Abstract

The research aims to (1) characterize the queuing system which will be built using the multi-phase method, (2) improve the information and communication system and provide up to date information and help in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of services in the queuing process at the UPT BAPENDASU Samsat. The research method uses quantitative research. The data analysis technique uses Kolmogorov-Smirnov to check that the data is Poisson distributed. Data collection was carried out using literature studies and field studies, namely (observation, interviews and document study). The researchers obtained the results that (1) The implementation of the multi-phase method had a significant positive impact, to achieve less than 10 minutes, the value of the service rate for each phase was not much different (2) In order to increase the efficiency and quality of service at the BAPENDASU UPT Samsat, the research This research has investigated and implemented a multi-phase method to optimize the queuing process in motor vehicle tax services.

Abstract

Indonesia is included in a country that can be said to be the largest areca nut exporting country in the world with a presentation of 80%. The quality of crops is very influential on the agricultural sector and can affect the value of exports, so to maintain the quality of crops, an area nut disease detection application is designed. The purpose of this research is to present information quickly and accurately in problem solving to help detect diseases that exist in areca plants by building a Machine Learning model on the Android system using the Convolutional NEURAL Network (CNN) algorithm. Data is collected through the results of field studies and analysis of related documents to strengthen research data, so that test data is obtained as many as 10 types of diseases and 32 symptoms, image data is processed using a teachable machine. So that the test results obtained the average accuracy of the model in detecting diseases in areca nut plants is 98.7%.

Abstract

Pesticides are materials that are widely used in various sectors, especially in agriculture, plantations, forestry, fisheries, and food agriculture. The use of pesticides in the agricultural sector aims to eliminate nuisance plants, fungi, insects, rodents, and other organisms so that it has an impact on increasing agricultural production. This study aims to apply the Weighted Product (WP) method in determining the best pesticide in KUD Subur Makmur, Teluk Panji IV Village. The Weighted Product method is used because of its ability to handle many criteria relevant to the selection of pesticides, such as price, package size, type of pest eradicated and durability. Data was collected through an interview with one of the employees as well as through literature study and document analysis related to available pesticides. Each criterion is then given a weight according to its level of importance based on the results of the interview. The results show that the Weighted Product method is effective in providing optimal pesticide selection according to local needs and conditions. The implementation of this method can help in making better decisions regarding the use of pesticides, so as to increase agricultural productivity and sustainability. The impact obtained from this research is that it can increase crop yields in a sustainable manner and reduce losses due to ineffective or harmful pesticide use.

Abstract

The word cryptography comes from the Greek:krupto (hidden or secret) and grafh (writing),meaning "secret writing". In the past,cryptography could be interpreted as the scienceand art of maintaining the security of data ormessages by encoding them in a form whosemeaning could no longer be understood. In itsdevelopment, cryptography is not only meant toencrypt data or messages, but also to maintain thesecurity of data or messages. The research carriedout by researchers is a type of research anddevelopment (R&D). The R&D research method isa research method used to produce certainproducts and test the effectiveness of theseproducts. R&D is a process or steps to develop anew product or improve an existing product,which can be accounted for. At this stage,encryption and decryption testing of eachalgorithm will be carried out on text data with anumber of characters varying between 10 to 100characters and the output What will be displayedis the encryption result in the form of a ciphertextfile and the running time. The implementation ofthe RSA cryptographic algorithm was successfuland the resulting system runs according to thealgorithm used and the encrypted plaintext can bereturned to its original form.

Abstract

The Internet of Things is automation in all fields of activities and aspects of life through technology, electronic connections or digital connections across devices and fields. IoT is the latest technology trend that continues to develop and provides the latest innovations in various sectors, one of which is controlling electrical devices remotely through the internet of things. This system can help make it easier to control without the need to do it manually. With many rooms in a building, it can shorten the time so that you don't have to check the rooms one by one again. The system is implemented using NodeMCU, relay, Apple HomeKit, and Siri (voice) as the system interface. The system takes an average of 0.4 - 3.3 seconds to respond to commands from Apple HomeKit and Siri via a Wifi connection with a distance of 1-10 meters based on monitoring results, and the electrical power control and monitoring system can function properly. The length of the system's response time is not affected by distance, but rather by the network. This system accessed using Wifi is the most effective alternative compared to using longer SMS and Bluetooth with a shorter range. With the implementation of IoT technology, humans can be more effective, efficient, economical, and easy in monitoring and controlling electrical devices at home.

