Abstract

The lack of affective emphasis in learning Islamic Religious Education is one of the causes of the emergence of issues of intolerance that are very influential for society. This study aims to determine how the implementation of tolerance values ​​in Islamic religious education learning, especially in SDN 38 Lubuk Buaya Padang. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach (case study design). The research data was obtained through observation, documentation, and interviews with selected sources using purposive sampling technique, all informants were active school residents. All research results were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the forms of implementing tolerance values ​​in Islamic Religious Education learning at SDN 38 Lubuk Buaya Padang were: 1) Learning in an atmosphere of difference 2) Allowing students to pray according to their respective beliefs, 3) Allowing non-Muslim students follow the Islamic Education learning process, 4) Provide equal treatment for students regardless of background, 5) Tolerate uniform rules for non-Muslim students 6) Help each other. The results of this study can be used as initial data for future researchers in examining this problem in different contexts and issues.

Abstract

The background is the low learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education, especially in the cognitive domain at school due to the lack of activeness of students in class and shyness to ask if the material is not understood. Based on observations at SMK Negeri 1 Lintau Buo, the learning process is more teacher-centered (TCL). Therefore, new variations or modern learning methods are needed to generate activity and train students' self-confidence, as well as a place for discussion between students, as a result the Role Playing method is established to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of Role-Playing research is to find out the comparison of learning outcomes using the Role Playing learning method with the Conventional method (Lecture) on the learning outcomes of class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Lintau Buo. This type of research is pre-experimental, and the research design is randomized control group posttest only. The population in this study were all class XI SMK Negeri 1 Lintau Buo, while the samples were class XI TITL Experiment class and XI TKJ control class. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The results of data analysis showed that the average value of the experimental class was higher than the control class using the Role Playing learning method providing a significant difference, as evidenced by the hypothesis test using SPSS version 25, the data obtained was 0.00 < 0.05, where the value of Sig ( 2-tailed) < or 0.05 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. the conclusion is that there are differences in learning outcomes using the Role Playing method with conventional methods on the learning outcomes of class XI students at SMK Negeri 1 Lintau Buo.

Abstract

To achieve educational goals, it is expected that there are qualified teachers. But in fact, there are still many teachers who behave defiantly. One solution to solve this problem is to return to the books of the scholars. This research method is a qualitative method with the type of library research. The purpose of this study was to explore the competencies of Islamic Education teachers in the book Tadzkiratus Saami by Ibn Jamaah and their relevance to contemporary education. In this study, it was found that there are 5 PAI teacher competencies in his book and his thoughts are relevant to contemporary education. Through his knowledge of education, it is hoped that contemporary education can adopt and apply it.

Abstract

This study aims to examine: 1) the ability to read the Koran in grade 10 students at SMA N 13 Padang 2) the factors behind the blind reading of the Koran in grade 10 students at SMA N 13 Padang 3) the Implementation of the Iqra method in eradicating blind reading of the Koran in 10th-grade students at SMA N 13 Padang. The method used by researchers in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 13 Padang. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and interviews. The data obtained from the study were then analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data validation technique used is the triangulation technique, checking the data again with a different technique so as to get valid data. The results showed that the ability to read the Koran of grade 10 students at SMA Negeri 13 Padang was still low due to the lack of interest in reading students. The background of the lack of reading the Koran at SMA Negeri 13 Padang resulted in a lack of encouragement from parents at home. The application of the Iqra method at SMA Negeri 13 Padang is increasing by using this method.

