Abstract

The level of intensity in a fitness regimen determines its impact: exercising can enhance intelligence, boost happiness, and increase the number of neurons. It is commonly accepted that exercise programs yield both positive and negative outcomes, depending on their intensity, among other factors, following a pattern like hormesis with a two-phase dose response. In simple terms, hormetic stress is the exact amount of stress to which our body is challenged, but we are not too tired. Therefore, your body is not weakened by lack of exposure to stress, but you are spared from the harmful side effects of toxic stress. Nevertheless, no proof has emerged thus far regarding a two-phase reaction of specific agents responsible for these exercise-induced effects. The discussions and concepts will revolve around adult hippocampal neurogenesis (AHN) as a plausible physiological basis for the hermetic reaction to exercise in relation to its impact on cognition and mood, including the potential molecular pathways that might facilitate these effects.

Abstract

The phenomenon of teacher decline happens in all stages of education in 2021/2022. Continuous situations would hinder the school's objectives, cause a drop in academic achievements, and disrupt the talent management process during the leadership turnover among others. Teacher turnover can be predicted through turnover intention, which can be affected by work motivation, job stress, and organizational commitment. This research aims to determine the effect of work motivation on job stress, organizational commitment, and turnover intention and the impact of job stress and organizational commitment on turnover intention. This research was conducted in SMA (senior high school) and SMK (vocational school) PKP Jakarta Islamic School, which involved 77 respondents, from March 2022 to June 2023. SEM-PLS is used to process and evaluate the research hypotheses. The results show work motivation does affect job stress, organizational commitment, and turnover intention, and job stress and organizational commitment do affect teacher turnover intention.

Abstract

The recent years have witnessed intense debates on the enhancement of foreign exchange reserves' performance, yet the significance of this improvement for developing countries still needs to be answered. This study aims to investigate the connection and impact between money supply and exports on foreign exchange reserves in select Southeast Asian nations, namely Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore. We utilised the Ordinary-Least Square (OLS) and Johansen Cointegration Test models to examine the effects of money supply and exports on foreign exchange reserves using annual data from 1990 to 2019 in these five ASEAN countries. Our findings indicate that, over the long term, money supply and exports exert a positive and substantial influence on the performance of foreign exchange reserves in these ASEAN countries. Our policy recommendation underscores the need for efforts aimed at bolstering foreign exchange reserves to prioritise the involvement of the respective governments in these selected ASEAN countries, both domestically and globally, through a series of collaborative initiatives designed to enhance foreign exchange reserves' performance.

Abstract

This research analyzes the technical training needs required by the Mobile Brigade Pioneer Battalion of Polda Metro Jaya in securing the National Capital City. Securing the National Capital is a complex challenge and requires high readiness and competence from the police, especially the Pioneer Battalion. In this research, the author uses a qualitative approach with the Training Need Analysis (TNA) analysis method, which involves questionnaires and a literature study. The results of the analysis show that the Pioneer Battalion is widely applied in various security tasks, which include handling high-intensity crime threats and managing natural disasters. The involvement of the Vanguard Battalion generally plays a role in supporting regional police when the intensity of the threat reaches a high escalation. Training uses a training manual published by the Foster Police Department. The research results show that there is still potential to improve training. In this analysis, the author emphasizes training based on actual needs for securing the National Capital, enhancing services to the community, and preparing to face future threats. In conclusion, this research identifies the importance of technical training in securing the National Capital by the Mobile Brigade Pioneer Battalion of Polda Metro Jaya. Based on the analysis, it is recommended to provide training that is not only related to the tasks and duties of the Pioneer Battalion in the context of securing the capital. Because the involvement of the pioneer battalion was extensive and not only related to security. The development and improvement of technical training that is relevant to the actual needs for security of the National Capital will strengthen the readiness and competence of Pioneer Battalion members in carrying out complex security tasks involving various other security aspects.

