who deserve to be extended for internships in the following semester. Currently, decision making is based on an assessment of the ability to explain the material when the lecturer concerned is unable to attend, although there are still many assessment criteria that can be considered in decision making. To solve this problem, this study adopts a method in making decisions on the extension of teaching assistants by using the Profile Matching method which includes several assessment criteria including attendance, neatness of dress, loyalty, work performance, responsibility, obedience, honesty, cooperation, initiative and leadership. From this criterion, it will be included in the Core Factor and Secondary Factor with the criteria of very good, good, pretty good, not good and very bad scores, so that in this research a decision was made to extend teaching assistants in the following semester, namely by choosing 4 teaching assistants who each has the following assessment results: AST9 with a value of 4.9, AST10 with a value of 4.8, AST1 with a value of 4.4 and AST8 with a value of 4.4.

Abstract

Currently, technology can affect services in any field, both in areas such as salon services and sales of clothing products. How to plan a marketing strategy using the web based on service transaction data and products that are most often chosen by customers. Therefore, an information system for determining frequency patterns is needed using the website-based Apriori Algorithm method. The results of research on salons based on the type of beauty treatment obtained for the type of treatment with a minimum confidence = 70%, the first confidence value is 63% if the customer chooses to wash (shampoo), the customer chooses scissors, the second the confidence value is 100%, if the customer chooses to blow then chooses also cut, and the third confidence value is 86% if the customer chooses creambath then the customer chooses to cut too. Meanwhile at the shop clothes determining the frequency pattern of types of clothes with a minimum value of confidence = 70% so that the results include if a customer buys a veil, the customer buys a robe with a confidence value of 71.43% and if a customer buys khimar then the customer will also buy a robe with a confidence value of 78, 57%. With these results salon and clothing store owners can determine marketing strategies by providing the right product and service recommendations to customers.

Abstract

Information technology, especially in the field of computer technology, has developed very rapidly which has brought to the new world, communication plays an important role in life. Various facilities are provided to meet all communication needs, especially sales. This can be seen from the many places that provide internet facilities to obtain information, which can be enjoyed by all groups at an affordable cost. PT. Sinar Surya Semestaraya is a company that sells fire extinguishers. The sales system is still not computerized, so it is difficult to record sales transactions and manage sales reports resulting in miscalculations due to employee negligence. This is less effective and efficient, because it is difficult to record and calculate the number of types of goods that exist. The large number of items sold and the crowd of buyers can make it difficult for sellers to organize and calculate sales transactions quickly, precisely and efficiently. The solution to the problem is utilizing accounting information systems, especially the sale of fire extinguishers. Through computerization, it is hoped that it will make it easier for consumers to make the purchasing process and get complete information. Information on product names is available using a website-based sales application program. Companies can market one product to consumers with a wide range, so that from a business perspective it is a good opportunity to expand product sales marketing.

Abstract

Currently the cultivation of plants by means of hydroponics is partly a hobby and some are a necessity. The cultivation of hydroponic plants requires a touch of technology such as the Internet of Things (IoT). This technology is very important in order to get crop yields that have good quality and quantity. The Riyadusalihin Islamic Boarding School currently implements plant cultivation by applying hydroponics, because the activities at the Islamic boarding school are quite dense so that in farming they rely on estimates to regulate the temperature and humidity of the air resulting in failure in hydroponic farming such as vegetables not growing well, lack of quality of the plants vegetables and many vegetables wither and eventually die. The purpose of using IoT in smart farming is one of them in the cultivation of vegetable plants so that they can monitor plants without disturbing the activities of the students and can be controlled remotely so that they can condition or stabilize the temperature and humidity of the air in plants. In this study applying IoT technology using the Blynk application, where this application is one of the advances in information technology which is quite popular among smart phone users because the user interface is quite simple, many features are presented by Blynk and easy to access, with the operating system controlled. with Arduino Nano via ESP 8266 and temperature sensor DS18b20 so that monitoring of plants can be done easily and the plants will grow well by having good quality and quantity and the students can get good nutrition which can be obtained from foods such as these vegetables.

