Abstract

Economic globalization has brought significant changes to the labor market structure, where competition is no longer limited to the local or national level but extends across international borders. In this context, university graduates are required not only to possess academic knowledge but also innovative capabilities and entrepreneurial skills to compete globally. Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 2024 shows that 11.28% of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral graduates between August 2022 and August 2024 were unemployed, highlighting the urgency of strengthening entrepreneurship education. This research aims to analyze The Role of Entrepreneurship Education in Enhancing Students' Innovation Capability and Competitiveness in Facing the 4.0 Era. A qualitative method, through a literature review, was employed, analyzing various relevant sources such as journals, books, and articles published in the last five years. The results indicate that entrepreneurship education plays a crucial role in shaping an innovative mindset, building self-confidence, and preparing students to create their own job opportunities. Effective implementation requires competent lecturers, adequate infrastructure, and sustainable programs integrated with technological developments. Thus, entrepreneurship education not only enhances individual competencies but also contributes to reducing unemployment rates and supporting national economic growth.

Abstract

Gatot Soebroto Hospital, as a leading hospital in Indonesia, faces challenges in optimizing the use of resources, particularly in the Nuclear Medicine Installation, where the increase in the number of patients is not matched by proportionate revenue growth. This research aims to enhance operational efficiency at the RSPAD Gatot Soebroto Nuclear Medicine Installation by utilizing the Incremental Capital Output Ratio (ICOR) method. The research method employs a quantitative approach with time series data analysis of financial statements from 2020 to 2024, complemented by semi-structured interviews. Despite advancements in medical technology, the hospital struggles with resource optimization, particularly the mismatch between patient volume growth and income generation. Through a comprehensive analysis, the study identifies inefficiencies in capital utilization and proposes lean management principles to minimize waste in hospital processes. The findings reveal fluctuations in investment efficiency, with recommendations for prioritizing impactful investments, optimizing digital systems, and improving collaboration with third parties. This research contributes to both theoretical understanding and practical applications for enhancing hospital performance.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology and social media in Indonesia has transformed the landscape of public interaction and expression. However, this progress is accompanied by a significant increase in defamation cases through electronic media, creating complex challenges for law enforcement and the application of the principle of justice. This research aims to analyze the application of justice principles and the effectiveness of legal remedies in imposing criminal sanctions against convicted individuals for defamation through electronic media, based on five court decisions in Indonesia. The issues examined include: (1) how justice principles are applied in criminal verdicts for defamation cases through electronic media; and (2) to what extent legal remedies are effective in addressing sentencing disparities in cases with similar legal elements. The research method used is normative juridical, with a case and statutory approach. The findings reveal significant variation in the application of justice by judges, ranging from imprisonment to suspended sentences, depending on judicial sensitivity to social context and understanding of freedom of expression. On the other hand, the effectiveness of legal remedies is generally weak, especially in cases brought to the Supreme Court, where substantive legal arguments are not accommodated. The study recommends reform in cybercriminal law and the development of sentencing guidelines specifically for Electronic Information and Transaction Law-related offenses. The research analyzed five court decisions showing disparities in criminal sanctions despite similar legal elements, indicating inconsistent application of legal certainty and justice principles that should serve as the foundation of criminal law.

Abstract

In today's dynamic and competitive business environment, organizations are constantly striving to enhance their innovation capabilities to maintain competitiveness. While innovation capability and knowledge sharing have been recognized as key factors, the role of innovation strategy as a moderating variable in the relationship between these two factors remains underexplored. This research aims to develop a model of the connection between innovation capability (IC), knowledge sharing (KS), and innovation strategy (IS), through a systematic literature review. This research employs a systematic literature review method, analyzing articles from Scopus and Web of Science databases published between 2003 and 2020. Content analysis was conducted on selected articles that met the inclusion criteria. The findings indicate that innovation strategy plays a moderating role in the relationship between innovation capability and knowledge sharing. The integration process between innovation variables and knowledge sharing has the potential to leverage enhancing innovation capability, which ultimately can improve organizational performance. The model developed in this study provides a theoretical contribution to understanding the mechanism of strengthening innovation capability through knowledge sharing practices moderated by innovation strategy. These findings also have practical implications for management in developing effective strategies to enhance organizational innovation capability.

