Abstract

The inverse of matrix is one of the important properties of matrix. This properies, especially singular matrix, has been developed by Moore and continued by Penrose. Then, this inverse called Moore-Penrose inverse. The Moore-Penrose invers criteria can represent a projection on a vector space V along W with V and W are orthogonal to each other or can written with W=V^⊥ which is called orthogonal projection matrix on V. This research will present lemmas and theorems related to the Moore-Penrose invers construction of the multiplication matrix. Then, a square matrix is an orthogonal projection matrix on a vector space V if and only if it satisfies two conditions, that are idempotent and symmetric. These two properties are satisfied by matrices I-A^+ A and I-AA^+ which respectively are orthogonal projection matrices on Ker(A) and Ker(A^' ). As a result, the Moore-Penrose inverse A^+ can be constructed from a square matrix A which is an multiplication of several matrices and fulfills certain properties.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Bangek River. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of a decrease in the price of palm oil on the price of cooking oil per kilogram in Sungai Bangek. The data that the writer uses is data obtained from interviews with cooking oil traders in Bangek River. To describe or see an overview of the object of research using descriptive statistical analysis. Cooking oil price analysis was carried out using information on the price of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB). To determine the relationship and influence of the independent variable (palm oil price) on the dependent variable (cooking oil price) a hypothesis test was carried out using statistical analysis with Microsoft Excel tools. Based on the results of the research and testing of the hypothesis, it can be concluded that it is true that there is an effect of a decrease in the price of palm oil on the price of cooking oil.

Abstract

When graphs are used to solve the problem of determining the shortest route, it has become a common topic of discussion. Typically, these solutions are used to optimize aspects such as travel time. Using the Floyd-Warshall and A* algorithms, this research assists the community, particularly visitors, in determining the most sensible route from the Rimbo Panjang front gate to each building at UIN Suska Riau. The calculation technique is performed manually. The algorithm developed by Floyd Warshall yields more efficient calculation results. The results of calculations conducted by both algorithms are the same and have the correct minimum weight value. In a comparative analysis test, Warshall's algorithm is more efficient than the A* algorithm because it has a higher minimum weight that has been effectively tested for distance, trajectory, and distance. A comparison of the Floyd-Warshall algorithm and the A* algorithm reveals that the Floyd-Warshall algorithm determines the shortest route more effectively.

Abstract

Various problems be facing by the company to get optimal results. One of them in this research is to optimize cost, time and quality simultaneous to get a minimal solution. The optimization of these problems uses the Hungarian method by applying multi-objective assignments. Based on the of the optimal solution results from one-objective, two-objective and three-objective assignments, these third-objective assignment is the best result. So that in the case example, the optimal solution is obtaining where the total cost incurred is Rp. 24,950,000. The total time required is 96 days. While the quality of the rattan flower vase is very good, the decorative lighting is very good and the mat is very good, the shelf is very good, the table is very good, the wardrobe is very good and the guest chair is very good.

Abstract

This research discusses the forecasting of the median value of owner occupied homes (MEDV) using all the other continuous variables available in the Boston dataset. The Boston dataset is a collection of data about housing values in the suburbs of Boston. The used method is Feed Forward Neural Network (FFNN) and the multiple linear regression method as a comparison. The result of the research indicates that the FFNN method is better than multiple linear regression in forecasting the median value of owner occupied homes (MEDV) using all the other continuous variables available in the Boston dataset. It is proven that the MSE and MAPE value of using the FFNN method is 15.7518 and 0.14563, whereas the value of multiple linear regression is 31.2630 and 0.21040. Based on this result, the research can be concluded that the FFNN method has the smaller MSE value, the result of the forecasting is more accurate.

Abstract

This study aims to model the factors that influence the profitability of commercial banks which are directly supervised by the Financial Services Authority of West Sumatra Province, namely, Capita Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Operational Income Operational Agency (BOPO), Net Interest Margin (NIM), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), and Non Performing Loans (NPL) to Return On Assets (ROA). This study uses secondary data taken based on the time period. The data is taken from the official website of the Financial Services Authority and the Bank Nagari Annual Report. The analysis technique in this study used multiple linear regression using SPSS 16 software. The results of this study indicated that partially CAR, NIM, LDR, and NPL had no significant effect on ROA, while BOPO partially had a significant effect on ROA. The five variables simultaneously have a significant effect on ROA. Furthermore, based on the results of the coefficient of determination test, the value of Adjusted R square 〖(R〗^2) is 75.4%, this means that the ROA can be influenced by the variables CAR, BOPO, NIM, LDR, and NPL, while the remaining 24.6% is explained by other variables not used in research.

