Abstract

Population density in a large city such as Medan will have many impacts on the community. However, often people, either individuals or groups who want to live or live in the city of Medan, choose their location at will without knowing the existing population density classification, so that they can have a big problem impact on the community or tend to be in a circle of huge problems they will face. if you do not know, choose the place of residence that the community will occupy. The community's ignorance of the location of population density in the city of Medan is due to the absence of knowledge or information on population density mapping. So it is necessary to map the population density as new knowledge for the community to avoid or reduce the impact that will be experienced by people who want to live or reside in the city of Medan. This population density mapping will be grouped into 3 groups (clusters) using the K-Means Cluster algorithm, namely very dense (cluster1), dense (cluster2), and medium (cluster3). The results of population density mapping in the city of Medan, namely the very densely populated area of 121 kelurahan, the densely populated area is 30 sub-districts, and areas are no longer found in the city of Medan.

Abstract

Geographic Information System ia a geospatial software system that has the ability to build, store, manage and display geo-referenced information, for example data that is identified by location. By using GIS, it is expected that it will be easier for prospective students and students to find out the location of boarding houses that are located around the campus of Mulawarman University. The system development method uses the waterfall method. While the system design method uses UML (Unified Modelling Language) to visualize, determine, develop and document a software system. The algorithm used in this study uses the haversine formula which will later help to find the nearest boarding house location around the campus of Mulawarman University, the haversine formula will produce the shortest distance between two points, for example on a ball taken from the longitude and latitude. The result of this study will disply detailed boarding location information, besides that on this geograpihic information system the user will later be able to see the details of boarding and admin data can change, add data to the boarding owner and be technically responsible for the running of the application, while the boarding owner is only responsible on managing boarding data on their respective users.

Abstract

The development of questionnaires that can capture usability problems in each case is expected to be more effective and efficient. At present, the use of e-questionnaires has evolved with the use of technologies such as the emergence of monkey surveys, type forms, google forms, Zoho surveys, and gizmo surveys that can be used to facilitate the work of creating, distributing and retrieving survey feedback online. This research tries to build an e-questionnaire model using Codeigniter and react-js which can be used as an alternative while prioritizing the appearance of end-users by adopting the Google form service but having features by being able to add questions in the form of multimedia and also being able to disseminate information on survey results with the concept of sharing datasets to various digital online sources. The methodology used in the research to be carried out is the DSRM (Design Science Research Method) method and at the research, the stage consists of; problem identification, defining objects and solutions, design and development, implementation, evaluation, and conclusion. This research resulted in an e-questionnaire application that can be used as an alternative while prioritizing the appearance of end-users by adopting the Google form service but has features that can add questions in the form of multimedia and can also disseminate survey results with the concept of sharing datasets to various digital sources. online with the use of the Codelnigter and React-Js framework can improve effective appearance while maintaining system security. It is hoped that the e-questionnaire can increase the distribution of research data in the form of electronic datasets and can be fully used as a reference for researchers in Indonesia, especially AMIK Indonesia.

Abstract

The chili plant is a plant that is generally widely cultivated in the territory of Indonesia, both in the highlands to the lowlands. Chili cultivation is a business opportunity for farmers to increase their income which is quite large. Chili is a plant that is classified as a vegetable and spice group that has an image of a spicy taste that evokes appetite. However, some farmers are still not maximally able to get increased production yields. The problem faced by farmers today is a failure in the yields that are not good enough. The process of selecting chili plants by farmers is still not optimal, lack of knowledge in determining chili plants. With a decision support system, it can help farmers to solve existing problems. Fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision Making makes it easier for farmers to determine the alternatives and selected criteria, from the results of the analysis calculation to get the optimal value for the selected alternative, red chili plants A_2 get the highest integral value. A_2 The total value of the integral ∝ =0 (0.39063), ∝ =0,5 (0.54167), ∝ =1 (0.69271).

Abstract

Micro-sleep (MS) is a short sleep condition ranging from 1 to 30 seconds, where people who experience this condition fail to respond to motor sensors and become unconscious. Micro-sleep often occurs as a result of lack of sleep, but not always micro-sleep is caused by lack of sleep, some cases explain that micro-sleep sufferers are also experienced by those who do during monotonous work. Micro-sleep becomes very important when this condition involves dangerous conditions. Even though it's only a few seconds, of course this is very dangerous, and may be one of the main causes of accidents. By utilizing sensor technology, we can do realtime monitoring of the data of the owner, so that a tool that can detect the condition of the driver who has micro-sleep can be developed. With this information the micro-sleep detector will make a warning to the driver. This is expected to reduce the number of accidents caused by micro-sleep.