Abstract

This study examines the role of sustainability reports in mediating the relationship between good corporate governance (GCG) and profitability on corporate sustainability performance. The independent variables in this study are GCG and profitability, with sustainability reports as the mediating variable, and sustainability performance as the dependent variable. The study population was companies included in the IDX30 index for the 2021–2024 period. The sample selection used a purposive sampling method with certain criteria, resulting in 115 observations. Data analysis was conducted using panel regression and the Sobel mediation test with the help of Stata software version 17. The results show that GCG has a significant positive effect on sustainability reports. Meanwhile, profitability has a significant negative effect on sustainability reports. Conversely, GCG has a significant negative effect on sustainability performance. Meanwhile, profitability has a significant positive effect on sustainability performance. Sustainability reports are proven to have no significant effect on sustainability performance. Sustainability reports also do not act as a mediator in the relationship between GCG and profitability on sustainability performance. For academics, the results of this study can serve as a reference in developing studies related to sustainability performance by adding variables and a wider sample coverage. For companies, these findings emphasize the importance of improving the quality and relevance of sustainability reports. The government can use these results to strengthen regulations related to sustainability reporting, while investors can consider GCG implementation and sustainability reporting in investment decisions.

Abstract

Insomnia is a sleep disorder characterized by difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep. The causative factors can be related to stress, anxiety, irregular lifestyles, as well as certain medical conditions. Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual practice that has a variety of techniques, including posture (asana), breathing (pranayama), and meditation. The practice of yoga can help reduce stress and promote relaxation, which is important for overcoming insomnia. Yoga and meditation provide benefits such as improving sleep quality, reducing anxiety and stress, increasing awareness of the body, and improving emotional balance. Yoga and meditation should be considered as complementary to other approaches in the treatment of insomnia, such as lifestyle changes, stress management, and if necessary, the use of therapy or medical treatment. To get the maximum benefits, it is important to practice yoga and meditation regularly. This can be done by scheduling a specific time each day to practice. Abstract

The project area in RDMP RU V Balikpapan includes a T-junction at Gate 3, which is an un-signalized intersection frequently experiencing traffic congestion due to project worker activities and area traffic. This congestion reduces vehicle speeds and impacts road performance, especially at the un-signalized intersection on Yos Sudarso Street, Gate 3. This study aims to identify congestion causes and assess the level of service (LOS) at this T-junction within the RDMP RU V Balikpapan area. Data analysis and intersection performance calculations follow the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI 2014). Observational surveys were conducted over three days: Saturday (October 26, 2024), Monday (October 28, 2024), and Tuesday (October 29, 2024), with data collected every 15 minutes over 12 hours. Results show the highest peak flow occurred on Monday, October 28, 2024, during the evening peak hour (17:30–17:45), with a traffic volume of 1,354.9 passenger car units (PCU) per hour. The capacity (c) of the un-signalized T-junction at Gate 3 is 2,637.5 PCU per hour, with a Degree of Saturation (DS) of 0.5. This corresponds to LOS category C, indicating stable but not free-flowing traffic. The intersection delay (DT) averages 5.8 seconds per vehicle. Queue probability is low, with an upper bound at 0.247% and a lower bound at 0.0065%, indicating manageable congestion levels at this intersection.

Abstract

The digital fitness industry is growing with the adoption of technology that encourages gyms to optimize Customer Relationship Management (CRM). One of the innovative strategies used is gamification, which is the application of game elements such as points, badges, leaderboards, challenges, and streaks in customer interaction. This study examines the effectiveness of gamification in FitHub Yogyakarta's CRM to increase customer participation and retention. The theoretical foundations used are Self-Determination Theory (SDT), which emphasizes basic psychological needs, and the Stimulus–Organism–Response (S-O-R) model, which describes the psychological process from gamification stimulus to response in the form of involvement. Previous empirical evidence suggests gamification is effective in increasing engagement, loyalty, and physical activity behavior. However, research in the context of Indonesian fitness centers is still limited. Therefore, this study contributes theoretically to the development of gamification literature and the practicality of providing gamification-based strategies for gym managers.

Abstract

The failure of the supervision system and sanctioning mechanisms to address the negligence of judges has created an urgent need to reform the justice system. Disparities in the independence and accountability of judges create accountability gaps in the justice system. This study uses a juridical-normative approach to analyze positive legal norms, legal principles, and the systematics of laws and regulations related to the accountability of judges for negligence in deciding criminal cases. This study reconceptualizes culpa lata into two categories: negligence that leads to KKN, using the Theory of Rational Choice, Theory of Opportunity, and the Theory of White Collar Crime based on motives and manipulation attempts. Non-KKN Negligence, in the first phase, examines the individual level based on Social Control Theory. The second phase analyzes the failure of the supervisory system to function at the institutional level using the Theory of Sociological Institutionalism and the Theory of Rational Choice Institutionalism. The findings suggest that criminalizing culpa lata is a last resort. Therefore, the authors propose an integrated concept consisting of three components: the evaluation of AI-based judgments synergized with the merit system as a tool for detecting negligence, the special court as the final judicial forum, and the criminalization of culpa lata as a sanction mechanism. This concept aims to balance judicial independence with accountability through effective and organized mechanisms in order to restore public trust and realize the role of the Supreme Court in Indonesia.
