Abstract

This research is motivated by business issues that show menus in star hotels in Bali are generally dominated by foreign food, while Balinese traditional food is only 5% of menu composition. One strategy to increase the popularity of Balinese traditional food can be done by increasing the loyalty of foreign tourists based on the repurchase intention. This study aims to increase the repurchase intention offoreign tourists on Balinese traditional food in star hotels using theory of relationship marketing, theory of reasoned action and theory of expectationsdisconfirmation. Based on the concept of relationship marketing can be identified two variables of relationship quality, namely satisfaction and trust that can be antecedent of repurchase intention. In the research model it is stated that trust can act as an intervening variable on the association of satisfaction and repurchase intention. The purposive sampling method was conducted on 100 foreign tourists who bought Balinese traditional food at four star hotel in Bali in 2017, and data were analyzed by SEM. The results showed satisfaction does not significantly affect the repurchase intention, but satisfaction has a significant effect on trust and trust significantly affect the repurchase intention. Thus, the trust of foreign tourists plays an important role in determining the repurchase intention on Balinese traditional food in star hotels. The results of this study have implications for studies related to relationship marketing and the practical implications for the restaurant business-of star hotel.

Abstract

As the role of Online Travel Agent is very important, the hotel should be able tomaintain good relations with the Online Travel Agent. One of the efforts madeby the hotel is to provide Allotment to Online Travel Agent that has a high levelof productivity.Nikko Bali Resort and Spa is one of the hotels that provide allotment totravel agents in order to compete to get maximum sales. Nikko Bali Resort andSpa allocates 60% allotment to be awarded to 8 Online Travel Agents in theform of Guaranteed Allotment and Regular Allotment, but not yet fully realized.Maximizing the productivity of Online Travel Agent has to be done sothat the management can take decisions in the future in terms of giving allotment,so it is known which Online Travel Agent is very potential in fulfilling allotmentprovided with promotional strategy applied

Abstract

The research aimed at knowing and analyzing the competence of English language of the students of Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Nusa Dua Bali (STPNB) who joined the internship training program in hospitality industries in Bali. To meet the research objectives, the questionnaires were delivered to 50 respondents. The other method utilized was interview to staff of tourism industries who supervised the students.The data were then analyzed quantitatively based on Likert Scale, and qualitatively on the basis of the theory and concept of English language competency. The research found out that the overall English language competence of STPNB's students who joined the internship training program was good. The specific results were that the competence ofspeaking and reading were good, while the competence of listening and writing were fair. The implication of these research findings are the English language teaching in STPNB has to provide more practice on listening and writing aspects.

Abstract

Pelaporan akuntansi sumber daya manusia (SDM) di negara berkembang seperti Indonesia merupakan konsep yang baru. SDM merupakan suatu kekayaan perusahaan yang sulit untuk diukur dalam satuan moneter. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan bidang pariwisata di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regtesi linear berganda. Sebelum model regresi digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis, terlebih dahulu dilakukan pengujian asumsi klasik. Penelitian inimenunjukkan bahwa size berpengaruh pada akuntansi sumber daya manusia. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa umur berpengaruh pada akuntansi sumber daya manusia namun berpengaruh negatif. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh pada akuntansi sumber daya manusia. Terdapat keterbatasan yang mempengaruhi hasil penelitian dan dapat dikembangkan pada penelitian selanjutnya.

Abstract

Performance Assessment (hereafter PA) is not really new, hut it is still difficult to apply. The majority of English language teachers could not design tasks and scoring rubrics of PA well. This is a gap. Based on the theoretical and practical characteristics of PA, "What possible problems might the English language teachers face in applying PA? " Therefore, this article present Assessment-related Terms, The Importance of Assessment, Why PA, what Pa, Types of PA, designing PA, Reliability and Validity of PA, Performing Standards and Scoring Rubrics. The complexity of PA needs highly dedicated teachers, high cost, wider spaceand longer time. Since PA contains long, complex procedures, an English language teacher might face problems in designing, preparing rubric of scoring/marking, interpreting the students'works, making decisions, and being objective. Teachers must be aware of the importance of personality building in relation to the application of PA.

