PaKMas (Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat) merupakan jurnal yang didedikasikan untuk mempublikasi hasil-hasil kegiatan Pengabdian yang dilakukan oleh Mahasiswa, Dosen dan seluruh lapisan masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk menyebarluaskan hasil pemikiran dan gagasan konseptual, serta tentang kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat dengan berbagai potensi, hambatan, tantangan, dan permasalahan yang ada di lingkungan masyarakat. PaKMas (Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat) juga meliputi kegiatan pengabdian, seperti: bidang ilmu pengetahuan, sosial, ekonomi, kesehatan, budaya, terapan, pengembangan TIK, dan pelayanan administrasi. Serta pelatihan dan peningkatan hasil pendidikan, pertanian, informasi dan komunikasi, pengajaran, pemberdayaan komunitas (komunitas pelajar dan pemuda) dan organisasi masyarakat secara berkelanjutan. Jurnal PaKMas terbit 2 kali setahun pada bulan Mei dan November.

Abstract

An in-depth study of the perspective of beekeepers in the Village Joho towards zakat becomes very urgent. Because in general research about honey zakat only tends to the naqli arguments and ijtihad of the scholars without involving the farmers themselves who in this case are the main actors in honey zakat. From the description above, it can be formulated the research problem as: the following (1) How is the process and management of honey in Joho Village? (2) How the perspective of beekeepers on the obligation of zakat honey in Joho Village? This type of research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Source primary data, namely honey farmers in Joho Village with data collection in the form of in-depth interviews, observations and documentation which are then analysis using data codification, data presentation, and withdrawal methods conclusion/verification. The results of the study, namely (1) the process and governance in producing honey for beekeepers is by looking at the weather conditions. Because weather conditions have serious consequences on bee stamina and flower growth, where these two things affect the scale of honey income for farmers bee. (2) two according to the perspective of the honey beekeeper community in Joho . Village that, the obligation of zakat honey is considered not an obligation that must be carried out. They consider honey is not something that must be zakat. However, the habit that occurs there is that the breeders give part of the honey harvest to the local community. The gift considered as a form of gratitude for the harvest obtained. There the farmers The majority of Joho Village honey distributes their harvested honey when the results are abundant, so the concept is alms.

Abstract

One area with a large enough land area is Cipinang Village, Beber District, Cirebon Regency. However, as development progresses, Cipinang Village is getting denser over time, and less area will be used for agricultural land. The more the population increases, the greater the demand for food. In order to meet the growing family food supply, every household should have one or more food crops or vegetables for consumption. Therefore, it is necessary to hold outreach activities to the community about the use of narrow land for the cultivation of food crops and vegetables. The purpose of this service is to provide awareness to the community about the importance of utilizing land as well as good cultivation practices based on lectures. The method used is socialization and demonstration plots starting from nurseries to transplanting. The targets of this counseling are housewives and the Cipinang village community. The extension workers in this case are KKN students who carry out counseling and chili planting practices by utilizing village land (Bengkok). The output of this activity is expected that the community can absorb knowledge and practice cayenne pepper planting activities in their yards in order to create food self-sufficiency.

Abstract

COVID-19 has hit the world and has had a major effect on all activities and sectors of the community's economy in the world. This impact also affects state universities' ability to recruit new students, so it requires a strategy to be able to compete with other universities. This research was conducted to determine the strategy carried out by the Faculty of Economics and Business at the Islamic State University of Palangka Raya to attract new students using descriptive-qualitative methods. Data to support this research is sourced from primary data obtained through interviews with the parties concerned and secondary data obtained from various data and documents. This research refers to the theory of personal selling strategies, which includes four strategy processes, namely: attention stage, interest stage, desire stage, and action stage, based on the results of interviews, observations, and other data collection. The results of this socialization show that the campus in accordance with its strategy of netting new students is applying an excellent process.

Abstract

This community service is entitled: "Socialization of Management of Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes)" which was carried out in Uwedikan Village, East Luwuk District, Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. The purpose of this service is to increase knowledge about bumdes management for the uwedikan bumdes management in particular and the uwedikan community in general. This activity is a socialization involving students participating in real work lectures at the University of Muhammadiyah Luwuk Posko Luwuk City. The method of implementing this service activity uses counseling about the socialization of bumdes management which consists of 4 (four) stages, namely: 1). Socialization stage, 2). preparation stage and 3). Implementation stage and 4). Evaluation stage. The result of the implementation of community service activities regarding the socialization of bumdes management is the transfer of knowledge to the bumdes management so that it becomes the basis for managing bumdes to be better, develop and advance in the future so that it can become one of the sources of village finance, namely village original income. The conclusion is the result of the implementation of community service activities regarding the socialization of bumdes management to increase knowledge as a provision in managing the bumdes to be better, while the suggestion is that this socialization can be continued by the community by strengthening the bumdes institution, so as to increase new economic resources for the Uwedikan village community. and the results of this socialization are very useful so that it can be applied by the bumdes management in the Uwedikan village.

