Abstract

The Indonesian government, under the leadership of President Joko Widodo for two terms, gave significant emphasis on infrastructure development, as reflected in the annual infrastructure capital expenditure. Infrastructure development aims to promote balanced development and open up new economic areas. In addition to infrastructure projects, the government also allocates a portion of the capital expenditure to strategic projects. The procurement process for goods and services, both for infrastructure development and capital expenditure, requires Surety Bonds issued by guarantee companies or Bank Guarantees issued by banks. PT Jamkrindo is one of the providers of Surety Bond products, however, its marketing strategy is not aligned with the marketing objectives of increasing the volume of guarantees and profitability. Therefore, a new marketing strategy for Surety Bond products is needed, utilizing the Mullins 4C model approach: context, customer, company, and competitor. These four aspects are analyzed using macro analysis, industry analysis, consumer decision-making process (CDMP), brand image, points of parity, and points of difference. Through this analysis, a new marketing strategy for Surety Bond products is formulated.

Abstract

This research uses a quantitative approach and Partial Least Square- Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the relationship between the variables Financial Literacy (X1), Investment Experience (X2), Overconfidence (X3), Risk Tolerance (Z), and Investment Decisions ( Y) for National University Master of Management study program students. The results of descriptive statistical analysis reveal that Financial Literacy, Investment Experience, and Overconfidence have a positive and significant effect on Risk Tolerance, while Financial Literacy, Investment Experience, and Overconfidence have a positive effect on Investment Decisions. However, the results of the analysis show that Financial Literacy has an insignificant influence on Investment Decisions, while Investment Experience and Overconfidence have a positive and significant influence on Investment Decisions. Risk Tolerance also has a positive and significant effect on Investment Decisions. In addition, this research finds that Risk Tolerance mediates the relationship between Financial Literacy, Investment Experience, and Investment Decisions. In other words, the greater the Financial Literacy and Investment Experience, the Risk Tolerance will increase, which in turn will increase Investment Decisions. The results of this research provide important insights for National University Master of Management study program students and other stakeholders in understanding the factors that influence investment decisions, as well as the importance of understanding the level of financial literacy and investment experience in managing risk and making wise investment decisions.

Abstract

This research discusses the issue of centralization and decentralization in handling the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on the Indonesian context. Criticism of decentralization in COVID-19 was conveyed by Smith (2012), who considered it a form of centralization that strengthens narrow interests and threatens the public interest. This research also looks at the implementation of health decentralization in Natuna, which is experiencing severe challenges such as a shortage of medical personnel, lack of timely available funds, and inadequate availability of vaccines and medical materials. In addition, the COVID-19 pandemic has raised challenges in coordinating and managing responses in various countries, with some adopting a centralized approach and others favoring decentralization. This research tries to explore the legal links between the central and regional governments in handling COVID-19 in Indonesia, with a focus on the impact of existing regulations such as Law No. 24 of 2007 concerning Disaster Management, Law No. 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government, and Law no. 6 of 2018 concerning Health Quarantine regarding cooperation and coordination between the central and regional governments in handling the pandemic. This research is vital because COVID-19 is a global health crisis affecting various social, economic, and political aspects. With a better understanding of the legal relationship between central and regional governments in handling the pandemic, it is hoped that response coordination and effectiveness can be improved, thereby saving lives and reducing adverse social and economic impacts. This research has the advantage of focusing on the legal relationship between the central and regional governments in handling the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia and recommendations for reconstructing this legal relationship by referring to the 1945 Constitution. Good collaboration between the central and regional governments is considered vital in handling the COVID-19 pandemic -19 in the future.

Abstract

Agriculture plays an important role in the Indonesian economy, especially in rural areas which are dominated by farmers whose income is from agricultural products. Increasing farmer welfare is the key to agricultural development. This can be achieved through increasing agricultural productivity, access to efficient markets, and developing human resources and farmer institutions. Farmer groups are a key element in agricultural development, enabling the exchange of information, training and collaboration between farmers. Farmer Group capability class assessment is an important tool in understanding the dynamics and development of this group. In Sawahlunto City, the majority of Farmer Groups are still in the beginner and advanced classes, with only a few reaching the intermediate class. Many factors influence the ability of Farmer Groups, including changes in conditions in the field, structural changes, and the formation of groups just to get government assistance. Therefore, assessing the ability class of Farmer Groups must be the basis for coaching and empowering this group, so that it can play a more effective role in agricultural development.
