Abstract

This research has been done in regards on several problems relating to the utilization of Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) in business transaction, particularly in the businesses involving an Indonesian company or Indonesian entity. According to the research which has been done there are three major problems becoming the object of the research : firstly how far is the legality of the SPV utilizationin in the business from Indonesian law perspective, secondly how the practice of the SPV utilization from the perspective of business law in general, thirdly how to make the concept of SPV as a law smuggling shall not creating the loss to the certain party particularly the country of the Republic of Indonesia. The method used in this research is normative law research through the approach of cases, rules and regulations, comparative, and conceptual. The normative law research is based on the implementation of the rule of law concept in order to create a well-controlled and well-organized country. The cases approach has been done by evaluating the cases relating the SPV as a law smuggling and the opportunity to anticipate the loss of the country arising from the use of SPV as a law smuggling. The regulations and comparative approach has been done by evaluating the rules and regulations as currently exist in Indonesia and to make a comparative study with other countries in order to obtain a guidance to establish a regulation regarding the limitations of the SPV utilization in Indonesia. The theoretical and conceptual approach has been used to analyse the problems arising from the utilization of SPV.

Abstract

This study explores the phenomenon of digital activism in Indonesia through the viral hashtag #KaburAjaDulu, which emerged as a response to widespread dissatisfaction with political, economic, and social conditions. Unlike traditional forms of activism that rely on physical demonstrations and petitions, digital activism leverages social media platforms to mobilize collective action more rapidly and inclusively. By employing a qualitative approach and literature review, this research examines how #KaburAjaDulu reflects the frustrations of Indonesian youth and functions as a symbolic act of resistance against perceived systemic injustices. The findings reveal that the hashtag evolved into a digital movement that successfully captured public attention, particularly among young people, by fostering solidarity and stimulating critical discourse. The rapid spread of the campaign underscores the effectiveness of social media as a tool for amplifying voices and shaping public opinion. However, the long-term impact of such digital activism depends largely on institutional responses, especially from government actors. If these responses remain limited or dismissive, the campaign risks remaining symbolic rather than transformative. Conversely, constructive dialogue and policy adjustments could enhance its potential for lasting social change. This research concludes that while digital activism demonstrates significant potential in mobilizing public awareness and engagement, its success in driving tangible change requires sustained public participation, media amplification, and proactive institutional responses. Thus, #KaburAjaDulu not only highlights the power of social media in voicing dissent but also underscores the challenges of translating online momentum into concrete societal transformation.

Abstract

The decline in national character, evidenced by various social problems, underscores the urgency of holistic and sustainable character education. The golden age of early childhood is a crucial phase for instilling fundamental values, as children at this age possess unique characteristics and are highly receptive to environmental stimuli. This literature review aims to analyze the role of Metta, a concept of universal loving-kindness from Buddhist teachings, in shaping the character of early childhood. The research method is a qualitative literature study, analyzing and synthesizing information from journal articles, books, and scientific sources related to Metta, child developmental psychology, and spirituality-based interventions. The analysis reveals that Metta is not merely a philosophical concept but a practical framework that can be implemented. The principles of Metta—such as loving-kindness, non-violence, and the wish for others' well-being—have a substantial link to the development of pro-social behavior, empathy, and emotional regulation in children. These findings are supported by studies on mindfulness-based interventions which show significant improvements in the social-emotional competence of preschoolers. This report also identifies Classroom Action Research (PTK) as an ideal methodology for empirically testing the effectiveness of Metta-based learning in the future. The proposed PTK framework is intended to serve as a guide for researchers and practitioners. The conclusion of this study is that Metta holds great potential as a foundation for early childhood character education and deserves consideration as a component of a comprehensive curriculum.

Abstract

Credit scoring is an important process in the financial world to accurately identify the risk of prospective debtors. This study aims to build a credit scoring model by comparing the performance of several machine learning algorithms, namely XGBoost, random forest, and logistic regression. The dataset used is part of the training data and test data with several ratios, namely 70:30, 75:25, and 80:20. The preparation process is carried out through variable selection using the 5C principle, missing value imputation, categorical transformation of variables, and creation of derived features. Furthermore, modeling and optimization are carried out for each model to improve classification performance, especially in recognizing debtors who have the potential to default. The evaluation results show that the XGBoost model has the best performance with an accuracy of 84.8%, a precision of 84.9% and a recall of 84.7%, and an AUC of 92.3%. The main assessment of the character principle is the external credit score variable, the main assessment of the capacity principle is income, the main assessment of the capital principle is car ownership, the main assessment of the collateral principle is the credit financing ratio, and the main assessment of the condition principle is the regional rating.

