Abstract

The enforcement of criminal law in the Excise Law traditionally focuses on penalties. Still, since Law Number 7 of 2021, PPNS Customs and Excise investigators at the Cikarang Customs and Excise Office can now apply the principle of restorative justice in resolving criminal excise cases. This research, conducted through normative legal methods with a case approach, aims to clarify the concept and mechanism of implementing restorative justice in resolving excise criminal cases at the Cikarang Customs and Excise Office. Results from September 2023 reveal that the office has successfully implemented restorative justice 106 times, leading to asset recovery of Rp. 2,434,494,100. The benefits include a decrease in excise violations, with only a 1.9% recidivism rate. In conclusion, restorative justice has been effective, prioritising beneficial justice efforts and increasing state revenue while deterring repeat excise criminal acts.

Abstract

The integration of engineering practices with project management responsibilities is commonplace in the field, offering an effective solution for executing engineering projects. However, the unique discipline of project management poses a challenge, revealing a limitation in the quality of human resources with expertise in both engineering and project management. This study aims to address this gap by developing a Project Management Micro-Credential Design to formally recognize engineers possessing project management competencies. Employing the Rapid Assessment Process (RAP) integrated with the Regional Model Competency Standard (RMCS), the research outlines a comprehensive design for the development of a micro-credential in engineering project management. Key components of the design include a competency-based skill set development model, an instructional design system for quality assurance, an outcome-based learning and teaching delivery structure (OBLT), a competency-based assessment (CBA) development framework, and an operational structure for micro-credential implementation. This designed framework is adaptable for application within Professional Organizations and Professional Education of Engineers, accommodating both integrated and packaged formats, such as the Indonesian Student Micro-Credential (KMMI). The study contributes to bridging the gap in project management expertise among engineers, presenting a structured approach to enhance their competencies and recognition within the engineering profession.

Abstract

The world is experiencing significant changes in information and communication technology development, making e-marketing a very critical method to implement. The open competition requires MSMEs in the regions to pay more attention to marketing aspects via the Internet as a modern marketing medium that is more profitable and closer to customers. Studies on the implementation of e-marketing in MSMEs still need to be completed, especially in developing countries like Indonesia, where MSMEs are very large and are one of the supporting sectors in increasing state income. This research examines the influence of technological, organisational, environmental (TOE) and individual contexts on the implementation of e-marketing for MSMEs in East Kalimantan. The results show that the technical and ecological context positively influences the performance of e-marketing in East Kalimantan. In contrast, organisational and individual variables do not affect the implementation of e-marketing for MSMEs in East Kalimantan.

Abstract

The administration of protamine, a heparin reversal agent, is an integral part of cardiovascular bypass protocols, particularly in the post-bypass phase. In paediatric cases, protamine is administered in a titration dose. The use of protamine is associated with various adverse events, including myocardial impairment. Proper dosage adjustment is crucial during protamine administration, as excessive doses may result in the depression of myocardial function. Experimental studies examining protamine usage have revealed myocyte impairments, such as reduced myocyte contractility, dysfunction in signaling pathways, and alterations in cardiac receptors. Despite these findings, research on the impact of pediatric protamine on the myocardium remains limited and necessitates further investigation.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze changes in PSAK regarding rent, which affects financial performance at PT Aneka Tambang Tbk. Implementing PSAK 73 requires lessees to classify operating leases into finance leases except for short-term leases and assets with a low basis. Lessees with future operating lease commitments must capitalize the lease assets and liabilities. Lease capitalization causes assets and liabilities to increase and equity to decrease in the statement of financial position while net profit in the comprehensive income statement increases. This is because the expenses that arise from the capitalization of rent, namely depreciation and interest expenses, are smaller than the rent expenses written off. The quantitative descriptive research uses secondary data sources in the form of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk's financial reports in 2019 before changes to the PSAK Lease and in 2020 after changes to PSAK. The research results show that changes to PSAK impact the company's financial performance as assessed by financial ratios.
