Abstract

The current development of technology and information is driving various business sectors to undergo transformation. Telkomsel continues to strive to enhance ease in providing digital connectivity support solutions. One of these efforts is the establishment of a supply chain ecosystem through the management of Telkomsel resellers by introducing the Digipos Aja application. This research aims to identify factors that influence acceptance and success of implementing Digipos Aja. It employs variables from the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model and Delone and McLean IS Success model. Quantitative method involves collecting data about usage frequency, user satisfaction levels, and benefits received through a questionnaire distributed to 400 resellers using DigiPOS Aja in the Kalimantan region. Quantitative data is analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the data processing tool SmartPLS. The research results indicate that two variables, System Quality and Service Quality, are not significant in relation to Continuance Intention.

Abstract

Like companies that are oriented to the buying and selling business in general, PT PLN (Persero) or PLN also has the same business risk, namely the existence of accounts receivables arising from electricity buying and selling transactions with consumers. By getting cash in from billing electricity bills, PLN's operations will of course be maintained so that service to customers can be even better. To support securing the company's cash flow, it is necessary to carry out an analysis related to external factors that influence the willingness to pay electricity bills by looking at the characteristics of regional conditions so that mitigation can be carried out to control electricity receivables. One of the relevant methods to obtain a mapping of consumers' willingness to make electricity bill payments is to use the ranking analysis method, which is an analysis of several rankings on methods including conducting surveys, interviews with experts based on the Delphi method ( 2 rounds of interviews) and statistical calculations using the independent sample t-test and the final test using the Borda calculation method. In this study, the factors that most influenced customer behavior related to their willingness to pay electricity bills were obtained based on regional characteristics, namely regional education and culture factors, economic factors and consumer income then the electricity service reliability factor. The mapping of these factors can be used by companies as one of the considerations for making decisions to develop operational strategies in an effort to control the values of electricity account receivables.

Abstract

A growth pole is an area experiencing rapid expansion and is seen as a hub for development, with the potential to influence the development of neighboring areas. This research aims to identify key sectors that can serve as the economic driving force in Ambon city. The study utilized historical data, specifically time series data from the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in 2010 constant prices. The research methodology employed several techniques, including Location Quotient (LQ) analysis, Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) analysis, and Klassen Typology analysis, to assess the prominent sectors in Ambon city. Additionally, the Shift-Share Analysis (SSA) approach was used to estimate the impact of these leading sectors on the city's economic growth. The LQ analysis revealed the existence of ten leading sectors in Ambon city. Furthermore, the Klassen Typology analysis categorized these sectors into five developed, five stagnant, five developing, and two underdeveloped sectors. The SSA analysis indicated that four sectors had the highest share value in the province's share component, four sectors showed positive values in the proportional shift component, and eleven sectors exhibited positive values in the differential shift component. The cumulative effect of these three components illustrates the significant impact of these sectors on Ambon city's economic growth.

Abstract

Acute respiratory infections are one of the most common causes of death in children. Around four out of fifteen million estimated deaths are in children under 5 years of age ( Wiwin et al, 2020). ISPA is a disease that often occurs in developing countries and is one of the causes of patient visits to health centers (40%-60%) and hospitals (15%-30%). The five provinces with the highest ISPA are, NTT (41.7%), Papua (31.1%), Aceh (30.0%), NTB (28.3%), and East Java (28.3%). Based on the NTB Health Profile (2020) in 2019, ARI was the number one case in the category of the 10 most common diseases in NTB with the highest number of visits, namely 174,213 visits (NTB Health Office, 2018). Based on the results of the Indonesian Health Profile in 2020, the number of patient visits with ISPA in the NTB area was 182,204. Based on data from the 2020 Indonesian Health Profile, NTB is ranked 6th with the highest number of patient visits with ISPA in Indonesia. Quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach with control group design. The sampling technique was consecutive sampling with 100 respondents. The results of the paired sample T test data analysis showed that the knowledge of the intervention group had ap value of 0.000 < 0.05 and the control group had ap value of 0.01 < 0.05. Then the skills of the intervention group obtained ap value of 0.000 < 0.05 and the control group obtained ap value of 0.05. These results show that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected so it can be interpreted that there is an educational effect using videos and the VCO application module in reducing ARI symptoms in children.

Abstract

The development of global terrorist crimes has shown a significant increase in mode, quantity and quality, with Indonesia becoming one of the targets of terrorism. It was revealed that the local militant network had links to international networks. Terrorist activities utilize ideology and religion as tools to influence society and achieve their goals. Therefore, the Indonesian government faces the phenomenon of terrorism wisely, analyzing various aspects of national life to fight terrorism together with the international community. Terrorism aims to create fear and uncertainty, create panic, disrupt social stability and disrupt the relationship between society and government. Terrorism, both on an international and local scale, can hamper efforts to create a conducive investment climate within the country. Serious challenges arise from the failure of several key terrorist figures to be caught and the emergence of new forms of terrorist acts. Factors such as individual and group interests, social inequality, religious beliefs, injustice in law enforcement, and socio-cultural changes influence the development of terrorism. Countering terrorism requires a synergistic cross-sectoral cooperation strategy to create domestic security stability. Even though efforts have been made to deal with terrorism, public awareness of the dangers of terrorism is still weak. Effective strategies in anticipating terrorism include steps that support aggressive and diversified strategies, including increasing community resilience, revising laws, as well as deradicalization and communal rehabilitation programs. In a global context, terrorism has become a serious focus for countries around the world and is a UN program in its efforts to prevent and overcome it. The history of terrorism in Indonesia records an increase in the number and impact of acts of terrorism, including incidents such as the Bali Bombing, the JW Marriott hotel explosion, and the attack in front of the Australian Embassy Building. Joint efforts to confront and prevent terrorism in Indonesia must take into account regional characteristics, potential and influencing aspects, without sacrificing national interests and ethnic and religious sensitivities.
