Abstract

Background: Several shares of energy sector issuers rose amid the war between Russia and Ukraine, this is inversely proportional to the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) which decreased 1.48 percent to 6,817 at the close of Thursday, February 24, 2022. The share prices of several consumer goods issuers that rely on wheat raw materials fell sharply in the past week. Aim: This study aims to analyze whether there is a capital market reaction in energy and consumer non-cylical sector stocks in Indonesia to seven different events related to the war between Russia and Ukraine. Method: Using the event study method, the sample used was 30 issuers, with 15 issuers coming from the energy sector, and 15 other issuers coming from the primary needs sector (consumer non-cyclical). This study obtained secondary data on the list of issuers of energy and primary needs sector stocks on the Composite Stock Price Index, stock prices, daily returns, and trading activity volumes from the website (www.idx.co.id) and (www.finance.yahoo.com). Findings: The market here is efficient in the form of semi-strong, because the capital market reaction is abnormal returns seen within one to two days after the announcement. In addition, the speed at which the market responds to war-related information that will influence the decision to buy or sell stocks is not seen at the beginning of the war. Overall, the market decisions affected by the war were temporary, as evidenced by the absence of significant stock price differences in the recent events studied.

Abstract

Background: An organization's survival, growth, and competitive advantage depend on its agility or ability to respond quickly and effectively to changes in its internal and external environment. Creating various innovations, including implementing new systems, strategies, and programs, requires creativity to run effectively. An organizational culture that is accommodative to the changes that occur is needed to make this happen. Many studies on communication and its relationship to organizational culture suggest a reciprocal influence between the two. However, the role of transformative communication carried out by leaders in creating an organizational innovation culture has not been widely studied. A research model was developed to explain the relationship between constructs based on an analysis of the employees of a public company in Indonesia. Aim: This study emphasizes the role of transformative communication as a mediator of transformational leadership in achieving organizational innovation culture in the company implementing a new system. Method: Analysis using structural equation modeling with partial least squares estimation was applied. This research contributes to the application of transformative communication more specifically. Findings: The study's findings indicate that transformative communication plays a significant role in mediating the effects of transformational leadership on the development of an organizational innovation culture. This study concludes with some suggestions for potential future research.

Abstract

K.H. Tubagus Ahmad Bakri (died 1975) was a cleric in Sempur Village, Plered District, Purwakarta Regency, West Java. One form of his legacy is in the form of written works known as "nuqilan" or adaptations. One of them is Mashlahah Al-`Islamiyyah Fi `Ihkami Al-Tawhidiyyah (MIFIT) which specifically reveals thoughts on theological aspects in Islam. Uncovering patterns of theological thinking and religious teachings that can be applied in the lives of rural communities. This research uses the reception method, which is a critical study of the text and revealing the meanings contained in it. It is a qualitative method in whihch every sentence contained in the text is interpreted and connected with the reality of its implementation in everyday life in order to set an example to the audience, both students and society. The philological and textological studies of MIFIT critically produced the model of theological thinking that is very Ahlussunnah-centric by revealing the arguments of the Qur'an and the Prophet's Hadith as well as several Sunni scholars from the Middle East and the Indonesian Archipelago. The implications are at the level of practice of religious teachings in life which tend to be exclusive even though they prioritize tolerance.

Abstract

Background: Compared to non-surgical therapies, redo craniotomy is linked to improved neurological state and a lower mortality rate. But it also carries a higher price tag and complication risk. Aim: The researchers would like to discover anesthesia management of patients with redo craniotomy in patients with supratentorial recidive tumors. Method: The researchers used the case study method. Two cases of redo craniotomy performed at the Santosa Hospital Bandung Central Indonesia are presented. The first case involved a 24-year-old male with a supraorbital tumor, GCS 15, and the second case involved a 43-year-old woman with  meningiomas, GCS 15. The first patient underwent redo craniotomy six (6) months after the first operation, while the second patient underwent the procedure three (3) months after the first operation. These patients were subjected to anesthesia using the same techniques and anesthetic drugs. patients were positioned in a neutral position with 20-30 degree head up, voluntary hyperventilated, and adequate anxiolytics. Findings: The bleeding volume of the patients was 800 mL for the first patient and 1,000 mL for the second, and the fluid balance was maintained using the ringerfundin balance solution. The durations of the operation of the first and second patients were  4 and 6.5 hours, respectively. Postoperatively, patients were treated in the ICU for one day under mechanical ventilation and were transferred to the ward after extubation. Better intraoperative care, improved surgical skills, surgical equipment, and better intensive care support are likely to improve outcomes in patients with redo craniotomy.

Abstract

Background: Reckless bus drivers are still roaming on the highway. They usually make reasons like they are chased by deposits or so as not to be sleepy so they do the action. Even though when riding a bus, the driver certainly carries passengers and must be responsible for their safety. Aim: To provide an overview or model of intervention in dealing with risky driving behavior that is influenced by perceptions of safety risk, self control, self regulation, normlessness as factors behind risky driving behavior in Intercity Interprovincial Bus drivers, which is mediated by defensive driving behavior. Method: This study used a mix method, namely the calculation of questionnaire results using SmartPLS to see the model and the discussion of research uses more qualitative. The data used are secondary data, and primary data collected through filling out a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1-5. The total respondents sampled in this study ranged from 50 bus drivers from PO Santoso and PO Handoyo at Bekasi City terminal, so the total number of respondents is around 100 people. Findings: There is a correlation or influence between risk perception, self control, n ormlessness and self regulation, significantly on risky driving behavior with defensive driving as a mediator. Risk perception had a significant influence on risky driving behavior. On the other hand, normlessness is very influential significantly because there is defensive driving as a mediator so that it is very effective if there is no defensive driver as a mediator.