Abstract

Seaweed (Kappaphycus alvarezii) is a potential marine biological resource in Indonesia, especially in Palasa Village, Sumenep, East Java. The conventional (long-line) method applied in cultivation is still not effective and efficient enough. The urgency in this study is that the decrease in production output is influenced by environmental disturbances, such as pest attacks, strong currents and waves, as well as the problem of using plastic bottle floats in conventional cultivation methods that are not environmentally friendly. Therefore, there is a need to develop cultivation methods to increase seaweed productivity. This study aims to analyze seaweed productivity using Kajarula (Seaweed Net Bag) technology at the cultivation location of Palasa Village, Sumenep, East Java. This study uses the Group Random Design (RAK) method. The research began with the measurement of the physical-chemical quality of the waters, the creation of a design for making Kajarula from the clumps, monitoring the growth of seaweed, monitoring the quality of waters, monitoring pests and diseases, and the productivity of seaweed. Data analysis using seaweed productivity parameters including biomass production, relative growth, growth, absolute growth rate, and total harvest. The data obtained is then tabulated using the Ms. Excel application to produce representative data in the form of graphs and tables, and analyzed descriptively. From the results of the study, seaweed cultivated for 42 days produced an average biomass production of 5.54 ± 0.27 kg/unit, a relative growth of 153.41 ± 10.97%/day; growth 754 ± 27 g/binding point; absolute growth rate of 239.32 ± 21.95 g/day; and a total harvest of 5.26 – 5.82 kg/unit of bag. The water quality condition in these waters is in the optimal range in supporting the growth of seaweed. Productivity of cultivation, seaweed using Kajarula technology shows optimal growth and yield.

Abstract

The Tanami Tanata Movement in Makassar City is a public administration innovation that integrates organic waste management with urban farming practices. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that this movement is able to significantly reduce the generation of organic waste while strengthening family food security. Public administration innovations can be seen through multi-actor collaboration, participatory governance platforms, the implementation of local circular economy, and the digitization of services through the "Sampah Tukar Sayur" program. The integration of waste management with urban farming results in a sustainable cycle from waste to productive resources, which provides ecological, social, and economic benefits. In addition, this program encourages the birth of micro businesses based on urban agriculture and increases public awareness of the principle of zero waste. This study emphasizes the importance of collaboration-based public administration innovation in addressing urban challenges while supporting the achievement of sustainable development goals.

Abstract

Gonococcal conjunctivitis is a bacterial eye infection caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae. This infection can occur in neonates or sexually active adults. Neisseria gonorrhoeae causes urogenital, rectal, pharyngeal infections, and hyperacute conjunctivitis. This bacterium can also invade the corneal epithelium, induce corneal stromal keratolysis, and corneal perforation. Gonococcal conjunctivitis usually presents with symptoms of severe mucopurulent conjunctivitis accompanied by eyelid edema, tenderness, and preauricular lymphadenopathy. This disease is usually associated with a Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) but can also occur without genital infection. This case report is to report a case of gonococcal conjunctivitis in a neonate who has never had ANC, reviewed from the diagnosis and management of gonococcal conjunctivitis. By. a 20-day-old girl, to the pediatric clinic of Dr. Soegiri Lamongan complained of a swollen left eye accompanied by a large amount of yellow discharge for a week at home. Gonococcal conjunctivitis in neonates generally occurs due to direct transmission during delivery and exposure to infectious vaginal secretions. Antenatal care is crucial for maternal infection screening. Vertical transmission to the neonate can be prevented by administering antibiotics to the mother or applying antiseptic solutions to the baby's eyes immediately after birth. The diagnosis is based on history, physical examination, and supporting tests. This patient had a corneal ulcer complication, leading to a poor prognosis.
