Abstract

Sunday school is one of the non-formal education for children aged 1-15 years who are Christians in Indonesia, one of them in Maluku. The Sunday School  in Maluku is one of them, under the Maluku Protestant Church (GPM) in the form of Sunday Schools and Tunas Pekabaran Injil (SM-TPI), and also Catechisms. The aim of the GPM Sunday School is to shape the character of GPM children in accordance with the character as written in the Bible;  but to understand the Bible for children sometimes it is still difficult, because there are several styles of language and thoughts that are quite difficult for children to understand. Therefore, one way to ask children to understand Bible is by applying interesting medial. One of the media that can be used is videos. The types of videos made in this development are animated videos, and the material that is adapted to the Sunday school teaching materials of GPM level 3(9 Years Old), namely testifying character materials. This animated video was developed using the ASSURE research model. The result of the validation tests from material experts, media experts, design experts shows that animated videos are very useful and suitable to be used in the learning process in Sunday school. Based on the results of field tests of this animated video as well, it can help Sunday school children in understanding the material taught by the teacher, particularly the material of testifying characters.Keywords: Sunday school, video, animation

Abstract

The aim of the research is to study the konci januari tradition with a study of PAK. Konci januari tradition is one of the traditions that contains values and norms that function to regulate and direct the behavior of individuals and groups in the Tomalehu-East society, these values include the values of solidarity, fellowship, religion, education and respect . Tradition in general is a call, habit and law that places and controls behavior and relationships within the community. While specifically adat is a habit or way of life that has been passed down from the ancestors, this research was conducted with a qualitative research Mapproach. In Tomalehu-Timur country, Manipa Island sub-district with a population of 67 kk and a total of 287 people, consisting of 148 men and 139 women. Christian religious education according to Calvin is fertilizing the minds of believers and their children with the words below the guidance of the holy spirit through a number of learning experiences carried out by the church. So that in themselves produced continuous spiritual growth that is endorsed more deeply through self-service to God the Father of Jesus Christ in the form of acts of love towards each other. Relations or relations that existed after the 1999 conflict between Tomalehu-Timur State and other lands in the Manipa Islands sub-district were considered to be very good up to now due to the frequent activities that involved all elements of both the State staff and traditional figures and religious figures.Keyword: Konci Januari tradition, PAK Values

Abstract

The new paradigm of education requires that a teacher in general and specifically PAK teachers must improve classroom governance properly and creatively. Therefore, a class management with an innovative atmosphere is needed. This effort was made to improve the quality of learning in the classroom and encourage students to learn. For this reason, classroom management relating to classroom management is important to support an effective teaching and learning environment in the classroom. Therefore, a teacher must avoid the conventional habits or old ways, do not always pay attention to classroom management, this is very influential on the teacher's teaching style and learning styles of students.Key words: Classroom management, PAK learning, innovative teaching and learning.

Abstract

Peace, tranquility, stability and happiness are the desires of human life, including Christian families. Consciously or not every individual in the life of a Christian family craves such a living situation. However, in fact, conflict is the reason for Christian families living in unhappiness, unease, unhappiness. Love and affection are lost due to the feeling and conviction that emerge as a way of life that is far from peaceful. Inner feelings and wounds outweigh the will of peace, stance exceeds the hope of living peacefully. Peace is one of the ways in the process of conflict resolution over conflicts that occur including Christian family conflicts. The way is through dialogue and communication with love and affection through conversation, dialogue with actions and attitudes, then the Christian family's peace is revealed.Key words: peace, family conflict

Abstract

 Abstract: This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of Christian Religious Education with a grade average of 61. Meanwhile, the minimum completeness criteria for Christian Religious Education were 75. Among the 9 students, only 3 students achieved minimum completeness criteria with 44% classical completeness.  This research is a classroom action research which aims to improve the learning outcomes of the fourth grade students of SDN Baratajaya Surabaya by applying the Two Stay-Two Stray Technique Cooperative model.  Data collection instruments in this thesis are teacher and student activity sheets and learning outcomes.  This study presents the learning outcomes obtained by an average learning outcome before action 61 increases to 66 in cycle I. In cycle II increases to an average of 82. Teacher activity in the first cycle of the first meeting the percentage obtained is 2.85 with a percentage of 66% including in the good category, in the second cycle was 3.33 in the very good category with a percentage of 88%.  This shows that there is an increase in teacher skills by 0.48 with a percentage of 48%.  While the average student activity in the first cycle was 3.09 with a percentage of 66%, in the second cycle it was 3.17 with a percentage of 88% so there was a fairly good increase, namely 0.08 with a percentage of 8%.  This shows that an increase in teacher skills and student activity affects the increase in student learning outcomes so that the quality of Christian Religious Education learning increases. Keywords : Two Stay-Two Stray Cooperative Techniques, Learning Outcomes of Christian Religious Education

