PaKMas (Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat) juga meliputi kegiatan pengabdian, seperti: bidang ilmu pengetahuan, sosial, ekonomi, kesehatan, budaya, terapan, pengembangan TIK, dan pelayanan administrasi. Serta pelatihan dan peningkatan hasil pendidikan, pertanian, informasi dan komunikasi, pengajaran, pemberdayaan komunitas (komunitas pelajar dan pemuda) dan organisasi masyarakat secara berkelanjutan. Jurnal PaKMas terbit 2 kali setahun pada bulan Mei dan November.

Abstract

Gadget users in general and smartphones in particular are growing rapidly in Indonesia, including children. The purpose of this service is to provide information regarding the impact of gadgets and strategies for using gadgets on children to minimize the impact of excessive gadget use on children. The service method used is to carry out psychoeducation for parents so that parents know how to deal with gadget disturbances in children. The results of the service show that with psychoeducation, parents obtain information related to the characteristics of child development, children's motives for playing gadgets, strategies for using gadgets in children so that children can use gadgets for positive purposes. Thus, it can be concluded that psychoeducation can have an effect on increasing parental knowledge regarding strategies for using gadgets in children. The suggestion for the implementation of further dedication is that parents are involved not only mothers, but fathers are also involved because the effectiveness of gadget management strategies for children requires discipline. for all family members at home.

Abstract

The presence of a child is the biggest and most beautiful gift for every parent. Parents in a family have an obligation to provide all needs including basic needs to their children. Parents raise their children with certain patterns, including parents who raise authoritarian, democratic or permissive patterns. children, manage children at will without caring if children also have the right to their own lives. The implementation of this service is carried out by the lecture method. Through a psychoeducation program on toxic parenting for adolescents, it shows that participants understand and add insight regarding definitions, factors that cause toxic parenting, impacts, and strategies for dealing with toxic parenting with a more positive attitude, and strategies for managing the impact of the relationship between parents and the participants themselves. The results of this service show that the youth participants gained knowledge of the definition of toxic parenting, the factors that influence the formation of toxic parenting, the impact of toxic parenting on adolescents, and strategies for dealing with toxic parenting. Based on the results of the service, it is recommended to provide psychoeducation for adolescents so that adolescents can be better able to deal with toxic parenting with more positive strategies.

Abstract

PT. Putra Pelangi Perkasa is one of the companies engaged in AKAP (Inter-City Inter-Provincial) passenger transportation services. In supporting its business, the company has a website-based information system, namely https://www.putrapelangi.com/. However, the website currently used by the company is only specifically used for internal companies. Customers who will order tickets are still done conventionally by visiting the company counter directly so that this process is very ineffective and efficient. Therefore, by designing a website-based information system for ordering bus tickets for PT. Putra Pelangi Perkasa can solve problems in the current system. This system was designed using Balsamiq Mockups 3 and the Unified Modeling Language (UML) system modeling using the Laravel framework. The method of testing this system is black-box and the results of the study show that the bus ticket booking information system that was built is very effective and efficient for use in ordering bus tickets because of the search, ordering, payment, cancellation of bus tickets, and seeing the available seat plans. visualization of the system being built.

Abstract

Advances in technology are influencing people in purchasing drugs online. Purchasing medicines online helps people in their healing efforts because it is easier to get medicines. However, purchasing drugs online is not yet legally certain to get consumer protection. So it is necessary to conduct counseling for a culture of legal awareness in purchasing drugs over the counter.  The counseling activity aims to increase cadres' knowledge about the signs that drugs are not suitable for consumption, and Cadre transmits to the community so that a culture of legal awareness is realized in purchasing drugs in free. Methods used in this activity by providing counseling (knowledge transfer). The result of this activity is that cadres' knowledge about the signs of unfit for consumption and damaged drugs has increased by 20%, Resistance about the dangers of consuming damaged drugs has increased by 45%.  Respondents' knowledge on how to choose the right drug seller increased by 25%, how to check the expiration date increased by 30%, how to check for drugs that are still good increased by 25% and how to choose drugs that can be given freely increased by 35%.  At the time of counseling, cadres have not fully implemented a spec budaya hukum, it is hoped that cadres can provide information obtained at PKK meetings within their respective RTs so as to build a legal system of cultural aspects.

