Abstract

Toko Rasio Kopi, which sells specialty coffee products, does not yet have a specific sales and customer service strategy. Sales are made through promotions on Instagram, however, promotions are limited and information is only shared verbally. The design of the E-Commerce information system was built using the PHP programming language. The design of this web-based information system is able to assist in terms of reporting sales transaction data, ordering goods, and invoices for consumer purchases. By using E-commerce sales, the data storage process becomes more accurate, the promotion process can be faster so that the response to sales will be faster too.Rasio coffee shop sales information system can provide the latest product information, discounts, and other promotions with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) techniques. Customers can easily purchase products online by using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) on the sales information system at the ratio store.

Abstract

Information is a result of data processing, which is in the form of output that can be useful for people who need information in determining further decisions. The system is something that works together as a unit and depends on each other in order to achieve predetermined goals in a particular business. Model Driven Architecture (MDA) is an application development mechanism without using coding. STMIK Methodist Binjai is one of the universities in Binjai, which participates in conducting performance appraisals of lecturers. The lecturer performance information system at STMIK Methodist Binjai can make it easier for the campus to assess lecturer performance. With this application, the UPM can make it easier to monitor lecturers every semester, make it easier for lecturers to report lecturer performance periodically every semester and help the Campus.

This research explores the transformative impact of Internet of Things (IoT) technology on learning environments, focusing on the development of a Smart School at SMA Negeri II Binjai. The study aims to investigate the integration of IoT technology to enhance educational practices, improve efficiency, and create an innovative and dynamic learning atmosphere. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The design includes the development of a comprehensive IoT system tailored for educational settings, considering both hardware and software components. Implementation strategies involve stakeholder engagement, training sessions, and pilot testing to ensure a smooth transition. Evaluation methods encompass performance testing, usability testing, and security testing to guarantee system reliability. Abstract

In the current digital era, photography companies still rely on manual task assignments to manage their daily operations. This process involves the use of physical notes, spreadsheets, and face-to-face communication to assign and monitor tasks for team members. Photographers, editors, and other staff receive instructions verbally or through text messages, often leading to ambiguity regarding priorities and deadlines. Project management aspects such as scheduling, resource allocation, and overall photography project assignments tend to lack structure. This research proposes the use of a notification-based workflow management system to address these challenges. By automating task assignments, monitoring, and team coordination through real-time notifications, photography companies can improve operational efficiency and enhance team productivity. This study provides insights into how technology integration can enhance photography project management and contribute to the development of more structured and efficient systems in the future.

Abstract

The educational application of LPG leakage is an innovative solution designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of gas leakage in LPG devices Therefore, it is important for LPG device users requipment to understand the signs of a gas leakage, the actions should be taken, and the preventive steps that can be taken to reduce the risk of accidents and fires. This application provides information that is easy to understand with features for safe handling, tube installation, safety tips along with video tutorials and notifications when there is an LPG gas leakage. With this application, LPG device users will be able to increase their awareness and knowledge about gas leakage. This application can provide ongoing education about the importance of safety maintenance and proper prevention of gas leakage for users, so that can be reduce the risk of serious accidents.

Abstract

The Decision Support System (DSS) with the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is an effective approach for measuring the level of passenger satisfaction at the Tanjung Balai Asahan Port International Terminal. The AHP method helps in identifying and evaluating various factors that influence passenger satisfaction, such as facilities, security, cleanliness, and service efficiency. By using AHP, the priority ranking of these criteria can be carried out based on opinions and assessments from passengers. It is hoped that the results of this SPK can provide valuable input for terminal managers to improve service quality, to create a more satisfying experience for passengers. This research discusses a decision support system that uses the Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP) method to assess the level of passenger satisfaction at the Tanjung Balai Asahan Port International Terminal. Passenger satisfaction is a crucial factor in terminal operations, and measuring passenger satisfaction requires a systematic approach. This research conducted a direct survey of passengers with questions regarding their experiences while using transportation services. This survey can be carried out through interviews, and questionnaires. In this research, a scale or index is used to measure customer satisfaction. This index can combine various factors such as service, facilities, timeliness, and comfort. On operational data such as timeliness, number of complaints, level of delays, and incidents. This data can provide an indirect picture of passenger satisfaction.

Abstract

Using Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) method as an approach to identify the characteristics of coffee beans. CBR is a method that uses knowledge from past cases to solve new problems by finding similar cases based on them and applying the same solution. This database is used to match existing coffee bean standards with future identified coffee bean characteristics. Two types of coffee beans, Arabica and Robusta, are used as case studies to identify new coffee beans. A program will be developed to implement the system using Matlab application as the system design. Arabica coffee bean varieties were found to be the most similar with a value of 0.66% for case A. The calculation result of case B shows that the most similar Robusta coffee bean variety has a similarity of 1%. The identification results have their own coffee bean variety suitability values for each case. As a result, the program created allows even laypeople to easily identify the type of coffee beans.

Abstract

PT Sinergi Prima Enjineering, which is engaged in services, has been trusted as a contractor in several companies facing challenges in handling the large number of requests for goods and stock inventory management. This research aims to improve the prediction of demand for goods and inventory management using the calculation of the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method and RapidMiner tools. With the comparison of calculations between KNN and RapidMiner using ten test data, the results are appropriate where the categorical grouping is often ordered totaling five data, moderately ordered totaling two data and rarely ordered totaling three data. The test results show that K = 3 produces a prediction accuracy of 91.98%. These results show that K-Nearest Neighbor can accurately anticipate future stock inventory and items that will be ordered by customers and it is hoped that the company can improve customer satisfaction and overall operational performance.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the performance of the K-Means algorithm concerning the intensity of use of the Natural Sciences (IPA) laboratory and its impact on students' science skills. The study utilizes data on the intensity of science laboratory use and the results of science skills tests from a group of students. The analysis leverages the K-Means algorithm's ability to cluster students based on their laboratory use patterns and determine qualifications based on their science skills. The performance metrics employed in this study include evaluating cluster suitability and conducting correlation analysis between science laboratory use patterns and students' science skills. Therefore, the research focuses on demonstrating how the K-Means algorithm can effectively group data on the intensity of science laboratory use and its correlation with students' science skills.

Abstract

The research was carried out with the aim of making it easier for companies to record and make depreciation reports on factory machines by utilizing existing information systems, to apply the service hours and production unit method in determining depreciation reports on factory machines in companies, to carry out analysis of depreciation data on factory machines in companies, to design and build a system for calculating depreciation of factory machines using the service hour method and the production unit method and to implement a comparison of the service hour method and the production unit method in the factory machine depreciation system. The problem faced by the company is that there is no application program for calculating depreciation on factory machines every month, so it takes quite a long time to determine the amount of depreciation on factory machines and the accumulated depreciation of factory machines every month and the reports obtained are less effective and less efficient. And in determining depreciation of processing factory machines, a special method has not been used to calculate depreciation of factory machines. The company still has many weaknesses, including recording errors, calculation errors, and also the process of making reports which takes a relatively long time.