Abstract

Regarding the role of parents in the formal education of the child, it can be known that there is a gap between the expectation and the fact that in the village Taar Dulla Selatan District is very concern. The fact is found, that with the work of different parents such as driver Oto, motorcycle taxi, rush building, fishermen, farmers, almost the need of children do not notice such as writing books for kids later in school, Children's uniforms have been prepared or not, controlling their children in their growth and development, parents rarely follow the parents ' meeting, and always give the trust for the elderly child or Om or aunt to join the meeting between Teachers and parents, mothers are also working as laundry in some houses so sometimes if it is tired, the mothers of the Suda forget to pay attention to their children about learning, they think the children are already bisah independent or not, already Dinner or not, what else has learned or not. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to develop a sense of parental responsibility for its duties and roles, and is expected to foster knowledge and broaden parents ' horizons.Arifin suggests that the task of parents who need to be pone is, mother role as: 1. Have biological and physical needs. 2. Caring and taking care of the family patiently, in a consistent manner. 3. Educate, regulate and control the child. 4. Be examples and examples for children. Dad has a role as: 1. Father as a breadwinner. 2. Father as a husband who is full of understanding and giving security. 3. Father participated in child education. 4. As a protector or a firmly wise personage, loving the family.The research method used is a qualitative research method, the results of the study showed that the role of parents in the formal education of children studying in Taar village, Dulla Selatan District, has not undergone any changes, as it is seen from Parents ' participation in seeing their roles in supporting the child's formal education.Keyword: Parental role, Formal education

Abstract

Abstract: In this paper the authors reveal the role of Christian Religious Education in shaping the character of students in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, becoming a new "world" for human life that has a broad impact on the structure of human life, including Christian education. By looking back at the role of Christian Religious Education, this paper emphasizes that Christian Religious Education is a forum for the formation and nurturing of student character so that one day they can become individuals with Christian character who can voice God's truth amid various problems faced. Besides, this also shows part of the role of Christian Religious Education in supporting the transformation of the character of the nation's children. Teachers have a major role in education which influences through teaching and modeling. The teacher's responsibility is to help students develop their potential to the fullest. The potential of students that must be developed does not only concern intelligence and skills but also all aspects of personality. Teachers are not only required to have an understanding or ability in the field of learning and learning but also in motivating students. Christian Religious Education Teachers (PAK) play a role in teaching spiritual values and motivating their students. Abstract

The purpose of this class action study is to determine the influence of Role Playing in the activity of child learning and outcomes at SD I Haruku School. The method in this research is the method of class action research, based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of Role Playing methods can improve the activity and learning outcomes of children in the learning process. In addition, research results can also be advice as well as consideration materials for both teachers and school to create a learning atmosphere that provides a lot of space for students to engage actively at the time of study, where students are no longer Learn by simply being a listener, but through the application of a role Playing method, both teachers, students, and school parties can create active and enjoyable learning on the subject of Christian religious education.Keyword: Role Playing, student activity

Abstract

This paper is a critique of the traditional pedagogic in education using the critical pedagogic concept formulated by George. S. Counts. Critical pedagogic seeks to view the need for a new social society that can cope with various distributions and regulatory needs through education. In the educational world the teacher's role in the school is an active cultural bearer instead of teaching a passive culture. In the context of religious teachers in this regard, will deal with methods of educating that must conform to the development of science and technology. Teacher/lecturer is the creator of the learning process is required to further improve professionalism so as to create a learning society that thinks past the boundaries of kinship, thinking to create a better future. A critical pedagogic concept formulated by George. S. Counts, referred to as "the necessity of a new social order" in the context of the contemporary education are religious teachers/lecturers need to get out of the face of the slave mentality, and consciously raise strength to gain the influence of reaching for power to Can do great goals in caring for mankind, and increase the sense of global responsibility. The authors realize that the learning process based on information and communication technology in Indonesia is not optimal but religious teachers should not only stop the understanding on social facts but then on social actions that can change Social reality becomes a new social order, which is professional religious teachers in the use of information and communication technologies. Abstract

Call and service are divine mandate carried out by humans for the glory of His name. God calls to reveal His will to humans. Serving as a call means that we respond to God's salvation work in our lives by being partners with God, doing divine tasks and doing care for His church until the Lord Jesus returns. God calls generally to all people to believe in Him, but on the other hand, God also calls certain people whom He wants for the assignments He will give. In the context of Churching in HKBP, this particular call is stated through the call of the servant of the sanctifying ceremony (Partohonan). There are six ordination services in HKBP, namely: Presbyter, Church Teachers, Pastors, Evangelists, Biblevrow, and Deaconesses and each office of ordination ministers in HKBP have its own characteristics and duties.Keywords: call, service, HKBP Church
