The construction of transportation facilities on soft soil will cause problems where the bearing capacity of soft soil is low and the process of land subsidence will require a long period of time. As is known, the land subsidence factor causes many problems in the process of building transportation facilities, besides that, there will also be problems at the level of service (serviceability). Therefore, this problem must be anticipated before the transportation facility begins to function. There are many methods that can be done. Where in the selection of methods, the efficiency and effectiveness factors are very dominant. One method that can be done is to fill the soil combined with vertical drain and horizontal drain. This method was chosen to be one of the most widely used methods because it is easy to do and quite efficient. The purpose of writing this thesis is to analyze thereduction of settlement each layer of soft soil that is repaired using the soil filling method combined with prefabricated vertical drain and prefabricated horizontal drain using the PLAXIS 3D program. The results of this calculation will then be compared with observations made in the field using a settlement plate for later analysis. Calculation of the size of the consolidation settlement using the Terzaghi 1 dimension consolidation method obtained a decrease of 16.09 cm. This result is relatively close to the results of observations made in the field of 16.3 cm. In the PLAXIS 3D modeling approach using 1 PVD line and 1 PHD line, the result is a decrease of 16.52 cm without taking into account the effect of the smear zone and 16.22 cm taking into account the effect of the smear zone. In the PLAXIS 3D modeling approach using 2 PVD lines and 2 PHD lines, the result is a decrease of 16.54 cm without taking into account the effect of the smear zone and 16.28 cm by taking into account the effect of the smear zone. And when modeling without using PHD the value of the decrease obtained is 9.7 cm. When modeling using sand blanket as a substitute for PHD, the decrease value is 13.3 cm

The purpose of this study was to describe the answer process made by students in solving spatial ability questions through the Visualization Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model in the Covid-19 era. This type of research was conducted using a qualitative case study method on students' spatial abilities. The sample in this study was seventh-grade junior high school students from the purposive sampling technique and was taken by the initial screening results. The instruments used in data collection are observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that spatial abilities through the Visualization Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model students can better understand the material because this model is better able to understand the material with their respective learning styles. The spatial ability consists of orientation, mental rotation, visualization, perception, relation, and disembedding. It turned out that many students answered correctly with a complete answer process on aspects of orientation, visualization, and perception. The rest on aspects of mental rotation, relation, and disembedding, there are still some students who have not answered correctly, and the answer process is complete. Therefore, it should be noted that aspects that cannot be answered correctly need improvements in the learning process or in questions that support aspects of mental rotation, relation, and disembedding spatial abilities to understand the geometry material better

Research has been carried out on the seismic refraction exploration method by utilizing piles on the construction project of the Geomatics Campus II FTSP ITS Surabaya as a source of vibration. Rayleigh waves are one type of surface wave that is good for identifying layered structures near the earth's surface because 67% of the energy The total amount released by the seismic wave source is transmitted in the form of Rayleigh waves. In the layered medium, Rayleigh waves have dispersive properties, speed as a function of frequency. This property can be used to determine the structure of the earth's layers based on the shear wave velocity (Vs) with depth (h). The inversion process is carried out to match the measurement dispersion curve and the model. The result of the inversion process is the shear wave velocity (Vs) function of depth. This research is expected to identify and characterize the soil profile at the research site. On the track, there are three layers indicated as clay layers, in the first layer 0-6 meters with an average speed of 250 m/s, the second layer 6-19 meters with an average speed of 971 m/s, and the third layer 19-57 meters with an average speed of 1564 m/s

Hemangioma in the uterine cevix is a rare case, especially during pregnancy. Hemangioma is a benign tumor, but it can cause complication namely antepartum bleeding, preterm labour, and severe, life threatening complication such as disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC). Histopathology examination is needed to diagnose hemangioma, and to differentiate this disease with other pathological condition. Conservative therapy was chosen as the main option rather than surgical therapy. The case report explain about 2 cases with cervical hemangioma in the uterine in 2 pregnant women. In the case 1 we presented a 27 years old primigravida, 29th weeks gestational age, with antepartum bleeding. A cervical biopsy was done and the histopathological examination reveal a capillary hemangioma within the uterine cervix. The patient was followed up with medications, and a caesarean section was planned to deliver the baby. In the case 2, a 30 years old multigravida with complained of postpartum bleeding. The clinical manifestation of cervical hemanioma in pregnancy was similar with other pathological condition, such as cervical cancer. A better understanding in pathogenesis and histopathological examination is important to differentiate hemangioma and other pathological condition in uterine cervix. Therapeutic modality was still debated, because of the limitation of literature about hemangioma cervix, especially in pregnant women