Abstract

The implementation of Islamic religious education is important to be given to children from an early age, not only in formal or informal education, worshipping education can also be obtained from non-formal education. One of which is in the activities of the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPA), namely the fajr education program. This study aimed to find out how the implementation of worshipping education in the fajr education program of the Baitussalam Mosque's Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPA). This study used a qualitative method with the type of case study research. The sources of data were taken from five informants from the Baitussalam Mosque Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPA), namely the headmaster and four teachers through in-depth interviews using the purposive sampling technique. Overall, the conclusion of the research showed that the implementation of the fajr education activities is divided into three parts; preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities. Preliminary activities begin with reading shalawat, absent the fajr prayer in congregation, checking the presence of the fajr education operator, then submitting it to the protocol. The core activities are contained in the Baitussalam Mosque's Fajr Educational Program for the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPA), namely memorizing readipracticingtice, and delivering material by the teacher. The closing activity begins with the announcement of the group with the numerous Fajr prayers, the numerous infaq groups, the best group of the day, giving prizes to the group with the plentiful points, then ends with reading the closing prayer of the assembly and praying out of the mosque.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the implementation of affective assessment on PAI subjects in schools, especially at the junior high school level, with qualitative methods on a case study approach, data collection methods using observation and interview methods, data sources taken from informants through interviews, consisting of (representatives) head of curriculum, PAI teachers, and students) who were selected using purposive sampling, a sampling approach in which the researcher is based on his own judgment when selecting contributors from the population to participate in his research. For the validity of the data by using source triangulation techniques. In strengthening the interview, the author made observations using direct mastery techniques in the classroom. All interview information and statements were then analyzed thematically using descriptive methods. Overall, the study found 4 implementations of affective assessment in PAI subjects. The four forms of affective assessment are: i) assessment through observation is done by seeing students in action at school, PAI teachers have difficulty in assessing observations because face-to-face learning is divided per shift, PAI teachers have not been able to monitor students 100%, ii ) self-assessment is carried out by the teacher when students ask questions during learning hours, iii) assessment between friends through positive assessments of one student with another student, iv) attitude assessment journal by the PAI teacher by looking at students in class then the results of the assessment are carried out on student reports.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teachers in applying model problem-based learning to improperly moving student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education subjects. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, research data is taken through direct interviews with five informants (school principals, curriculum representatives, and two Islamic religious education teachers) and five students, who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. To strengthen the interview data, the writer made observations by being directly involved in the learning process in the classroom. All interview and observation data were then analyzed thematically using the Miles and Huberman method. Overall, The implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in Islamic Religious Education learning on the material Exemplifying the Noble Nature of the Prophet at SMPN 22 Padang has fulfilled the syntax of Problem Based Learning (PBL). Educators have carried out each stage in accordance with the book guidelines, starting from orienting, organizing, developing an issue, displaying the work and evaluating learning outcomes. In improving learning outcomes educators have three ways. First, educators must collaborate on learning models. Second, educators provide additional time in assignments. Third, educators must master the materials, models and styles of solving problems in the implementation of the learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the values of multicultural-based Islamic education in the film Upin and Ipin episodes of fasting experience, gong xi fa cai, and Deepavali. There are five values in multicultural-based Islamic education, namely tolerance, pluralism, humanism, equality, democracy, and justice. The fasting experience episode has two values, then the gong xi fa cai episode has five values while the Deepavalii episode has four values. The data analysis of this research used content analysis with a semiotic approach. The results of the research on the Upin and Ipin films of this fasting experience episode, gong xi fa cai and Deepavali contain all these values that can be used by children as examples in instilling the value of multicultural-based Islamic education as an effort to prevent the division of mankind.

Abstract

Parenting is a technique used by parents or caregivers to help and enhance the physical and spiritual development of children. Along with the times, there are currently many bad influences that will occur if children do not get parenting or even get the wrong parenting pattern. The purpose of this research is to describe the parenting style at the Nurul Hikmah Orphanage, Padang. This research uses a descriptive approach and qualitative research techniques. The results showed that there were two types of parenting used, namely democratic and authoritarian. Authoritarian parenting is used for elementary school students, authoritarian and democratic parenting is used for junior high school students, and democratic parenting is used for senior high school students.

Abstract

This study aims to find out what aspects of akhlak education are contained in the animated film "Riko The Series" by Teuku Wisnu, Arie Untung, and Yuda Wirafianto. This type of research is a maximum of qualitative research with research subjects that are directly from the animated film "Riko The Series" season two starting from episodes 1-21. The data was obtained using documentation and observation techniques. From the results of the study, it was found that aspects of akhlak education in the animated film Riko The Series season two include: 1) Aspects of akhlak education to Allah, namely being grateful, serving Allah, loving and fearing Allah, tawakal and istigfar. 2) Aspects of akhlak education among human beings, namely to oneself which consists of being patient and forgiving. 3) Aspects of akhlak education to parents. 4) Aspects of akhlak education for brothers. 5) Aspects of akhlak education towards friends. 6) Aspects of akhlak education on the environment.
