Abstract

The Arabic language serves as a global communication tool and is the principal language for 2 billion Muslims across the globe. Within Arabic, there are diverse realms of discourse and academic pursuits. One such domain is the Science of Badīʿ, a branch of Balāghah (rhetoric). A key area within the Science of Badīʿ delves into the resemblance of the final letters of two words at the conclusion of Arabic sentence structures. This resemblance, termed "sajaʿ," enhances the elegance of pronunciation, a pivotal facet of Balāghah. This research endeavors to explore this aesthetic dimension within the text of Tuḥfah Al-Aṭfāl, authored by Imam Sulaimān Al-Jamzūrī, a foundational work in Tajwid, the science of Quranic recitation. Employing a qualitative methodology with a descriptive-analytical approach, this study utilizes the Badīʿ theory as an analytical framework. The findings of this research reveal that the text of Tuḥfah Al-Aṭfāl embodies the grace of sajaʿ, which manifests in three distinct categories: muṭarraf, muraṣṣaʿ, and mutawāzī. This aesthetic quality proves invaluable for both students and educators, aiding in the memorization and comprehension of Tuḥfah Al-Aṭfāl within an educational context. Furthermore, it enriches the experience for general readers, allowing them to appreciate the beauty of its expression. Despite these insights, further research is essential to explore other dimensions of beauty present in Tuḥfah Al-Aṭfāl beyond sajaʿ. Additionally, investigating the element of sajaʿ beauty in various Arabic literary works would provide a more comprehensive understanding of its significance.

Abstract

This research stems from the broad use of AI based on Large Language Models (LLMs), which many academics find relevant and effective in higher education Arabic language learning. The goal is to confirm these views. This research is a mixed reseach that employs a both of qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The qualitative segment involves observations and literature reviews. Observations involved reviewing how participants used chatbots and carefully checking the accuracy and consistency of platform responses. The quantitative facet utilizes a paired experimental design, encompassing both classical and Bayesian Paired Sample t-Tests analysis. The research encompasses 45 individuals with a proficient understanding of Modern Standard Arabic and no hindrances in comprehending the material. These individuals are enrolled as students at Islamic College (STAI) Al-Anwar Rembang, Indonesia. The results show increased motivation and ease of use with the chatbot in Arabic language learning. However, concerns about the consistency of chatbot content have arisen, affecting participants' confidence in response accuracy of AI. This prompts an evaluation of effectiveness through classical and Bayesian tests, which fail to demonstrate statistically significant variances, even in the adaptive Bayesian probability analysis. These outcomes deviate from previous research on relevance and effectiveness and corroborate preceding studies on academic apprehensions and accuracy enhancements. The researchers advocate for further investigations, especially concerning the accuracy analysis of AI chatbots in Arabic pedagogical contexts.

The collection technique uses the documentation, observation, and record method. The results of the research show that the exclusion strategy is used in the media al Arabiya.net with 2 data and al Jazeera.net with 1 data, and the inclusion strategy is used in the media al Arabiya.net 6 models, al Jazeera.net 7 models, and okaz.com.sa as many as 5 data models. The three online media have a tendency towards groups or government agencies rather than terrorists. Abstract

The Bugis language adopted or adapted many Arabic vocabulary, especially after the spread of Islam and adopted by the Bugis community. The absorption of Arabic into the Bugis language continued to evolve with time and cultural interaction between the two groups. This study aims to obtain decryption related to the process of Arabic loanwords into Bugis language and also obtain related changes in word structure in Arabic loanwords into Bugis language. By using qualitative methods, namely research approaches used to understand and explain phenomena in depth and descriptively. The source of the data obtained through interviews with native speakers of the Bugis language. The results of this study showed that the absorption of Arabic vocabulary in the Bugis language did not experience a change in meaning. Changes in word structure indicate differences in pronunciation and vocabulary between Arabic and Bugis. This shows that the Bugis language has a different phonological and lexicon system from Arabic, and such changes can be found in the words adopted from Arabic into the Bugis language. The study of Arabic loanwords in the local Bugis culture has significant scientific contributions in the fields of linguistics, cultural studies, and anthropology. For future research, it is recommended to conduct a comparative study between the use of Arabic loanwords in the Bugis language with other regional languages in Indonesia.
