Abstract

As technology advances and energy demand increases, a thorough understanding of the various types of drilling platforms and systems is becoming increasingly important, especially for students pursuing engineering, energy, or environmental sciences. This knowledge will not only aid in understanding complex industrial processes but also prepare them to address the challenges and opportunities present in the oil and gas sector. By understanding various types of drilling platforms and systems, students are expected to be able to explain the characteristics, advantages, and disadvantages of each type, as well as the factors influencing the selection of the appropriate platform and system for specific conditions. This research is expected to be a useful source of information and support the development of student competencies in their fields, enabling them to contribute effectively to the oil and gas industry in the future. Abstract

The hoisting system equipment course aims to provide participants with an indepth understanding of the operating principles, components, and safety aspects of hoisting equipment in the oil and gas, construction, and manufacturing industries. Through practical learning, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the components, functions, and operating principles of hoisting systems. The importance of hoisting system knowledge in oil and gas drilling is that participants become familiar with the main components of hoisting system equipment, the function of each component, and the operating principles of hoisting systems in field operations. The type of research used in this practicum is classroom action research. The implementation phase includes preparing tools and materials, introducing and understanding the object, conducting observations and making rough sketches, and creating narratives based on direct observations and literature review. By studying the operating principles ofhoisting systems, students gain a clear understanding of their crucial role in the oil and gas drilling industry and the construction sector.

Abstract

Waste management in traditional markets is a major challenge in the context of urbanization and environmental sustainability. This study aims to analyze the sustainability index of waste management in Pasar Kebayoran Lama, Jakarta, using a three-dimensional approach: ecological, social, and economic. The methods used are literature study and assessment simulation based on indicators relevant to national policies, such as Law No. 18 Year 2008. The analysis showed that the overall sustainability index score was 1.5, indicating unsustainable conditions. The ecological aspect scored 1.3, social 1.6, and economic 1.6, reflecting the low effectiveness of waste management, lack of community participation, and not optimal waste-based economic empowerment. The proposed action plan includes increased education, waste segregation and recycling, and the development of a circular economy model. This study recommends cross-sector collaboration and continuous monitoring to realize a more ethical, efficient, and sustainable market waste management.

Abstract

A prediction system for determining the number of student visits is one way to determine the priorities and the number of students interested in literacy culture each year. Creating a prediction system requires a robust calculation method, which is why a prediction system is needed. This prediction system uses the Least Squares method. Based on the research conducted, the system can implement the Least Squares method to predict students studying and using library facilities. This helps library administrators prepare the necessary needs for students who wish to study in the library.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has transformed the landscape of language education, including the learning of Indonesian forForeign Speakers (BIPA). This study aims to analyze the perceptions andexperiences of BIPA learners in using AI-based platforms as a medium for selfdirected learning in the digital era. Data’s were collected through interviews,participant observation, and open-ended questionnaires with respondents fromvarious countries. The findings indicate that the use of AI platforms providessignificant benefits in terms of learning time flexibility, instant feedback ongrammar and pronunciation, and increased motivation through gamification.However, several challenges were also identified, such as the limitations of AI inunderstanding complex cultural contexts, interactions that feel less human, andthe potential for technology anxiety among some learners. This study concludesthat while AI platforms are highly potential tools, their role is more optimal as asupplement to support teaching by human instructors, rather than as a completereplacement.

Abstract

This study presents the design and implementation of an Internet of Things (IoT)–based monitoring and control system using an ESP32 microcontroller. The system is developed to monitor environmental conditions through a DHT22 sensor for air temperature and humidity measurement, as well as a pH sensor to determine the acidity level of the medium. Sensor data are transmitted to a web-based application and displayed in real time in the form of numerical values and graphical representations to facilitate user observation. In addition to monitoring functions, the system incorporates relay-based control to operate a fan and an aerator in both manual and automatic modes. System testing was conducted to evaluate the performance of sensor data acquisition and the execution of control commands. The test results indicate that the system is able to reliably read sensor data and perform control operations as intended. This system is expected to serve as a learning platform for understanding basic IoT implementation and simple control systems in agricultural applications.

