This research was aims to analyze the application of a matrix structure in a company that changes its organizational structure to a matrix in order to achieve its strategic goals. The research method used was a qualitative descriptive analysis method with a case study approach at a health institution, a company that has implemented a matrix organizational structure for three years. The CIPP concept framework (context input, process, product) was used as a tool for collecting primary data through in-depth interviews with the board of directors and management that supports several directorates, as well as secondary data through document review. The data analysis process was carried out using the content analysis method. This study has identified important steps that organizations must take when implementing change management initiatives through the implementation of a matrix organizational structure to effectively achieve their strategic goals. However, strong leadership must be present throughout the change process to ensure the achievement of organizational goals. The findings from this research are expected to be useful for institutions that change their organizational structure to a matrix to build synergy and manage challenges to achieve their strategic goals.

Abstract

Information technology is increasingly advanced, coupled with the existence of the internet, which is now a global communication system that allows everyone around the world to meet and talk about almost anything. The internet has become a medium of communication, which is done through various media available on it. The internet provides various social media platforms, both for positive and negative reasons, and has become the order of the day because nowadays, the world is so tied to the internet. Unfortunately, not everyone uses the internet for a good cause. There are many people who use social networks to commit crimes, such as cyber-crime in the form of social engineering. Social engineering allows malicious hackers to gain unauthorized access to an organization's networks, user accounts and emails, databases, smart devices, and electronics, such as laptops, personal webcams, and sensors, including network connectivity that allows all of these objects to exchange data. These hackers use a variety of methods to carry out social engineering attacks. The technical complexity of the information systems used in locating, examining, and analyzing relevant transaction data requires sufficient time and technical expertise to gather robust evidence to support the case for social engineering, which involves in-depth analysis of bank transaction data related to the attack. This process can be time-consuming, especially if many transactions need to be traced and analyzed.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increase in sexual violence numbers, both against women and other vulnerable groups. Sexual violence requires legislative intervention which in its process faces obstacles because of the appearance of controversy. The controversy affects the slow process of approval of the law and its derivative rules. Using the concept of strategic intelligence analysis, this research was carried out. Qualitative approach with descriptive type, research using document study and interviews as data collection techniques. Data suggests that reviewed strategic intelligence analysis fails due to factors of lack of knowledge about sexual violence and its implications, besides the concept of strategic intelligence analysis for mapping conflict and contesting actors has not been used in the policy formulation process. These weaknesses affect the extent to which the state budget is being used to allocate prolonged regulatory formulation, in addition to affecting the social and psychological costs to the victims and existing support systems, including law enforcement and victim protection. Recommendations to all stakeholders, first of all relating to the intelligence function of information sharing, enhancing intelligence capacity especially at the knowledge level, as well as encouraging enhanced cooperation and collaboration among actors to jointly strive for Indonesia to be free from sexual violence.

Abstract

This study focuses on the first problem of solving traffic accident criminal cases that have been applied in law enforcement and how to reconstruct the ideal traffic accident crime resolution based on a restorative justice approach. The method used in this study is normative juridical research with a research approach in the form of a normative approach. The result of this study is that direct involvement between perpetrators, victims, and communities in solving criminal cases is emphasized in the restorative justice approach. Criminal acts involving traffic accidents can be resolved in accordance with the principles of restorative justice. Because it serves the interests of victims and perpetrators based on two perspectives (victims and perpetrators) in terms of accident crimes, the use of restorative justice is essential. The application of restorative justice in solving criminal cases that prioritizes the interests of victims and perpetrators in finding solutions to crimes and their consequences has been outlined in a circular issued by the Indonesian National Police.  The traditional dynamic between local communities and their governments in fighting crime can be changed by the use of restorative justice in cases involving accidents. Customary institutions are still often used in Sorong City by local communities to resolve conflicts, but Law No. 22/2009 on Traffic and Road Transport has stipulated the threat of criminal penalties for those responsible for traffic accidents. Therefore, the police had to investigate the traffic accident even if the victim's family decided not to prosecute.

Christianity, with its various denominations, predominates followed by Catholicism, Islam, Buddhism, and Confucianism. This diversity affects the everyday social aspects of society and important religious events. The potential for intolerance arises without an adequate understanding of religious moderation, particularly in the face of differences in beliefs. Religious moderation is defined as religious attitudes and practices that respect diversity and differences in beliefs. Every individual believer has the militancy to uphold the truth of his religion, and the power of faith can create brotherhood and harmony in society. Religious moderation is essential for maintaining mutual respect, respect, and listening to one another, encouraging the integrity of God's creation and the common good (bonum commune). This research implements Community Service Activities (PKM) with lectures, discussions, and case study methods. The final result of PkM is a practical guide that can be adopted by participants to apply the concept of religious moderation in daily life and strengthen harmony in society. This research contributes to a further understanding of the importance of religious moderation in the face of a plurality of religions and beliefs.