Abstract

Hotel management style has been shown to be an important influence in the sustainability ofthe business. A refined model of hotel management was developed based on prior studies and literature reviews. The research reported in this article presents the results of an empir ical study whereby data were collected using in depth interviews to six successful star rated hotel managers in Bali and were analyzed using descriptive qualitative method analysis. A major finding of the study was that an effective management model is formed by a comprehensively hotel environment analysis considering both internal and external influences. The results of this investigation provide important implications for strategic hotel management concept and can aid hotel managers in improving their hotel performances and competitiveness.

Abstract

Hasil kajian penerapan peraturan pemerintah dibidang perpajakan, tentang penyesuaianperubahan Penghasilan TidakKena Pajak (PTKP) ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui carapenghitungan danpenetapanpajak terutang untuk tahun Pajak 2015. Mengingat dalam tahun yang sama terjadi dua kali Peraturan Pemerintah tentang perubahan PTKP, sehingga perlu pemahaman dan kecermatan oleh semua pihak baik oleh pengelola usaha. Pegawai dibidang akuntansi, dan oleh para karyawan khususnya dibidang usaha jasa, (Hotel dan Restoran) dalam menghitung dan menetapkan hutang pajak, dalam penerapan penghitungan pajak terhutang dengan ke dua peraturan tersebut secara benar dan akurat. Dapat diharapkan informasi yang diperoleh semua pihak wajib pajak menyangkut kewajiban perpajakan dalam hal menghitung, memperhitungkan, menetapkan, memungut, menyetor, dan melaporkan kewajiban perapajakannya sesuai sistem Perpajakan yang dianut Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi dan menjelaskan determinan struktur pendanaan (leverage) berdasarkanperspektif teori contracting/agency cost dan teori signaling yang menjelaskan bahwa dalam menentukan struktur pendanaan tergantung pada karakteristik perusahaan yang memerlukan dana seperti tingkat pertumbuhan perusahaan (growth opportunities), ukuran perusahaan (firm size),juga tergantung pada kondisi perubahan lingkungan (environmental changes) atau untuk memberikan sinyal kepada pasar tentang kualitas perusahaan (firm quality). Analisis regresi menemukan bahwa berdasarkan teori contracting diperoleh bahwa pertumbuhan perusahaan (growth options) berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pendanaan (leverage), semakin tinggi pertumbuhan perusahaan akan menggunakan pendanaan dari hutang menurun atau terbatas, penelitian ini tidak mendukung teori signaling yakni perusahaan tidak berusaha menunjukkan kualitasnya melalidpenentuan strukturpendanaanya demikian pula ukuran perusahaan (firm size), dan perubahan lingkungan (environmental changes) tidak berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pendanaan (leverage) terhadap perusahaan industri pariwisata.

Abstract

Tumbuhnya biro-biro perjalanan wisata baru di Bali yang menyasar pasar wisata dari Jerman menimbulkan persainganantara biro perjalanan wisata. Hal tersebut menyebabkan menurunnya jumlah wisatawan Jerman yang menggunakan biro perjalanan wisata. Secara otomatis menyebabkan turunnya intensitas pekerjaan yang diberikan oleh biro perjalanan wisata kepada pramuwisata berbahasa Jerman.Terkait dengan persoalan tersebut, implikasi pergulatan eksistensial pramicwisata berbahasa Jerman pada biro perjalanan wisata terjadi. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis permasalahan tentang implikasi pergulatan yang dilakukan oleh pramuwisata berbahasa Jerman. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori hegemoni, teori praktik sosial dan teori tindakan komiinikatif secara eklektik.Implikasi yang ditimbulkan oleh pergulatan tersebut adalah adanya keinginan untuk memacu diri dalam melakukan pekerjaan pemanduan. Selain itu, pramuwisata juga harus menambah pengetahuan bahasa Jerman maupun pengetahuan bidang pemanduan. Pergulatan eksistensialjuga berimplikasi terhadap rnakna komunikasi bagi sesama pramuwisata berbahasa Jerman, wisatawan yang dipandunya, biro perjalanan wisata, serta DPD HPI.