Abstract

This research aimed to provide an overview of the variation in grain size sorting in beach sediment materials in the Manggar area and its surroundings. The research employed a Comparative analysis of rocks. The methodology applied was descriptive analytical, combining primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through field observations and direct testing using sieve tests with various sand grain sizes on the research objects. At the same time, secondary data was collected from literature studies sourced from journals related to grain size. This method was applied to obtain a comprehensive overview of the research object and answer the objectives that had been set. The deposits along the beach of the Manggar area were unconsolidated sediments, indicating variations in grain size in the sand fraction. Through this research, researcher aim to support development of student competence in sedimentology.

Abstract

ESP as an artificial lift system plays an important role in optimizing oil production; therefore, an evaluation and optimization were conducted on Well PR-07, AB Field to assess pump performance and determine the optimum production rate. The analysis was carried out using the Vogel method on the Inflow Performance Relationship (IPR) curve, resulting in a maximum production rate (Qmax) of 2,441.79 BFPD and an optimum production rate (Qo) of 1,953.43 BFPD. Current well conditions show a water cut of 82%, resulting in an oil flow rate of only about 202 BOPD. The pump applied is 134-400 CENTURION FLEX 17-5SXD with 52 stages, which is still suitable in terms of capacity. However, the high water content is the main limiting factor for oil production, so optimization efforts are focused on determining the optimum flow rate, controlling water cut, and monitoring ESP performance to maintain operational reliability and improve production efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of 3% fracseal addition on the rheological properties and filtration characteristics of drilling mud at temperatures of 80°F, 130°F, and 180°F. The research was conducted experimentally through laboratory testing of plastic viscosity, yield point, gel strength at 10 seconds and 10 minutes, and filtration loss based on API RP 13B-1 standards. The results indicate that standard drilling mud experienced rheological degradation with increasing temperature, characterized by reduced plastic viscosity, excessive gel strength, and increased filtration loss. In contrast, the addition of fracseal improved rheological stability, increased yield point, and reduced filtration loss up to 180°F. These findings suggest that fracseal functions not only as a lost circulation material but also as a rheological stabilizing additive for high-temperature drilling operations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai dan meningkatkan kualitas website e-commerce B2B yang disebut XYZ (disamarkan atas permintaan pengelola). Karena dalam era digital saat ini, kualitas website e-commerce B2B berperan penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan bisnis.. Penelitian ini fokus pada integrasi feedback pengguna untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang kebutuhan dan ekspektasi mereka, yang berperan penting dalam meningkatkan pengalaman pengguna. Metodologi dalam penelitian menggunakan Focus Group Discussions (FGD) dengan 20 pengguna loyal yang telah berinteraksi dengan website selama dua tahun terakhir. Responden ini dipilih berdasarkan aktivitas pembelian mereka yang konsisten. FGD dilaksanakan untuk mengumpulkan data terperinci mengenai enam aspek kualitas menurut model McCall: keandalan, kegunaan, efisiensi, kebenaran, pemeliharaan, dan portabilitas. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan dan area yang membutuhkan perbaikan dalam pengelolaan situs. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pengguna merasa puas dengan aspek kebenaran dan portabilitas, namun beberapa aspek seperti keandalan, kegunaan, efisiensi, dan pemeliharaan masih memerlukan peningkatan. Berdasarkan temuan ini, tim pengembang bersama dengan manajemen pengelola mengakui pentingnya peningkatan berkelanjutan berdasarkan feedback pengguna untuk meningkatkan kinerja situs secara keseluruhan. Saran untuk penelitian mendatang termasuk penggunaan teknologi analisis data besar untuk lebih memahami dan merespons kebutuhan pengguna secara proaktif, sehingga tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas teknis situs tetapi juga memperkuat hubungan pengguna dengan platform XYZ. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi responsif terhadap feedback pengguna merupakan kunci dalam pengembangan e-commerce B2B yang sukses.
