Abstract

This study aims to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of a strengthening program of religious character education for students in SMP Negeri 13 Padang which is accredited A in the city of Padang, West Sumatra. The research uses qualitative methods through a case study approach. Research data sources are taken from fourteen informants consisting of school principals, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and students of class IX.8 Research data were taken through in-depth interviews with all informants. The results showed that the implementation of the program for strengthening the religious character education of students at SMP Negeri 13 Padang had four supporting factors including the existence of a student character strengthening book, the desire of students, supporting religious activities, and adequate facilities and infrastructure. While the five inhibiting factors include: environment, peers, and cellphones. self-awareness of students themselves and lack of teacher supervision.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that can affect the morals of children in the Pratama II complex, Lubuk crocodile Padang, the positive impact of smartphones on the morals of children in the Pratama II complex, Lubuk crocodile Padang and the negative impact of smartphones on the morals of children in the Pratama II complex, Lubuk crocodile Padang. The method used in this research is qualitative with the type of field research (field research). The field research approach (field research) is a research procedure in the form of written and spoken words from predetermined informants. The results of the study show that the impact of smartphones on the morals of children in the Pratama II complex in Lubuk crocodile Padang is divided into two types, including positive impacts and negative impacts. The positive impact of smartphones is that it is beneficial for children's learning, increase children's insight, knows what is not yet known, and can be in close contact for communication and search for information. While the negative impact of smartphones is being lazy and likes to play games, making them negligent, can damage the child's personality, damaged eyes and learning to be unfocused, dependence and a tendency to look at smartphones, disobedience to parents, children's morals become impolite, children will try what is seen from the smartphone without thinking about the consequences, socializing becomes less and children's sleep hours are reduced because they stay up late while playing smartphones.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the method of character education at the Islamic Boarding School of Madrasah Tarbiyah (MTI) Tabek Gadang, Guguak District. This study uses a qualitative method with the type of research field research (field research). Sources of research data are the head of the Islamic boarding school, Ustadz/Ustadzah, dormitory supervisors, and several students. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research data was tested for validity using triangulation and persistence techniques. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the values ​​of character education that are instilled are in the form of character towards God Almighty, oneself, others, the environment, and the nation by using exemplary methods, habituation, advice, and stories.

Abstract

The progress of a country does not depend on the age of the country. The progress of a country depends on a positive attitude towards life, namely integrity, responsibility, honesty, respect for regulations and other people, working hard, empathy, honesty, and discipline. The purpose of this study is that character education is an important thing that is a necessity for the Indonesian people to cultivate virtue values ​​and eliminate the negative culture that is increasingly mushrooming. Character education can be said as a subjective assessment of a person against others on mental and moral qualities or relating to personality attributes that are accepted by society. This type of research is qualitative research. Qualitative research is essentially observing people in their environment, interacting with them, and trying to understand their language and interpretation of the world around them. The results of this study found that children are a mandate entrusted by Allah SWT to their parents. Children have hearts that are still pure, clean from all patterns and colors, and are ready to be molded to be made into anything depending on the wishes of the former.

Abstract

This research focuses on fostering student morals, namely UKK (Unit Kegiatan Kerohanian). To find the form and process of implementing UKK programs. Using a research method descriptive approach, all data were using interviews with 20 informants selected using data techniques, the authors also took data through interviews, documentation, and observation. All data is then analyzed by thematic method and document analysis. The results of the study there are 7 fields, 2 divisions, and 47 work programs, the fields: Daily management board, Cadreization, Network Public, Al Qur’an, Media, Muslim Affairs, Entrepreneurship, and Secretarial Division. Implementation of UKK activities The implementation of the UNP UKK work program, the field of the Daily Management Board in the field of managing and directing all fields of organized work programs, namely, LDK Training provides training for new LDK administrators. Tasqif, discussions and ustadz the hadith the Qur'an, faith, the science of interpreting hadith and Qur'an, the history Nabi SAW.