Abstract

Fuel Oil is a commodity that plays a vital role in all economic activities. Fuel oil (BBM) is energy that needs to be subsidized because the price of fuel is heavily influenced by external factors, namely the price of crude oil on the world market. Fuel subsidies from the government distributed by Pertamina are still limited to the types of kerosene, diesel and premium as the energy consumed by the public. The impact of the increase in world oil prices which resulted in the government reducing subsidies for domestic fuel affected the fares of public transportation, including public transportation in cities. In-town public transportation is a mode of transportation that connects one area to another in the city. Research on the amount of fares for inner-city transportation, especially with fluctuations in fuel price increases, needs to be examined to see the relationship between the percentage increase in fuel prices and the increase in public transport fares in the city. In this research, the route under review is the city center route – Padang.

Abstract

Rumah Sakit Ratih di Kediri mungkin menghadapi masalah untuk menyusun menu makanan yang memenuhi kebutuhan nutrisi pasien diabetes melitus dengan biaya yang rendah. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah ini, metode programing linier dengan metode branch and bound digunakan untuk menghasilkan porsi makanan berupa integer yang awalnya dianalisis menggunakan pemrograman linier. Hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode branch and bound menunjukkan bahwa menu makanan untuk penderita diabetes melitus yang melakukan aktivitas olahraga dan tanpa aktivitas olahraga memiliki kebutuhan gizi optimal sebesar 7, 2 porsi bening labu siam, wortel, sup buncis, wortel, dan kentang, dan 12 porsi bening bayam, kecambah. Selama seminggu, penderita diabetes melitus tanpa melakukan aktivitas olahraga memiliki kebutuhan gizi optimal sebesar 7, 2 porsi.

Abstract

Asuransi Kesehatan merupakan suatu perlindungan keuangan untuk memberikan jaminan atas biaya pengobatan dan perawatan medis yang dibutuhkan seseorang ketika sakit. Asuransi Kesehatan dibagi menjadi dua kategori, yaitu Asuransi Kesehatan Individu dan Asuransi Kesehatan Kumpulan. Asuransi Kesehatan Kumpulan ditujukan untuk para karyawan dengan Perusahaan Pemberi Kerja sebagai pemegang polisnya. Pada umumnya, Asuransi Kesehatan Kumpulan memiliki kontrak polis yang berjangka satu tahun, dimana ketika polis tersebut sudah berakhir, maka akan dilakukan evaluasi ulang untuk menentukan premi lanjutan (renewal premium). Terdapat beberapa metode yang dapat digunakan untuk menetapkan tarif premi lanjutan pada Asuransi Kesehatan Kumpulan, diantaranya manual rating, experience rating, dan blended rating. Umumnya, perusahaan asuransi menggunakan metode experience rating untuk menghitung premi lanjutan karena metode ini menggunakan data pengalaman klaim dan biaya-biaya yang terjadi di masa lalu. Pada penelitian ini dijelaskan bagaimana proses perhitungan premi lanjutan menggunakan metode experience rating dengan loss ratio. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa proses perhitungan dapat dilakukan dengan empat tahap, yaitu: menghitung loss ratio, menghitung permissible loss ratio, menghitung gross rate, dan terakhir menghitung premi lanjutan (renewal premium). Berdasarkan studi kasus di PT ABC, akan diberikan dua kemungkinan dalam penentuan besar premi lanjutan. Kemungkinan pertama yaitu besar premi lanjutan akan naik (meningkat) dari premi awal. Sementara, kemungkinan keduanya yaitu besar premi lanjutan akan tetap sama pada premi awal sebelumnya. Semakin tinggi besar klaim daripada besar premi pada suatu polis, maka akan semakin tinggi juga kemungkinan premi lanjutan (renewal premium) pada polis tersebut.

Abstract

Corrosion process often occurs in different types of metals, due to the natural properties of metals. Environmental factors also affect the metals corrosion process, so a mathematical model of metal corrosion rate has been formed with environmental factors accelerating the corrosion process. The mathematical model influenced by initial metal molarity (L), transition metal molarity (N), corrosion product molarity (K), and environmental molarity (X). The mathematical model is a system of diffrential equations whose equilibrium point is then determined. The equilibrium point of the mathematical model of metal corrosion rate with environmental factors that accelerate the corrosion process is stable. Environmental factors that accelerate the corrosion process influence the corrosion product molarity. Corrosion products molarity will reach steady state more quickly if the metal is in an environment that accelerates the corrosion process
