Abstract

This research addresses the challenges in aquaculture, specifically in the cultivation of Tilapia in brackish water. The study focuses on enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of sorting and counting fish fry, a factor that significantly influences the profitability of cultivators. An automated sorting and counting system is proposed, capable of categorizing Tilapia fry based on their quantity, size, and gender. This system employs sensors and a microcontroller, such as Arduino, to process the gathered information and control the sorting mechanism. The sorted and counted fry are subsequently separated into different compartments for easy collection and further cultivation. The data collected by the system can be displayed on an LCD screen or stored for future analysis and planning. This research represents a significant advancement in aquaculture technology, potentially leading to increased profitability and sustainability in Tilapia farming. Further research and development are required to refine the system and ensure its effectiveness and reliability under various cultivation conditions.

Abstract

This article explores the importance of professional ethics in the context of the modern world of work. The aim of the research is to investigate the awareness and understanding of professional ethics among professionals and to evaluate its influence on individual performance and the organizational work environment. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, involving in-depth interviews, participant observation and document analysis. The research ethics results show that awareness of professional influences decision making and daily behavior in the workplace, while consistent application of professional ethics contributes to improving performance and strengthening the company's reputation. Challenges faced include pressure to achieve business targets, lack of management support, and a competitive external environment. In conclusion, professional ethics are not only important for maintaining individual integrity, but also play a crucial role in creating a productive and ethical work environment and building a strong reputation for the organization.

Abstract

Information technology crime, or cybercrime, has become a serious threat as technology develops and reliance on the internet increases. These crimes include various illegal acts such as data theft, privacy violations, and attacks on systems. To deal with these threats requires in-depth understanding and mitigation measures that include cybersecurity training, updated security policies, and the use of advanced technology. Cooperation between the public and private sectors is also important in building an effective defense strategy. Education and training in cybersecurity must be improved to prepare future generations to face these digital challenges.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the conflict between professional ethics and data privacy in the digital era by understanding the perspectives of professionals, analyzing awareness of ethical issues and compliance with privacy regulations, and identifying solutions that can overcome the ethical dilemmas that arise. This research uses a mixed approach (mixed methods) which combines qualitative and quantitative approaches. Findings from in-depth interviews show that professionals are often faced with ethical dilemmas in data management, where business interests often conflict with protecting individual privacy. Awareness of ethical issues and compliance with privacy regulations varies among organizations, with a tendency to prioritize business profits over user privacy. Massive data analysis shows that inadequate data management practices can negatively impact a company's reputation and public trust. Additionally, factors such as rapid changes in technology and regulations, trust and reputation, cooperation between the public and private sectors, and human rights also play an important role in these conflicts

Abstract

Current advances in information technology have provided great benefits in the business world, be it selling goods or renting services. Information technology makes it possible to process data quickly and easily so that when presenting reports the required information can be obtained precisely and efficiently. The aim of creating this system is to overcome the problem where in the service process the service user has to go to the agency, so that the process becomes inefficient and takes time. The system design was carried out using a modeling language using UML. Meanwhile, the programming used was PHP using a MySQL database. The final result of this design produces a web-based animal sample testing information system for the Medan Veterinary Center which is expected to make it easier for internet users to provide or obtain information about the Medan Veterinary Center and the procedures carried out.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze public sentiment towards Starlink through tweets collected using the hashtag "starlink." The data crawling process was successful in collecting 1888 tweets. However, upon checking and processing the data, we reduced the number of valid and relevant tweets to 416. This reduction occurred due to duplicate data and the use of common keywords. We performed sentiment classification using the Naive Bayes model, yielding the following sentiment distribution: We classified 287 tweets (68.99%) as positive, 112 tweets (26.92%) as neutral, and 17 tweets (4.09%) as negative. The model performance evaluation shows good results with a recall of 0.80, precision of 0.90, F1 score of 0.83, and accuracy score of 0.80. The results of this study indicate that the majority of tweets related to Starlink have positive sentiments, indicating a generally favorable public perception of the service. A small proportion of tweets showed neutral and negative sentiments, which can provide valuable input for service improvement. The Naive Bayes model is able to classify sentiment with fairly high accuracy, making it one of the most effective tools for sentiment analysis.

Abstract

This research focuses on modeling and simulating temperature and pressure parameter settings in geothermal power plants using MATLAB software. Geothermal power plants utilize geothermal heat as an energy source to produce electricity, so controlling temperature and pressure parameters is a key factor in optimizing system performance. The method used in this research includes developing a mathematical model of a geothermal power generation system, followed by numerical simulations to evaluate the dynamic response to variations in operational parameters. Simulation results show that proper regulation of temperature and pressure can increase plant efficiency and operational stability. In addition, this study also explores the influence of various parameter setting scenarios on the power output and energy consumption of the system. Implementation of the model in MATLAB makes it easy to visualize and analyze data, and allows real-time simulations needed for fast and accurate decision making. In conclusion, this research succeeded in showing that modeling and simulation using MATLAB is an effective tool for optimizing temperature and pressure parameter settings in geothermal power plants, which in turn can increase overall system efficiency and reliability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membandingkan efektivitas pembelajaran hidrosfer dengan metode konvensionaldan pendekatan digital menggunakan virtual reality (VR). Penelitian ini mengevaluasi dampakkedua metode tersebut terhadap pemahaman konseptual siswa, motivasi belajar, dan retensipengetahuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan VR untuk pembelajaranhidrosfer secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman dan motivasi siswa dibandingkandengan metode konvensional.

Abstract

Savings and loan cooperatives play an important role in providing financial access for the community. One of the main challenges faced is determining a customer's eligibility to receive a loan. This research aims to apply the Decision Tree classification algorithm in predicting the feasibility of providing loans to Maju Mandiri Savings and Loans Cooperative customers. The data used in this research includes various relevant financial variables. It is hoped that the findings of this research will help the Maju Mandiri Savings and Loans Cooperative in improving the efficiency and accuracy of the customer eligibility assessment process. In this way, cooperatives can reduce the risk of bad credit and improve the welfare of their members. This research also contributes to the academic literature by demonstrating the practical application of Decision Tree algorithms in the financial sector.