Abstract

Advances in technology that can’t be separated from human life, making information easier to obtain. The results of a survey conducted by APJII on the penetration of internet users in 2018 based on age, stated that the use of the internet was dominated by young people. For this reason, it is hoped that in the future there will be improvements in numbers in the form of equitable use of ICT in all provinces in Indonesia. This research was conducted based on the clustering of young people who are ICT literate. The amount of data used is in accordance with the current number of Indonesian provinces, which are thirty-four provinces using the K-Means algorithm. The dataset in this study was obtained from the official government website https://.www.bps.go.id/ from 2017 to 2019. Clustering was carried out only to group provinces into two types of groups, which can later be used as evaluation material for the government in the framework of the equitable distribution of ICT in each province. The final result of this study is that there are twenty-five provinces that are included in cluster 1 and nine provinces are included in cluster group 2. Thus it is necessary to increase the ICT literacy rate for provincial clusters whose values are still lagging behind other provinces.

Abstract

One of the business actors, in this case, is that the company is required to consider reducing the risks faced. One of them is PT. Indopratama Jaya Mandiri is a company engaged in consulting and insurance claims. In the billing process, it is no longer possible to use the help of the Ms. application. Excel for the data, as well as customer billing that is paid more than once, either to direct insurance or to the company. The information generated requires a long time. This can have an impact especially on the billing department, which can result in a waste of time and costs and other errors due to the payment process that uses two vendors. Method of Rapid Application Development (RAD) The author chose because this method has the advantage of being able to obtain the right system because the system is divided into several versions and the most important functions to be tested. The results obtained are information systems that can overcome problems that have been faced by companies related to insurance billing to customers.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence technology AI (Artificial Intelligence) has been widely applied in various fields of daily life. AI (Artificial Intelligence) is divided into several branches, one of which is Machine Learning. Machine Learning is developed based on statistics, mathematics and data mining so that machines can learn by analyzing data without needing to be reprogrammed. With the development of the music world, not many people and the current generation know about traditional music from their respective regions. Traditional musical instruments produce sound art that has its own characteristics and uniqueness which is passed down from generation to generation. Therefore, to simplify the process of recognizing each musical instrument, a system was created that can classify traditional musical instruments using machine learning. The methods used in this research are librosa and tensorflow, where tensorflow is used for numerical computing and large-scale machine learning projects that have the best performance in classifying. In this study using Python 3.6 as a programming language and using PyCharm as a Integrated Development Environment (IDE). From the results, the system accuracy as expected after being tested several times, namely 91%.

Abstract

BAZNAS Papua Province has several stages that must be carried out in the process of distributing Zakat, Infaq and Sadaqah (ZIS) to the mustahiq, one of the stages is mustahiq assessment survey on the field. With a large number of mustahiq being surveyed every day and the eligibility assessing process still be carried out manually utilizing survey form recording, the survey stage of the ZIS distribution process takes a long time. In addition, physical document usage continues to increase every day becomes more susceptible to damaged and loss and requires extensive storage in the archiving process. This study uses a PIECES analysis method as well as system development use a Waterfall method. Furthermore, the Unified Modeling Language (UML) method is used to design the system. The system is built on web-based using the PHP programming language and the MariaDB database. The results of this study are the Management Information System of Mustahiq Eligibility Assessment at BAZNAS Papua Province that is capable of organizing mustahiq data, assessing mustahiq eligibility and minimizing the usage of physical documents in the ZIZ distribution process. The system is built to produce information about mustahiq recommendation that is capable of assist BAZNAS Papua Province to come to a final decision.

Abstract

The technology of buying and selling goods in managing goods in and out will provide convenience for the management in managing stock data, financial control and profit calculation that will be immediately known by stakeholders. Forecasting method is a method that is able to analyze several factors that are known to influence the occurrence of an event with a long grace period between the need for knowledge of an event to occur in the future and the time the event has occurred in the past. In a retail company, if this forecasting method is applied in the planning of goods management, the company will be assisted in the process of planning the sale of goods which is currently still being done by predicting the amount of sales of goods that will come without any calculation, causing excessive purchases of goods that can affect the stock of goods. Single exponential smoothing method is a development of the single moving averages method where the forecasting method is done by repeating calculations continuously using the latest data and each data is weighted. The single exponential smoothing method considers the weight of the previous data by giving weight to each data period to distinguish the priority of data. The single exponential smoothing method is a method used in short-term forecasting that is usually only 1 month ahead which assumes that the data fluctuates around a fixed mean value without consistent trends or growth patterns. The accuracy of the application of the single exponential method in forecasting sales of goods in this study with an alpha value of 0.1 on the MAPE calculation average is 2%.
