Abstract

In the world of agriculture and plantations, we often hear the term polybag as a planting medium, especially in nurseries and planting in polybags to save agricultural land. The selection of polybags as planting containers for cultivation is influenced by several factors, such as low prices, rust resistance, durability, light weight, uniform shape, not getting dirty quickly and easy to obtain at agricultural supply stores or plastic stores. In addition, polybags are very good for drainage, aeration so that plants can thrive like in the field. Determining the size of polybags that are suitable for plant growth is expected to increase productivity and efficiency in the use of media and nutrients. On the other hand, the cultivation of healthy and fresh organic vegetables has a positive impact on the surrounding environment which is increasingly beautiful and healthy. This Community Service activity involved KWT women in the Tumenggungan area, including women from RT07 Dusun Karangtengah. The women of KWT RT07 Dusun Karangtengah will later gain practical knowledge about organic vegetable cultivation that can be applied in the future.

Abstract

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has affected all aspects of the economy, social, and education. Education is the most highlighted thing, because the teaching and learning system that should be done face-to-face must be done online or online according to government policy. The government policy requires every student to have a mobile phone to be able to take part in online learning (in the network). During the COVID-19 pandemic, teaching and learning activities at MTs Ma'arif Bakalan were carried out online or online, so students were sent home. Within a period of 2 (two) months online teaching and learning activities at MTs Ma'arif Bakalan caused as many as 12 (twelve) students at MTs Ma'arif Bakalan to drop out of school. Through this article, we will examine in depth the causes or other things related to the impact of online learning on school dropouts at MTs Ma'arif Bakalan.

Abstract

The digital era has brought various good changes as a positive impact that can be used as well as possible. But at the same time, the digital era also brings many negative impacts, so that it becomes a new challenge in human life in this digital era. Challenges in the digital era have also entered various fields such as politics, economy, socio-culture, defense, security, and information technology itself. Apart from the notion of method, of course in carrying out research using descriptive research methods with a qualitative approach. A research procedure in which descriptive data is presented in some written or spoken words from observable people or actors. In qualitative research the data collected is not numbers, but in the form of words or arguments. The data in question comes from interviews, field notes, and others. For business actors or the trading sector, digitalization is considered very important to minimize operational costs and to reach more consumption. People become more aware of how to operate the internet to make it easier to access additional information related to lessons or just to add insight. Facilitate costs and time in public services so that public services to the community become faster. Technology in the digitalization era is marked by the increasingly massive penetration of social media in various aspects of economic, political, cultural and defense and security life. This change is a consequence of changing communication patterns towards digitizing communication using contemporary social media channels. Therefore, technology training is very important so as not to be left behind by the current development of the times.

Abstract

Stunting is a problem that still haunts children in Indonesia. To produce healthy and intelligent children in Indonesia, the most important first step to take is the fulfilment of nutrition in children from an early age. This research is an observational study, with a cross-sectional design using a qualitative approach in Karangduwur village, Kalikajar district, Wonosobo regency. Data are collected by means of interview with parents whose children show signs of stunting. The result reveals that three factors contribute in parenting style. They are related to feeding system, social economic, and education. Proper education on stunting changes people’s mindset and parenting to eliminate future cases.

Abstract

Kemiskinan ekstrem memang menjadi suatu permasalahan yang sedang gencar diperbincangkan dikalangan pemerintahan daerah, hal tersebut sebetulnya terjadi bukan semata-mata sebab keadaan suatu daerah pedesaan yang mengalami kemiskinan. Melainkan pada tingkat pekerjaan warga masyarakat yang belum menetap, kondisi social pendidikan yang masih belum sesuai dengan yang ditetapkan pemerintah, dan pemanfaatan sumber daya alam yang ada secara belum maksimal. Singkong sendiri merupakan salah satu hasil sumber daya alam yang diolah dan bahkan menjadi salah satu sumber mata pencaharian orang di derah Derongisor sebagai bahan baku membuat pati. Banyak warga masyarakat di daerah Derongisor ini menanam tanaman singkong sebagai bahan baku pembuatan pati. Namun terkadang ketika masa panen belum tiba, bahan baku singkong masyarakat dapat melalui tengkulak didaerah-daerah sekitar guna memenuhi kebutuhan bahan baku pembuatan pzti supaya kegiatan produksi bisa tetap berjalan.