Abstract

Sexual harassment within the realm of international law is a multifaceted and intricate matter, impacting numerous individuals worldwide annually. This article seeks to examine and assess the difficulties and potential advancements in safeguarding those affected by sexual violence on a global scale. By conducting a comprehensive examination of diverse international legal instruments, such as the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), the Convention on Human Rights, various regional agreements, and UN resolutions, the authors highlight the pivotal role that international organizations play in combatting sexual harassment. The article also underscores the legal enforcement challenges and the accountability of sexual harassment perpetrators at the international level. The lack of uniformity in the definition and punishment of sexual misconduct across different countries, along with restrictions on victims' access to the legal system, pose hindrances to effectively addressing this issue. Nonetheless, despite these obstacles, the article presents optimistic prospects concerning the advocacy efforts of civil society and the growing global awareness of the problem of sexual harassment. In transcending national borders, international initiatives aimed at addressing sexual harassment are gaining increasing significance to establish a safe and violence-free global environment.

Abstract

In Jakarta, social assistance is available for specific categories of older adults but is given by Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT). Technical assistance is based on a database of beneficiaries and its mining due to the regulation registry. The sub-national social government maintains a Mining database. The author uses a database in one of the districts as a case study. The author uses Crisp DM to understand this social welfare problem because it has its logic of understanding, the logic and the details of pre-processing the data. Then, to decide, used a Support Vector Machine (SVM) as a model and tested it with cross-validation. To obtain the classification accuracy formed from the data processing results. This research aims to see the predictive results of the distribution of KLJ program assistance. Then, answer the form of modeling to create a decision system for the distribution of KLJ. For this reason, SVM is used to make decisions related to social assistance issues.  In the SVM, which consists of two classes, it can be interpreted that one class contains “stop” while the other “receive”. However, there are offers bias in the data processing, with the "if" condition. The data processing reaches 100% accuracy and gets SVM kernel weight.

Abstract

The success of marketing activities and financial success in a commercial area or shopping center is influenced by several factors, one of which is the tenant mix factor. The process of analyzing the composition of the tenant mix using the consumer preference weighting method can make it easier for developers to know exactly the types of tenants expected and needed by potential consumers. The research object in this study is Travoy Hub, a commercial area that is being developed by PT Jasamarga Related Business. Specifically, there are three main parameters that can describe the tenant mix model effectively, namely the tenant preference category (Preferred Main Tenant Category), the tenant order category (Ranking of Main Tenant Category Preference), and the tenant product purchasing tendency category (Likelihood of Supporting Preferred Tenants). The aim of this research is to explain the logic of the research methodology as well as the preferences of potential consumers regarding tenant plans that will operate in the commercial area in question, using the example of a commercial area in the East Jakarta area.

Abstract

Fish is a common protein source and easy to obtain in Indonesia, but because of its high water content, fish quickly spoils. Fish freshness can be detected using several conventional methods, such as chemical analysis, biochemistry, microbiological analysis, and sensory examination. Another identification method involves observing the color of the fish's eyes. Fish identification is crucial before any further processing, ensuring that the fish's quality delivered to consumers remains high. To tackle the problem of differentiating between fresh and non-fresh fish, this research employs Self-Organizing Maps (SOM) as the primary methodology. This research focuses on identifying fresh and non-fresh fish using the SOM method, using actual data involving tilapia as the research object. The data includes eye images of new and non-fresh fish, and various procedures are required to obtain the desired data. This data is then used as training and testing data. The process continues with the preprocessing stage, which is a data modification process to improve performance in subsequent steps and feature extraction using HSV color histograms. Classification of processed data is carried out using the SOM method. Once completed, the identification results are displayed. This research produces a system for identifying fresh and non-fresh fish based on eye images using SOM, which achieves a good accuracy of 85.71%.

Abstract

The welfare state not only encompasses the organization of welfare or social services but emphasizes that everyone is entitled to social services as their right. The polarization of the goals of the welfare state is formulated to establish indicators as tools for assessing whether society is prosperous or not. Speaking of the concept of the rule of law, Islam as a perfect religion also has a concept of statehood. The methodological approach in this research is normative legal research (normative juridical). The type of research used is descriptive research. The data sources obtained by the author are primary legal materials and secondary legal materials. The data collection method used in this research is literature study. The data analysis method used in this research is qualitative method. The results of social welfare that have developed today indicate that there are citizens whose basic needs are not adequately met by the state. As a result, there are still citizens who face obstacles in the implementation of social functions, making it difficult for them to lead a dignified and decent life. Islam is not just a religion that contains a set of ritual doctrines, but Islam is a holistic and systematic worldview. Islam as al-din encompasses all aspects of human life, including statehood and law.
