This research was conducted with the aim of determining the influence of learning motivation of class VII students at SMP Al - Furqon before and after implementing the problem based learning model. The research method used was pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design and used a quantitative research approach. . The subject of this research was class VII A of Al-Furqon Middle School. The research instruments used were pre-questionnaires and post-questionnaires as well as test results as supporting data. The questionnaire instrument is in the form of statements regarding pre-questionnaire and post-questionnaire learning motivation to measure students' learning motivation before and after implementing the problem based learning model assisted by ethnomathematics learning media which is supported by student test results. The data analysis technique used is hypothesis testing. However, before carrying out a hypothesis test, the data obtained must first be tested for normality. Based on the calculation of the paired sample t test using IBM statistics 29 which shows that the significance value is 0.001. The significance value shows 0.001 < 0.05 error level, so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted. Acceptance of this Ha means that there is an influence of the problem based learning model assisted by ethnomathematics learning media on social arithmetic material on students' learning motivation.

This research aims to develop and test a test instrument based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in the form of multiple choice questions, as well as analyzing students' higher order thinking abilities and their responses to this instrument. The method used is Research & Development with the Rudi Hari Rayanto and Sugiati development model using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) approach. The research subjects were 20 students of class XI MIPA at MA Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang. The validation results show an average validation rate of 90%, indicating a good match rate. Of the 40 questions developed, all were declared feasible with a calculated r value > r table (0.3291) and a reliability of 1.00 > 0.75, indicating high reliability of the questions. The difficulty of the questions is medium average, with 8 questions having a high level of difficulty. Question distractors were also effective, with the number of students choosing the answer option exceeding 5% of the total number of students. The trial results showed that students' high-level thinking abilities were at medium criteria, and students' responses to this instrument reached 80%, indicating a positive response to its use in learning. Thus, it can be concluded that the test instrument developed is suitable for use in a learning context, contributing to the good measurement of students' higher-level thinking abilities.

Students' learning styles are considered very important for the learning process and results learning, besides that, teachers also have an important role in implementing the learning process to students who have adapted to their learning styles. From the research that has been done The aim was to identify and analyze the learning styles of phase E students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Jombang. In this research This is called descriptive research. This research was carried out by interviewing teachers and then providing information questionnaire/questionnaire to students, which is the questionnaire contains several statements that have been adapted to learning style theory, namely visual, kinesthetic and auditory. In this study there were 47 students who filled out the questionnaire and The results obtained were that of the 47 students, 12 of them had different learning styles visual, 16 of them have an auditory learning style, and 16 students have a learning style kinesthetic learning, apart from that, there were also 3 students who had more than one learning style, namely visual and kinesthetic and 1 student had the visual auditory kinesthetic learning style at the same time. It can be seen that the kinesthetic learning style dominates the learning style other. Because basically, students have characteristic ways of receiving more than one piece of information, but still only one way will stand out more in each student. Based on these results, it is stated that the way of learning that each person has Students will of course be different.

The population of this study includes all class IX students of SMPN 1 Kunjang for the 2023/2024 academic year. Meanwhile, sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique and it was found that the research sample classes were students from classes IX-F and IX-G, consisting of 72 students with 36 students in each class. Data collection techniques were carried out using objective tests in the form of pretest and posttest assessments and non-tests in the form of self-confidence questionnaires, observations and interviews. Researchers used Levene's Test. In this study, the hypothesis test used was comparative using SPSS 26.00 for Windows to calculate the t test for two independent samples (Independent-samples t-test) and two interconnected samples (Paired-samples t-test). the application of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model is able to increase students' self-confidence in PAI subjects in class IX at SMP Negeri 1 Kunjang.

Education is very important for developing the potential of human resources (HR) through high-quality teaching activities by maximizing discovery learning models that can be used as a bridge to encourage changes in teaching and learning activities more effectively because this learning requires students to be able to construct their knowledge with their experiences so that students can build their knowledge through discovery in learning experiences by interacting directly with objects and phenomena that exist around their environment. This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes on waste material by applying the discovery learning model for class X SMKN 1 Jombang. The research method used was quasi-experimental research or quasi-experimental research with data collection techniques in the form of test instruments (pretest and posttest) which were tested using a paired sample t-test (t-test) using SPSS. The results showed that the paired sample t-test statistical test (t-test) showed that the sig (2-tailed) value was 0.005, so it could be concluded that there was a significant difference between learning outcomes in the pretest and post-test data in class X students of SMKN 1 Jombang. In general, the average pretest score for class X students was 82.193 and the score increased by 14.167 with a posttest score of 96.36. A high post-test score for students could indicate that the learning process was going well.
