Abstract

SISRUTE, an application that connects patient data between health facilities, is faced with obstacles such as data incompatibility and dependence on internet stability. Even though it started in 2020 in North Bengkulu, only 22.7% of health facilities have adopted it, especially community health centers. Implementation obstacles include staff, IT infrastructure, commitment of referring hospitals, patient conditions, and slow response.Usability testingneeded to improve health referral services. The aim of this research is to analyze the evaluation of the use of the Integrated Referral System (SISRUTE) inmedical facilityNorth Bengkulu Regency in 2023. This research is a mix methods research. The research instrument was a questionnaire which was analyzed using univariate analysis, bivariate analysis and multivariate analysis as well as observation and in-depth interviews with informants. Research analysis shows that perceived usefulness, ease of use, and intensity of use have a significant effect on attitudes and use of SISRUTE in hospitals. Attitude towards use is proven to mediate the relationship between perceived usefulness, ease of use, and intensity of use with SISRUTE use. Perception of usefulness has the greatest influence on the use of SISRUTE. Factors such as management support in the form of monitoring and evaluation of use, staff training, health infrastructure, government support, and financial issues influence the acceptance and use of SISRUTE in North Bengkulu Regency. Evaluation of the use of SISRUTE that needs to be carried out is increasing the efficiency of patient referrals, user satisfaction, and identifying areas of improvement such as monitoring and evaluating use.

Abstract

Uterine atony is the most common cause of early postpartum hemorrhage (50%) and is often the main reason for having a postpartum hysterectomy. Uterine contractions are a key mechanism in controlling bleeding after childbirth. Atonia occurs when this mechanism fails. Physiologically, postpartum hemorrhage is controlled by contraction of myometrial fibers surrounding blood vessels leading to the area of placental implantation. Uterine atony occurs when these myometrial fibers do not contract. The purpose of this study was to understand the characteristics of maternity mothers who experienced uterine atony at Dr. H. Bob Bazar Hospital, SKM Kalianda South Lampung in 2024. The research method used was quantitative with a cross-sectional design involving 30 respondents. Research Results: there is a relationship between the age of postpartum mothers and the incidence of uterine atony at Dr. H. Bob Bazar Hospital SKM Kalianda South Lampung with a p-value of 0.000.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the situation of the influence of knowledge, motivation and workload on the quality of antenatal care services in the West Pasaman Regency area in 2023 with a focus on efforts to improve maternal health, through ANC care. which is intended for pregnant women to care for and maintain the health of themselves and their babies periodically. According to the 2021 West Pasaman Regency Health Profile, there were 31 cases of maternal deaths in West Pasaman Regency, consisting of 14 cases of deaths of pregnant women, 10 cases of deaths of postpartum women and 7 cases of deaths of postpartum women. The number of maternal deaths in 2021 is higher than in 2020 with 18 cases of maternal death. The development of the maternal mortality rate per 100,000 live births in the last 10 years has generally increased. This research uses quantitative methods to explore the influence of knowledge, motivation and workload on the quality of antenatal care services, based on recent data showing low ANC achievements. In fact, according to data, the number of midwives available and spread throughout the sub-districts in West Pasaman Regency is quite a lot, namely 270 people. Therefore, it is necessary to follow up regarding the quality of midwife services in providing ANC to mothers during the pregnancy to birth process. The research results show that work motivation and workload influence the quality of antenatal care services in the West Pasaman Regency area in 2023. Meanwhile, knowledge has no influence on the quality of services. The conclusion of the study emphasizes the importance of additional knowledge regarding compliance with ANC service standards, which was initially only 7T, now increased to 10T. As well as additional knowledge regarding ANC examinations, which were initially only 4x during pregnancy, to 6x during pregnancy, as well as system improvements made by the health department. related to increasing work motivation. Such as increases in rank and salary, as well as the convenience of a service system that is increasingly systematic and uses technology.

Abstract

Upper Respiratory Tract Infection is a common infection that occurs in the upper respiratory tract including the nose, paranasal sinuses, middle ear, pharynx, larynx and proximal part of the trachea. Upper Respiratory Tract Infection is one of the most frequent risk factors for the occurrence of Acute Otitis Media (AOM) in children due to anatomical factors, where in the middle ear development phase at childhood, the eustachian tube does have a horizontal position with minimal drainage compared to older age. This research method was carried out using a literature review by collecting various research journals and obtaining 5 samples of related research literature. This study concludes that there is a relationship between acute respiratory tract infections and acute otitis media in children. .

Abstract

Cataract is a disorder of the eye where the pathological condition of the lens becomes cloudy due to hydration of lens fluid or denaturation of lens proteins, so that the view looks like it is covered in fog. This study aims to identify the relationship between increasing BMI and the risk of cataracts. The research was carried out by collecting secondary data from various research journal sources for 2018-2024. The research results show that changes in the eye lens can be influenced by body mass index. The body mass index that has a high influence on the occurrence of cataracts is obesity. The occurrence of cataracts in obesity is influenced by increased oxidative stress due to high leptin levels. Prevention that can be done to reduce the risk of clouding of the lens is by following a healthy diet and taking vitamin supplements. Another thing people can do is control their weight while maintaining a normal body mass index (18.5–25.0kg/m2).

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of growth failure in children under five due to chronic malnutrition so that children become too short for their age. The short-term impact of stunting is susceptibility to infectious diseases while the long-term impact is the inhibition of physical and cognitive development. This study aims to determine the effect of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS), economic level and parenting patterns on the risk of stunting in the work area of UPT Puskesmas Bereng. This is an observational study, quantitative design with a cross sectional approach. The study population was all 216 toddlers aged 6-23 months. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling with a total of 140 toddlers 6-23 months. Univariate analysis was conducted to describe each variable studied. The chi-square test was used for bivariate analysis and multivariate analysis was performed by binomial logistic regression model test. The results showed that clean water sources (p = 0.001 OR 7.812), exclusive breastfeeding (p = 0.006 OR 5.898), healthy latrines (p = 0.016 OR 4.991), family economic level (p = 0.029 OR 0.224) and parenting (p = 0.001 OR 3.518) significantly influenced the risk of stunting in toddlers 6-23 months. Whereas delivery in health facilities (p = 0.285 OR 0.463), weighing infants and toddlers regularly (p = 0.053 OR 5.131), washing hands with soap and clean water (p = 0.992 OR 1.014), consumption of nutritious healthy food (p = 0.230 OR 2, 139), regular physical activity (p = 0.892 OR 0.894), family members who smoke (p = 0.552 OR 0.690) and eradicate mosquito nests (p = 0.264 OR 1.955) do not significantly affect the risk of stunting in toddlers under 6-23 months. In the interpretation of the odds ratio, clean water sources (OR 7.812) have a greater effect than other variables on the risk of stunting in toddlers under 6-23 months.