Abstract

Every organization needs a credible accounting system to facilitate the process of recording and accounting related to the receipt and expenditure of money. Without a credible accounting system, it will have a systemic impact and affect the main activities of the organization. This community service was attended by participants from the finance and accounting staff at the Sabatu Rehabilitation Center. This activity aims to provide consultation in correcting the shortcomings of the existing accounting system. This activity received a positive response from the participants. This activity starts from the introduction and understanding of the accounting system that is currently running then continued with the exposure of the shortcomings and weaknesses of the accounting system that has currently been implemented. This activity ended with providing suggestions for improvements to the accounting system in the future. This activity was held at 08.30 – 12.00 WIB and continued through communication media for further assistance. It is important for a foundation to have reliable financial statements. Reliable financial statements will reflect the actual financial condition experienced by the foundation. In addition to being precise in carrying out good accounting records, foundations need to control their assets.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide broader knowledge, understanding and insight to young people, especially students and employees related to accounting. This activity aims to enable participants to understand the definition of accounting, the history of accounting, the purpose of accounting itself, and have a good understanding of the contents of financial statements so that this knowledge can become a provision in the future when these young people enter the world of work or the world of investment or even become an expert in accounting later. This activity is carried out online through the Google Meet application. The target of this activity is young people aged 17 to 20 years who are in Pontianak, West Kalimantan. The number of participants in this activity was 66 participants. This activity took place on Saturday, March 4 2023 and went very well due to good cooperation and coordination from the various parties involved. This activity is expected to be able to contribute and have a positive impact on increasing the knowledge and understanding of participants regarding accounting and can provide broader views and insights for participants

Abstract

In the marketing era, more effort is needed to attract consumers to read advertisements made by business actors. Therefore marketers must be able to make sentences that can make consumers interested in seeing further advertisements and arrive at the stage of making purchases and many things that will happen later change into more complex challenges that will be faced by entrepreneurs where the presence of new technology is one of the originator of a new consumer lifestyle that makes it easier for them to carry out their living activities in a society that is smarter with the presence of new technology. Strategy acceleration must be carried out especially in the field of marketing and more specifically in digital marketing. This is important because almost all information is circulating on social media and because of that copywriting is a skill that must be owned by business people, especially for those who use the internet as a means of promotion and in this case more specifically on social media. Abstract

This community service aims to provide training to PAUD teachers in Parigi District, Parigi Moutong Regency in the form of providing knowledge so that teachers can understand making online learning videos. The subjects in this study were 16 teachers at Aisyiyah Dolago Kindergarten, Parigi Moutong Regency. The method used is in the form of training and education, namely by using pretest and posttest, lectures, discussions, ice breaker, energizer and games. Furthermore, the data is processed using SPPSS 16.0 for windows, namely the gain score and inferential test. The results of the service show that there is a positive and significant influence of technical training on teachers' understanding of teachers' understanding of making online learning videos. This is shown by Sig < α (0.016 < 0.05) meaning that the gain score of the teacher's understanding of making online learning videos before training is significantly different from after training. In addition, it can be seen from the results of the average pretest score in the teacher group, namely 64.6, while in the posttest, the average score increased to 96.7. In the teacher group, the highest score in the pretest was 85, while in the posttest the highest score increased to 115. Furthermore, the lowest score in the teacher group in the pretest was 39 and in the posttest it increased to 79. In the teacher group, the standard deviation value in the pretest was 13.84 and in the posttest that is 11.1. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that training is effective for teacher understanding regarding making learning videos for PAUD teachers in Parigi District, Parigi Moutong Regency.

Abstract

Oil palm is an important industrial plant producing cooking oil, industrial oil and fuel. Anaiwoi Village, Tanggetada District, Kolaka Regency is one of the locations of oil palm plantation centers in the province of Southeast Sulawesi. Palm oil is one of the major staples planted by the community in Anaiwoi village, Tanggetada district, Kolaka regency, almost all the people in this area depend on oil palm for their livelihood. A common problem faced by smallholder oil palm farmers in this region is the lack of information on proper oil palm cultivation and management. So far, independent smallholders or independent smallholders only know how to cultivate in general and have not thought about the many aspects that affect the growth of oil palm seedlings. The solution that can be provided comes in the form of advice related to good oil palm cultivation in accordance with agronomic principles so that the incomes of independent smallholders/independent oil palm grow. To get oil palm plants that can produce optimally, good oil palm cultivation is the main thing to understand. Plants grown according to the right agronomic principles will be able to grow and develop correctly to produce optimally.

Abstract

One form of attention from universities to the social and cultural environment of the community (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi) is through community service activities. With the establishment of a harmonious relationship between Higher Education and the community, it is hoped that it can provide input for improving the quality of Higher Education needed by the community. On November 12, 2022, a Community Service Activity was carried out in the form of a Health Check including checking blood pressure, cholesterol levels, blood sugar levels and uric acid levels, in the Sali Al-Aitaam environment. Health checks were carried out on 173 people in the Sali Al-Aitaam neighborhood. From the results of the examination, there were 102 people (58.9%) with high blood pressure, 67 people (38.7%) with high blood sugar levels, 72 people (41.6%) with high uric acid levels, and 91 people (52.6%) with high cholesterol levels. Hypertension, High Cholesterol, Uric Acid, Blood Sugar diseases from the results of the examinations carried out show that many people still experience these diseases and the cause is because people are less concerned and do not want to do health checks to health workers or independently. Health workers need to provide education to the community in the Sali Al-Aitaam neighborhood about health checks to determine and control blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol and uric acid so as to prevent possible diseases that will arise such as hypertension, diabetes and so on.