Abstract

The purpose of this training activity is to provide broader understanding, knowledge, and insight to employees and management of the company regarding proper internal control and information systems within the company in order to minimize risk and maximize the company’s performance. This training activity is carried out using the lecture method. Participants of this training activity came from the employees and management of PT Sarwa Inspirasi Konstruksi, Pontianak, West Borneo. The number of participants for this training is 10 (person) participants. This training activity went very well because of the good cooperation and coordination of the various parties involved. This training activity is expected to have a positive contribution and impact on the development of the company in the future, both in terms of understanding of employees and company management regarding internal control and good information systems within the company so that the company can develop towards a better direction, more efficient and effective in carrying out the company's operational activities as well as minimizing the risks that may arise and can cause losses in the company.

Abstract

Socialization of Child Friendly Regency/City Development (KLA) is one form of government program activities in fulfilling children's rights. The socialization was carried out in the West Pasaman Region, initiated by the Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning (DP3AP2KB) of West Sumatra Province. This activity aims to socialize Child Friendly Schools as one of the prerequisites for achieving Child Friendly Districts. This socialization method uses interactive lectures and discussions with DPRD members as well as all high school and vocational school principals in West Pasaman Regency and related local government organizations. The presentation shows that the socialization participants are very enthusiastic in asking questions and actively conducting discussions. Participants were given explanations regarding 24 indicators, namely; KLA local regulations, institutionalized KLA, community involvement (business and media), birth certificates, child-friendly information, child participation, consultation institutions for parents or families, alternative supervision institutions, child-friendly infrastructure, health facilities, prevalence of nutrition, PMBA, child-friendly health facilities, drinking water and sanitation, non-smoking areas, PAUD-HI, normal 12 years old, SRA, PKA, victims of violence and exploitation, victims of pornography and emergency situations, persons with disabilities and children with disabilities, stigma. The conclusion of this paper is that to achieve KLA, commitment from various related parties is needed.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service research is to find out the efforts to develop Akhlaqul Karimah for Islamic youth in Dayah Ar-Raudhah Tahfizh Al-qur'an, Blang Mangat District, LhokseumaweAceh-Indonesia, including interviews, discussion, problem solving, exemplary, habituation, advice, and describing the obstacles that affect Ar-Raudhah Tahfizh Al-qur'an, Blang Mangat District, Lhokseumawe City. The subjects in this study were 610 Haizh. While the object of research is 15 Hafizh. The method used is coaching and education. Obstacles that affect the development and education of Islamic youth morality in Dayah Ar-Raudhah Tahfizh Ak-Qur'an are the willingness of some students who are still unfamiliar, the personalities of some students are different and the environment of facilities and infrastructure is still limited.

Abstract

The purpose of community service activities (PkM) is to educate and train State Civil Apparatus (ASN) to have knowledge and skills in evaluating and reconstructing efforts to increase ASN commitment and performance through motivation. Focus group discussions (FGD) and workshops are technical tools to implement this PkM. The main partner of this PkM activity is the ASN of the Kupang City Government which is determined by purposive sampling and quota sampling techniques. PkM participants were 28 people. The SWOT analysis is the basis for PkM education and training to participants. The success of this PkM activity is that participants are educated and have the knowledge and skills in evaluating and reconstructing strategies to increase commitment and performance through motivation. The reconstruction of the strategy is to strengthen the understanding base of the state civil apparatus through continuous knowledge management related to the principles of basic duties as government employees, considering compensation in terms of increasing commitment and performance by cutting the budget for activities that are disproportionate and dual functions so that it can be transferred to employee compensation, and enforced an integrity pact-based performance that will discipline employees at work.

Abstract

The existence of Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages makes the village a strategic autonomous region. This can be a challenge for the village to take advantage of all the potential that exists, especially in improving the economy of the community. BUMDes is one of the efforts to improve the village economy. BUMDes is considered a business entity that supports the village economy if it is managed properly. But in reality, BUMDes in Indonesia are still far from expectations. The problem that often arises is in the management of BUMDes itself, especially in Beji Village, Kedungbanteng District, Banyumas Regency. The service method used is a focus group discussion (FGD) technique where the method uses qualitative data collection conducted by means of interviews guided by a moderator. The results shown are the response and support for every aspect, namely from the village government, community leaders and the general public. This is the first step and strategy in stimulating the community to achieve the goals of this service. The Beji Village BUMDes management design has begun to be initiated again with more professional and credible management so that the functions and roles of BUMDes can run according to the expectations of all parties. This is indicated by the re-recruitment of BUMDes managers in accordance with the standards. In addition, Beji Village BUMDes management has been systematized and structured, starting from the preparation of BUMDes planning, BUMDes management to BUMDes reporting and accountability forms.

Abstract

Learning is a knowledge transfer process involving the system in the education world: teachers/educators, students, materials, goals, and tools. The purpose of this education and training is to transfer and share knowledge and experience between instructors and training participants regarding the duties and authorities of crossing guards on a railroad plot with a highway. The method used is face-to-face learning with 2 JP or 100 minutes. The teacher gives a questionnaire that the training participants fill out. The questionnaire contains the latest education, work area, and 13 (thirteen) questions related to the duties and authorities of a level crossing guard with a highway. The results of the questionnaire obtained that there were still 6 participants whose total percentage of answers was still below 60%, and there were still 14 participants whose percentage of responses was still below 70%. There are 5 participants whose answer percentage is 100%. Based on this, learning is still needed to increase the knowledge and competence of each individual because safety at level crossings is an absolute thing. After all, it is related to the safety of lives and objects of road users who pass at level crossings.
