Abstract

Slow learners are students who are slow learners and need more time than other groups of students. In general, these students have quite poor grades for all subjects because they have difficulty in capturing lessons. Therefore, appropriate methods and counseling are needed for teachers who will teach slow learner students. The purpose of this study is the extent to which the application of hand on (drill) subject teachers and counseling for class teachers, parents and Slow Learner students can change the behavior of lack of confidence and learning outcomes in Chemistry and Physics subjects. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, IQ tests and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction and data presentation. The results showed that the application of the hand on (drill) method in chemistry and physics subjects could be carried out optimally and there was an increase in understanding as well as tasks and Slow Learner student scores were quite good from before. The application of counseling for class teachers, parents and slow learner students has good results, this can be seen from slow learner students who have begun to interact with classmates, and have begun to depend less on their mothers. Abstract

Educational parenting patterns for children in interfaith marriages certainly have an impact on children's understanding of religious identity and interactions with the surrounding environment. Through a qualitative approach and interviews with parents in interfaith marriages, this research tries to understand parents' experiences in raising children in the context of religious differences. Parents in interfaith marriages face challenges in raising children. Religious differences can influence the religious education given to children, with some families choosing to provide dual religious education or following the religion that is more dominant in the family. Children experience identity confusion, have difficulty understanding religious differences, and face challenges in interacting with those around them who have different religious beliefs. The contribution of this research to the understanding of child education parenting patterns in interfaith marriages is by providing in-depth insight into the challenges faced by parents and their impact on children. The implications of this research for the education of children in interfaith marriages include the importance of open communication, inclusive approaches, and introducing children to various religions. This research provides practical guidance for parents in interfaith marriages as well as educational stakeholders to create an inclusive environment and support children's development in the context of religious differences.Keywords: parenting style, children's education, interfaith marriages, Christian religious education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the application of educational puzzle games to improve early childhood cognitive abilities in Uwen Pantai Christian Kindergarten Group B1, East Taniwel District. The method used is Classroom Action Research, through Planning, Observation, Action and Reflection. The subjects in this study were 20 children. The application was carried out up to cycle 3. Based on the results of the actions carried out in cycles I, II, and cycle III, the results in cycle I the ability to remember gets 44% results, the ability to understand gets 46% results, to apply gets 44% results, to analyze gets 44%, to evaluate gets 44% results, to create gets 44 %, and the percentage results are 44% with 20 students. In cycle II the ability to remember gets 55%, the ability to understand gets 66%, the ability to apply 53%, the analyze gets 49% results, the evaluate gets 47% results, the create gets 57% results and 55% percentage. In Cycle III the ability to remember gets 65%, to understand 75%, to apply gets 62%, to analyze gets 65% results, the evaluate gets 61%, the create gets 62%, and the percentage results are 64%. Keywords: Puzzle Games, Improving, Children's Cognitive

Abstract

Abstract: Academic achievement is often the main goal of a learning activity. SCL is one of the approaches that helps students get a better learning performance. Thus the goal to be achieved in this study is to analyze and find out how affective the SCL method is on students’ academic achievements. The experiment was done with a quantitative approach. Data collection was done through tests namely pre-test and post-test. In this study, in order to reach the objectives, it was tested through prerequisite analysis and hypothesis exams.  The result obtained were that the average score of the experimental class for the pre-test was 75.96 and 94.71 for the post-test, resulting in an increase of 18.75. which means it can be concluded there is a significant increase in students’ academic scores in the experimental class by applying the SCL approach to Christian Religion in Year 5 of Inpres Naimata Primary School. Abstract

Abstract : Research on improving pedagogical for innovation in the teaching quality of PAUD teachers needs to be examined critically in the framework of complementing previous studies whose study tends to focus on normative facts rather than empirical social facts. In line with that, this paper aims to find out how to “Improve Pedagogic Comptence for Innovation in the Teaching Quality of PAUD Teachers. This research is a type of qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of distributing instruments and interviews with instrumen being a list of written questions given to informants. Data from interviews and distribution of instruments aims to determine the pedagogical competence of PAUD teachers for teaching innovation for students. Through interview guidelines and the distribution of instruments given to 16 informants, they were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques and obtained research results which showed that of the 16 PAUD teachers, the majority did not properly understand pedagogical competencies for teaching innovation. So it can be concluded, there has been an increase in the pedagogical competence of PAUD teachers after strategic were carried out by researchers. Teachers form each school experienced improvements both from the ability to understand the characteristic of students using a number of indictors to the ability to develop them in the process of educating and teaching. Keywords: Pedagogical Competence, Teaching Innovation, PAUD Teacher

Abstract

Abstract: christian education is education that teaches about the divinity of God in a form of teaching that is given systematically and continuously in order to teach everyone by instilling good attitudes, positive values which can build the right character through teaching. Christian education is very influential the positive thing for young people is, from Christian education young people will get a sense of comfort and calm, they will be taught many things so they can be closer to God. Christian education is very useful in educating the character of young people to be better. Spirituality is a broad concept with various dimensions and perspectives marked by a feeling of attachment (connection) to something bigger than ourselves, which is accompanied by an effort to find meaning in life or can be explained as a universal and touching experience. Some individuals describe spirituality in their life experiences as a feeling of connection/transcendental which is holy and reassuring. Free association can affect a person's personality, which can be in the form of positive or negative influences. Abstract

Penelitian yang berlatar belakang Pemuda Kristen. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah para pemuda di Angkatan Muda Gereja Protestan Maluku,  Cabang Silo Ranting Satu (I). Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk membina dan menbentuk spiritual, intelektual serta iman dari Pemuda Kristen agar dapat menjadi tulang punggung gereja dalam melakukan penginjilan di saat ini bahkan melanjutkan penginjilan di masa depan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Dalam pengumpulan data dilakukan observasi dan wawancara secara mendala. Wawancara dilakukan terhadap pemuda yang ada dalam daerah pelayanan Angkatan Muda Gereja Protestan Maluku  Cabang Silo Ranting satu (I). Tempat penelitian di Jemaat GPM Silo dan difokuskan ke Angatan Muda GPM. Hasil penelitian mengagambarkan bahwa diperlukan pembinaan dan pembentukan Spiritual, intelektual serta iman dari gereja juga masyarakat agar dapat mempersiapkan pemuda menjadi tulang pungung gereja. Pemuda sebagai tulang punggung gereja berarti siap, mampu serta layak menjadi pelaku pekabaran injil di masa sekarang maupun di masa yang akan datang, melalui perkataan dan perbuatan.

Abstract

Abstract: As education focuses on spiritual aspects and Christian values, it is important to look for effective approaches in terms of the learning process that can increase student involvement in the Christian education learning process. This research aims to investigate how an experiential learning approach can be used to increase student engagement in Christian education. Thus, experimental studies to explore the impact of experiential learning approaches on student engagement in Christian education need to be conducted. So it was found that an experience-based approach in increasing student involvement in Christian education was quite effective. The implication of this research is that an experience-based learning approach has the potential to advance the field of Christian religious education by providing meaningful and relevant experiences for students. This research makes an important contribution in the context of Christian religious education by demonstrating the effectiveness of an experience-based learning approach in increasing student engagement and encouraging spiritual growth. However, further research involving a larger sample and considering variations in Christian educational contexts could provide a more comprehensive understanding of the benefits and application of this approach in the context of Christian religious education.Keywords: experiential learning approach, student involvement, Christian religious education, spiritual growth.