Abstract

One of the crucial causes of moral decadence is the lack of inculcating the values ​​of moral education in children from an early age. Therefore, the role of parents is very important in shaping children's noble character, by accompanying and facilitating children's learning activities. Children's learning activities also develop with the presence of shows through the YouTube application, Syamil Dodo's YouTube channel can be used as an alternative in instilling the value of moral education in early childhood. This study aims to: analyze the values ​​of moral education for early childhood in Syamil Dodo's YouTube videos the theme of the grave nature of episode 3. The method used is a descriptive method, with the type of documentary analysis. The results of this study indicate that there are five values ​​of moral education contained in Syamil Dodo's YouTube video with the theme of the grave in episode 3, namely 1) believing in the angels Munkar and Nakir, 2) worshiping Allah SWT, 3) believing in and following the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, 4 ) maintain self-sanctity, 5) be obedient and obedient to parents.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the values of Islamic education in the novel Janji by Tere Liye. This research with a qualitative approach with the concept of content analysis research. Based on the problem formulation, this research focuses on what are the values of Islamic education contained in the novel Janji by Tere Liye. In collecting data, the hermeneutic analysis was used to research and examine the Janji novel, in order to obtain data to determine the values of Islamic education in the novel. The collected data are grouped and then described. The findings of the collected values are grouped into three main themes, namely: 1) the value of faith, 2) the value of worship, and 3) the value of morality. The results of this can be used as initial data for future researchers in examining different issues related to this context.

Abstract

This study aims to examine: 1) Implementation of religious development for students at SMAN 7 Padang through LDK activities 2) Supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of religious development for SMAN 7 Padang students through LDK activities. The method used by researchers in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at SMAN 7 Padang. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation and interviews. The data obtained from the study were then analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data validity technique used is the triangulation technique, checking the data again with a different technique so as to get valid data. The results showed that 1) The purpose of holding LDK activities was to build the spirit of youth who were active and full of knowledge, Becoming a new generation with new enthusiasm, Introducing the ROHIS organizational structure and management structure, Training the leadership of ROHIS BIRU members at SMAN 7 Padang, Training ROHIS BIRU administrators SMAN 7 Padang to be able to organize well. 2) the basis for implementing LDK activities is by using the Qur'an and Sunnah. 3) The method used is discussion, lecture and habituation. 4) The coaching materials are faith, morals and worship. 5) Supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of religious development for SMAN 7 Padang students through LDK activities. Supporting factors: student enthusiasm, good cooperation, support from various parties and adequate facilities and infrastructure. Inhibiting factors: the occurrence of the covid-19 pandemic and the lack of openness among rohis administrators.

Abstract

Parenting is a technique used by parents or caregivers to help and enhance the physical and spiritual development of children. Along with the times, there are currently many bad influences that will occur if children do not get parenting or even get the wrong parenting pattern. The purpose of this research is to describe the parenting style at the Nurul Hikmah Orphanage, Padang. This research uses a descriptive approach and qualitative research techniques. The results showed that there were two types of parenting used, namely democratic and authoritarian. Authoritarian parenting is used for elementary school students, authoritarian and democratic parenting is used for junior high school students, and democratic parenting is used for senior high school students.

Abstract

Prayer is one of the obligations of a believer to his Lord. Prayer has various virtues and wisdom in terms of religion, psychology, and social society. So, prayer is the most important worship in Islam. Basically a Muslim must make prayer a necessity and obligation, but in reality there are still many Muslims who do not pray, especially fardhu prayers. This study aims to see the frequency and awareness of students about their prayers. This study used descriptive quantitative methods, with data collection methods through questionnaires distributed to 71 students from a total population of 247 students then the data obtained were processed using the SPSS version 21 application to clearly see the frequency and awareness of the student's prayer obligations. The results of this study indicate that the prayers performed by students are classified as good, but their implementation is still negligent in terms of time. It is hoped that there will be further research to overcome students' negligence and ignorance of the meaning of prayer readings.
