Abstract

The advancement of information technology in the healthcare sector encourages hospitals to adopt Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service quality. This study aims to analyze the implementation of EMR at Balaraja Regional Public Hospital (RSUD Balaraja) using the PIECES framework (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency, and Service). A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected through observations and indepth interviews involving seven informants from the medical records unit. The results show that in terms of performance, the EMR system is responsive and supports staff tasks, although integration between systems remains a challenge. From the information aspect, the system is considered accurate and accessible, yet lacks automated data validation. Economically, the EMR system has improved resource efficiency and reduced long-term operational costs. In terms of control, data security is well managed through personal user accounts and system backups. The efficiency aspect reflects faster workflows and reduced manual processes. From the service perspective, the system enhances user satisfaction and convenience, though occasional technical issues still occur. This study recommends improving system integration and conducting continuous training to optimize EMR implementation at RSUD Balaraja.

Abstract

SDN 3 Mrayan Ngrayun Ponorogo has made innovations in supporting the strengthening of character education through the provision of reading corners in every classroom. This initiative emerged as a response to students' low interest in reading, the lack of fun character learning media, and the need for facilities that are able to instill moral values consistently. The reading corner is not only a place to read, but also a means of character formation through habituation and interaction with reading with positive values. This study aims to identify the role of the reading corner in strengthening students' character education at SDN 3 Mrayan Ngrayun Ponorogo, as well as identify the obstacles and impacts caused. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the reading corner has a strategic role as a means of habituating character values. Through habituation activities in the reading corner, students get used to being independent, choosing readings according to their interests, and obeying the applicable rules. The reading corner also instills an honest attitude and responsibility in caring for books, including reporting if there is damage, and encouraging cooperation through decorating, tidying up, and reading together. However, the implementation of the reading corner still faces obstacles in the form of limited book collections, lack of variety of literacy activities, the absence of special managers, and limited financial support. The impact of the reading corner is real, as can be seen from the habits of students who are more independent in activities in the reading corner without direction, dare to convey the content of the reading, show an honest attitude, and are able to cooperate with friends. This finding confirms that the reading corner is not only a literacy facility, but also an effective medium in strengthening character education through simple and meaningful habituation, so that more comprehensive measurement of effectiveness is needed in the future

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of digital transformation in the accounting system on the transparency and accountability of financial statements in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Digital transformation includes the use of technologies such as cloud-based record-keeping, transaction automation, and accounting applications that support real-time and accountable financial record-keeping. The results show that digital transformation has a significant positive effect on transparency with a coefficient of 0.876 and on accountability of 0.737. The R-square value of 76.7% for transparency and 54.4% for accountability shows the strong contribution of digital transformation to both variables. This research provides practical implications for MSMEs to improve financial governance through the application of digital technology.

Abstract

Neuropathic plantar diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) represent a major clinical problem due to their high risk of infection, prolonged morbidity, and frequent progression to amputation. Although standardized offloading remains the cornerstone of management, the role of antimicrobial dressings in improving outcomes compared with non-antimicrobial moist dressings remains controversial. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of antimicrobial dressings in enhancing ulcer healing and reducing adverse outcomes in patients with neuropathic plantar DFUs managed under standardized offloading. A systematic review and meta-analysis was conducted following PRISMA guidelines. PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, and ClinicalTrials.gov were searched through August 2025. Eligible studies included randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and observational studies comparing antimicrobial dressings (silver, PHMB, honey, iodine) with non-antimicrobial moist dressings. Outcomes assessed were complete healing at 12–16 weeks, amputation rates, and antibiotic use. Data were pooled using random-effects models, and risk of bias was assessed with Cochrane RoB 2.0 and the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale. Fifteen studies (eight RCTs, seven observational) met the inclusion criteria. Pooled results indicated antimicrobial dressings improved healing rates (OR ? 2.1, 95% CI 1.5–3.0), with silver dressings showing modest benefits in infection-related outcomes. However, no consistent effect on amputation rates or antibiotic duration was observed, and the largest RCT (2023) showed no significant benefit over standard moist dressings. Antimicrobial dressings may provide selective benefit in severe or infected ulcers but lack consistent superiority for routine use. These findings suggest that clinicians should adopt a targeted, adjunctive approach while further multicenter RCTs clarify subgroup effects.

Abstract

The re-emergence of the March 23 Movement (M23) in Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has reignited tensions in the Great Lakes Region, exposing deep-rooted historical, ethnic, political, and economic grievances. This study analyzes the causes, dynamics, and consequences of the rebellion, situating it within the colonial legacy, state fragility, and regional competition, with particular emphasis on the roles of Rwanda and Uganda. Using Conflict Theory and Realist International Relations Theory, the research highlights key drivers of conflict, including the socio-political marginalization of the Congolese Tutsi minority, competition over vast natural resources, and the weakness of the Congolese state. Qualitative methods and secondary data from UN, AU, and NGO reports form the basis of this analysis. Findings reveal that the rebellion persists due to unfulfilled peace agreements, ethnic divisions, and the shadow economy fueled by illicit resource extraction. The consequences are severe: over a million displaced people, widespread human rights abuses, and devastated livelihoods. Despite interventions by the East African Community, MONUSCO, and international sanctions, mistrust, weak institutions, and conflicting regional interests hinder peace. The study concludes that only a holistic peacebuilding process—encompassing regional cooperation, accountability for war crimes, governance reforms, and inclusive economic growth—can break the cycle of violence and foster stability in Eastern DRC and the wider Great Lakes Region.

Abstract

In the context of the increasingly competitive and accountability-demanding telecommunications industry, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) communication is a crucial element in building trust and social legitimacy. This study explores and evaluates the perceived effectiveness of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) communication strategies implemented by Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH), particularly during its critical post-merger period. Adopting a qualitative, multi-method approach using triangulation, the research involved internal and external stakeholder surveys alongside netnographic observation of social media responses. Findings indicate that IOH's CSR communication is generally perceived as effective: most external stakeholders (78%) found the information transparent and easy to understand. Social media, with Instagram (45%) and Facebook (25%) as leading platforms, proved highly influential for CSR content. While message credibility was noted, service-related complaints often undermined perceived sincerity. Most external respondents (73%) reported an improved brand perception due to CSR initiatives. However, internal stakeholders expressed a strong desire for deeper involvement in CSR planning. Practically, the study suggests optimizing communication platforms and diversifying content to strengthen legitimacy and trust in this highly scrutinized sector.