Abstract

This research proposes a design thinking style in design that can be applied gradually and is easy to understand, so that visual works can be accurately implemented in any medium. By understanding the design thinking method, designers will have a better understanding of the characteristics and process of creation, so that the creation of works has higher quality, innovation, and objectivity and can be accepted by a large audience. The result of this research is a reading application display on Android-based smartphones that presents in the form of text, images, and sound elements. In this application, there are also novels, poems, and the latest news that are updated every day. This research discusses problem analysis, system requirements analysis, manual data analysis, and decision support system design using design thinking method for UI/UX design on KuyBaca application. After the design process and testing of respondents, it was found that the application design made it easier for users to carry out activities in the application. The effectiveness of UI/UX in the KuyBaca application can be proven from the results of testing the design. Users can understand the flow of the application and can carry out their duties.

Abstract

Competition between is increasing including in retail trade. With the rapid development of technology, retail needs to be more responsive. Retailers must be able to run their business efficiently if they want to compete with global. This is due to the fact that many traditional retailers start opening contemporary retail stores, such as Aneka Furniture. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a method that can be used to integrate existing systems in an enterprise. ERP divides information into two parts, that is, within and between business processes, and running a business digitally. ODOO is an Enterprise Resource Planning software that can be used as an enterprise system that can integrate existing systems in the company. The research used the Inventory Module and found that some ODOO software features, such as product input, receipt input, shipment and return, and report printing, were used. It is expected that this research will help inventory recording in Aneka Furniture.

Abstract

Information technology developed by higher education institutions must be able to solve problems and be the right solution for the effectiveness of the performance of a higher education institution. One of them is in predicting the acceptance of prospective new students which is an important process to test how much public interest is in becoming a student on a campus. In this study, a predictive model was built using a data mining approach. The purpose of this study is to show predictions of the acceptance of prospective new students regarding the attractiveness of prospective students at Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya University (Ubhara) when viewed from the location data of the prospective student's school of origin. So that Ubhara can adjust his marketing strategy in introducing the Ubhara to prospective students. This study uses a dataset of prospective new students who registered at Ubhara in 2019 and 2020 and selected 50 datasets as samples and applied data mining techniques using the C.45 algorithm. Data mining techniques are built through Python programming using the stages of data selection, checking for missing data values ​​and data transformation. The results of this study are used as an evaluation and recommendation for marketing using a confusion matrix, an accuracy rate of 60% is obtained. This can be improved by using more datasets.

Abstract

Printing is a need that is currently widely used in various fields, this is because printing helps a lot in the promotion process or efforts to introduce a product to a new business. Printing at PT. Mitra Abdi Setia currently does not have a sales information system so the research wants to analyze the ordering system that will be run at PT. Mitra Abdi Setia and designed a new website-based system in order to provide convenience in ordering online. A priori algioritma is the best know algorithm for finding high-frequency patterns. Association rule mining analysis is a data mining technique to find the rules of a combination of items. One of the stages of association analysis that attracts the attention of many researchers to produce efficient algorithms is the analysis of high-frequency patterns (frequent pattern mining). The purpose of this study is to build a website and be able to mine data that will later produce best-selling sales data information, and consumers will know the recommended products from PT. Mitra Abdi Setia.

Abstract

Many parents have few references to send their children to school, and are only based on suggestions or invitations from those closest to them. Lack of information can be one of the reasons for the lack of references for parents to choose a junior high school for their child. The lack of information regarding the location of junior high schools is the reason for the lack of references for parents to send their children to school. Based on the existing problems, the authors propose a web-based geographic information system that uses the A-Star Algorithm (A*) to be used as a means of information and also to add references for parents/guardians. The A-Star (A*) algorithm is a method for searching for information about the distance to reach a destination by selecting the closest route.