Abstract

A school is an institution or agency to create a means of activities for students' learning media and teaching for educators formed in an organization. One of the learning media that is developing in the future is creating brilliant creative ideas, so that it can provide motivation to students to create creative ideas. Creativity is a person's ability to create something new, either in the form of ideas or real works that are relatively different from what already exists. As for students' creative recording, it is still desktop-based. For this reason, a system needs to be developed so that it can provide information on creative students and non-creative students based on Android, in order to make it easier to manage and record students who are creative and not creative. By implementing an Android-based creative recording application for students, it is possible to optimize decision making in accordance with the provisions that have been set for processing student data for creative and non-creative students. Based on the results of system testing that has been implemented and is running optimally and can provide information about 90% of students who are creative and 10% of students who are not creative.

Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is a significant infectious disease in tropical countries, with a major public health impact. This study aims to develop a predictive model to estimate the number of dengue cases in two cities, San Juan and Iquitos, using the Random Forest and XGBoost algorithms. The dataset used is DengAI: Predicting Disease Spread, which includes various environmental and weather features such as temperature, rainfall, humidity, and vegetation index, as well as the number of dengue cases reported. The research process begins with data pre-processing to ensure data quality and suitability. After that, the predictive model was built using Random Forest and XGBoost. The model performance evaluation was carried out using Mean Absolute Error (MAE). The results showed that the XGBoost model had a better performance in predicting the number of dengue cases than the Random Forest model, with a lower MAE for both cities. The resulting predictive model can assist health authorities in planning and implementing more effective preventive measures. This study confirms the potential use of machine learning techniques in infectious disease epidemiology and provides important insights into environmental factors that influence the spread of dengue.

Abstract

This research examines opinion sentiment regarding (1) voters in the 2024 election using data analysis from the social media Twitter. (2) Using a text mining and classification approach, (1) this research extracts valuable information from tweets containing keywords related to the 2024 election. The data collection process is carried out using scraping techniques, where tweets are collected within a certain period of time to ensure complete representation. After the data is collected, (2) preprocessing is carried out to clean and prepare the text, which includes steps such as tokenaize, stopword and labeling. (1) Sentiment analysis is then used to categorize tweets into positive, negative or neutral sentiment. (2) The K-Means algorithm is used to collect opinion data to help identify patterns and trends in public perception of political candidates and issues. (1) Analysis results shows that there is a significant distribution of opinions between different candidates and issues, thus revealing the complex dynamics of public opinion. (2)These results provide policymakers, political candidates, and researchers with an in-depth understanding of how public opinion is formed and how it can be influenced during election campaigns. Additionally, this research highlights the great potential of applying text mining technologies and algorithms

Abstract

This research focuses on the development of Web INDUC to support MSMEs in Tuban. Web INDUC is designed to increase the visibility of MSME products, facilitate transactions, and improve communication between MSMEs and customers. Although there are challenges such as development costs and infrastructure needs, this research uses a qualitative approach to solve these problems. The application development process involved the stages of requirement analysis, design, creation, and testing. System implementation was done using HTML, PHP, Bootstrap, MySQL. The results include features such as home page, product details, cart, and checkout. This research is expected to help the development of MSMEs in Tuban and improve their performance through an effective and efficient website.

Abstract

This research utilizes computer technology and software as effective learning media. The Bubble Sort algorithm was chosen because it is simple but effective in sorting data. Using Flowgorithm as a visualization tool makes it easier to understand the algorithm and ensures correct implementation. The research methodology includes literature study, analysis of data sorting characteristics, and application of algorithms in Flowgorithm. The results show that Bubble Sort succeeded in sorting the data correctly according to ascending order, confirming the usefulness of the Flowgorithm application in learning algorithms and programming.
