Abstract

Fish plays a crucial role as a source of animal protein, providing various health benefits to humans, such as heart health, nerve function, and brain health. Furthermore, global aquaculture production has been on the rise, with Indonesia ranking as the world's second-largest fish producer. However, the consumption of fish remains relatively low. The diversification of processed fish products may serve as a solution to address the issue of low fish consumption, with the hope of increasing the intention to consume processed fish products. This study aims to examine the influence of respondent characteristics on control beliefs and the intention to consume processed fish products. The research employs descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis. The findings of the study reveal that respondent characteristics significantly impact control beliefs. However, respondent characteristics do not significantly influence the intention to consume. Additionally, control beliefs significantly influence the intention to consume processed fish products.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has left our campus classrooms empty for a long time. The main concern of this research is to ensure the cleanliness of the classroom, not only for the materials and the room, but also for the air in it. Clean and safe indoor air is determined by several factors, one of which is air ventilation. Standard classrooms usually need to have plenty of ventilation to ensure airflow, but in general, in most large cities, the case is not that simple. Some schools have a narrow area, some are in dense rural areas or in industrial areas, some use air conditioning but lack maintenance, etc. This research focuses on the development of indoor air quality measuring device that can be used to check the air quality of classrooms and transmit the results to parents and other related parties. The device is made using a wi-fi integrated microcontroller module which is equipped with sensors measuring air conditions. It is also connected to the application on the android phone, and the data is stored on the web. It is also embedded with geolocation tagging to indicate the exact location of activity. The stored data can be used as basic data to make predictions about air quality conditions in a particular place in the future.

Abstract

The holding of general elections is one of the means of achieving democracy and realizing a system of government that is people-sovereign and has been successfully implemented since Indonesia's independence until the current reformation period. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of general elections in Indonesia as part of the success of organizing democratic parties. The data used in this study comes from several pieces of literature relating to implementing the 1955 to 2019 general elections. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. With this method, the researcher attempts to describe, analyze, and explain the electoral system used during the legislative and presidential elections. The results of the study explain that Indonesia adheres to a democratic system in general elections. General elections aim to create a government of, by, and for the people. With the existing dynamics, elections in Indonesia have been successfully carried out from 1955 to 2019, both in the presidential and regional elections. The 1999 general election, which was a transition from the New Order government to reform, brought Indonesia towards a democratic political system. In 2004, the people participated directly in elections for the first time. The process of elections in Indonesia is indeed inseparable from the principles of general elections under Law Number 12 of 2003, namely direct, honest, fair, free, secret, and public.