Abstract

Larangankulon is a village located in Mojotengah sub-district, Wonosobo district, Central Java, Indonesia. The geographical location of Larangankulon Village is in the Northeast of Wonosobo Regency. To the north it is bordered by Kleyang Jurang Village, to the south by Kejiwan Village, to the west by Bumiroso Village, and to the east by Sukorejo Village. The center of village government activities is in the middle of the Larangankulon Village area. Road access to Larangankulon Village is very easy with the support of easy transportation facilities. Larangankulon Village is 6 km from the district capital, with an area of ​​0.91 km2 Larangankulon Village. or 2.02% of the total area of ​​Mojotengah District, this village consists of 4 hamlets consisting of 11 RT and 5 RW. Medicinal plants must be produced naturally or environmentally friendly, must be free from chemicals so that their cultivation must be organic. Medicinal plants are more efficacious when used fresh. To avoid the negative impact of the use of medicinal plants for disease sufferers, the selection of types and materials of medicinal plants must be properly and correctly according to the indications of the disease. The problems faced are: 1) there is still a lack of extensive use of fertile land by the community 2). Cultivating and utilizing existing local potential, 3) limited Knowledge & Skills, 4) Natural vegetation, 5) lack of skills possessed by out of school girls. Based on this basis, it was agreed to implement the TOGA Educational Park. The purpose of the activity is to utilize the potential of the Toga plant which will fill, fill most of the remaining land/home fencing which will become a living pharmacy with very large benefits and its designation is to fulfill preventive (prevention), promotive (health promotion) and curative (treatment) efforts. utilizing part of the land to be planted with toga plants which are efficacious as traditional medicine that can be used to treat various diseases, it has a very large utility if it can be used as a living pharmacy by utilizing a piece of leftover land in the yard of the house, with this KPM activity, it is expected can increase the degree of healthy living and people's income will increase. Herbal medicine must be produced naturally or environmentally friendly, must be free from chemicals so that its cultivation must be organic. Medicinal plants are more efficacious when used fresh. So if planted in the yard of the house besides functioning as a garden, medicinal plants can also be a source of oxygen and a source of food. To avoid the negative consequences of using medicinal plants for people with disease, the selection of types and materials of medicinal plants must be properly and correctly according to the indications of the disease. The methods used are training, mentoring, lectures, practice and demonstrations. This KPM activity also involves partner institutions of the Larangankulon Village PKK group, the Larangankulon Village Community. The number of students involved is 10 people. Abstract

MSME development in the use of natural resources to support the family economy. The existing problem is the lack of understanding and knowledge of MSME actors related to agricultural product innovation so that sales of agricultural products are still at standard prices. The purpose of this community service is to help change the mindset of the community in selling agricultural products so that they can increase the selling price so that they can support the family economy and reduce poverty. Using a participatory approach by involving the community in the process. The results of this service activity are in the form of providing counseling and a forum for product innovation results through competitions as a means of developing MSMEs. Then proceed with giving directions regarding product packaging and product marketing. Product innovations produced by MSME actors should be maintained and can be followed up so that they can be effective in supporting the development of MSMEs and can increase the selling price of products and can support the family economy

Abstract

One of the problems that exist in the community of Ropoh Village, Kepil District, Wonosobo Regency is the lack of public awareness of the importance of education. One of the programs implemented in Ropoh Village is the Learning House. The purpose of holding the Learning House program is to create public awareness of the importance of science, to create quality, character, creative and innovative human resources, to encourage and motivate children to be enthusiastic about learning and achieving achievements. The result of this Learning House program is that the children are enthusiastic in participating in these activities. In addition, the Learning House program can also help students who have difficulty in working on the practice questions given during learning activities at school.

Abstract

This industrial internship aims to provide students with experience so that they can implement what they have learned in the Business Administration Study Program to real activities in the business world. This activity is useful to increase knowledge on how to run a business. Starting from the selection of product materials, selecting the target market, how to do promotions that attract the attention of the target market, and knowing how to serve consumers well or deal with consumers who complain. The implementation method is carried out online at an online business for women’s tops “Marasoe”. The results obtained from this industrial internship are useful knowledge for students. As for the company, getting clothing design references for future production, clothing design references made by students were sold out, thus increasing customer interest in Marasoe, getting help with content ideas, getting help in replyinig to incoming messages, and getting a significant increase in Instagram followers.

Abstract

The quality of teachers is a problem faced in the world of education. Quality teachers can be achieved when teacher professionalism is formed. Professional teachers are teachers who have a number of competencies, namely: pedagogic, personality, social, and professional competencies. One way to improve teacher quality is to ensure that teachers reflect and make continuous improvement through classroom action research training. This service aims to deepen the knowledge and appreciation of prospective teachers about how to think and work collaboratively in solving problems in the classroom and to train skills in conducting classroom action research. Activities are carried out using Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) and Community Empowerment (CE) approaches using extension methods (lectures and discussions), practice, and mentoring. The results of the service implementation activities showed a very enthusiastic response for prospective teacher alumni where they wanted this kind of activity to be carried out regularly and if possible in a larger scope. From the results of the analysis of the results of the pre-test, it was revealed that the knowledge of the Alumni about CAR was not complete and still mixed with the type of quasi-experimental research. On the other hand, it was also revealed that knowledge about the instruments and observers in CAR was still minimal. After being given a detailed explanation by 5 presenters, they understood it, where almost 100% of the participants had correctly answered questions about CAR.
