Abstract

Intense competition between companies encourages every company to always want to strengthen their financial position. Increasing capital is one way for companies to continue to survive in the current global economic situation. Therefore, the company seeks to attract many investors in the company's financing activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of profitability, liquidity, and company size on dividend policy. This study uses a causal-acsesitive method, which is research that aims to determine the influence between variables. The research sample consisted of business groups registered with IDX in 2019-2021, using the purposive sampling method. Although there has been a lot of research done on the company's dividend policy, the results are mixed.

Abstract

In Indonesia, there are two types of banking operations: conventional and sharia. The existence of these two types of banks has a positive impact, namely the emergence of motivation to improve their performance better than other banks. The purpose of this research was to find out how the influence of financing or credit risk, liquidity risk, and capital adequacy risk have affected the profitability of Islamic banking in Indonesia in 2017–2021, both partially and simultaneously. This research uses a type of quantitative-descriptive research. The conclusion that can be drawn from this study is that the variables of financing or credit risk, liquidity risk, and capital adequacy risk significantly influence profitability. In the t (partial) test, the financing or credit risk variable has a significant effect on the profitability of Islamic banking in 2016–2021. The t (partial) test of the liquidity risk variable has no effect on the profitability of Islamic banking in 2016–2021. And the partial t test for capital adequacy risk has a significant effect on the profitability of Islamic banking in 2016–2021.

Abstract

Employees play an important role for every company where employees are used as a system that drives all parts so that they are neatly arranged and in accordance with the expectations of the company owner. Employee performance has several factors that can influence it, including motivation and work discipline. This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation and work discipline on the performance of public elementary school teachers in Batu Aji. The design of this study uses research design and quantitative research methods. The data collection technique was by distributing questionnaires to 150 respondents, namely public elementary school teachers in the Batu Aji sub-district. The results of this study indicate that motivation and work discipline partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on teacher performance. The results of the test for the coefficient of determination show that motivation and work discipline partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on teacher performance by 55 percent, while the rest are influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

The purchase decision in purchasing a product on the Shopee e-commerce that is currently happening is still high. However, behind the development of the Shopee application which still continues to exist, it does not mean that this online buying and selling site is not without a number of problems experienced by Shopee consumers which will have an impact on consumer decisions to make purchases on Shopee e-commerce. This study aims to determine the effect of promotion, brand image, and consumer perceptions on purchasing decisions at Shopee. The design of this study uses research design and quantitative research methods. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires to 384 respondents, namely Shoppe users with special characteristics that are in accordance with the objectives of this study. The results of this study indicate that promotion, brand image, and consumer perceptions partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. The results of the test for the coefficient of determination show that promotion, brand image, and consumer perceptions have a significant effect on purchasing decisions by 60.6 percent, while the rest are influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the taste and image of a tourist destination on customer satisfaction and loyalty at Warung Bu Sari in Semarang City . The sample in this study were 112 customers of Warung Bu Sari in Semarang City . Determination of the sample in this study using purposive sampling . The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression analysis and Sobel Test. The results of the analysis can be concluded that: taste has a positive effect on customer satisfaction . Destination image has a positive effect on customer satisfaction. Taste has a positive effect on customer loyalty. Destination image has a positive effect on customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction has a positive effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of work motivation, compensation, and work environment on the performance of production employees at PT Sinar Indah Kertas. The type of data used is primary data through questionnaires to collect the data. The population of this research is production employees at PT Sinar Indah Kertas. Sampling was carried out using a saturated sample or census technique because the determination of this research sample used all members of the population as many as 55 respondents and the number of respondents who returned amounted to 53 respondents. Data is processed using SPSS using statistical tests of multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: 1) Work Motivation Variable has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees in the production department at PT Sinar Indah Kertas, 2) Compensation Variable has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees in the production department at PT Sinar Indah Kertas and 3) Work Environment Variables have a positive and significant impact on the performance of production employees at PT Sinar Indah Kertas.

Abstract

This skincare industry has massively changed into the new digital era. The study aims to investigate the impact of electronic word of mouth (E-WOM) and brand experience on brand trust for skincare business. The study used a quantitative descriptive research methodology through a survey. The 107-respondent obtained and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis.  The results proved that electronic word of mouth and brand experience provided by skincare products critically leverage building brand trust in cosmetic business. In other words, consumers a brand trust obtained significant leverage in current trends. The study recommends elaborating the observation of skincare business for future research.

Abstract

UKM Bumbu Giling Buk Dar is one of the ground spice businesses that produces ready-to-use ground spices such as ground chili, dried ground chili, bird's eye chili, ground shallots, ground garlic, ground galangal, ground turmeric, ground lemongrass, ground ginger, and ground candlenut. Additionally, they also sell various other spices. Marketing for UKM Bumbu Giling Buk Dar is currently limited to the production site, stores, direct offers to the community, and regular customers from the food industry. The decline in UKM Bumbu Giling Buk Dar's sales can be attributed to several factors, including the COVID-19 pandemic, which has resulted in a decrease in consumer demand, as well as market competition and suboptimal promotion. To develop a marketing strategy, it is important to identify existing factors. This can be done using the SOAR method and identifying suitable alternative strategies using the QSPM matrix. A key opportunity for UKM Bumbu Giling Buk Dar lies in the development of the business world, enabling online sales platforms such as WhatsApp and others. The main outcome for UKM Bumbu Giling Buk Dar lies in expanding its marketing reach. Based on an IFE score of 4.604 and an EFE score of 4.109, the IE matrix places the company in Quadrant I, which represents intensive and integration strategies. Through the analysis of internal and external factors, several alternative strategies have been identified based on the SOAR matrix, including SA, OA, SR, and OR strategies. The marketing strategy to be employed, based on the QSPM method, is the SA strategy (utilizing strategic sales locations and expanding them through online media), with a TSS value of 8.533.

Abstract

Along with the times, business and technology have become interrelated. Technology has a significant role in running a business, for example, with e-commerce. The increasing growth of e-commerce in Indonesia has positively and significantly impacted freight forwarders and logistics companies with the emergence of newcomers. According to Supply Chain Indonesia (SCI), in 2022, performance in the logistics sector, including expeditions, will improve. SCI also projects that the logistics sector has contributed to Indonesia's GDP in the last two years. The logistics industry in Indonesia has been growing since the existence of e-commerce. Indonesia has the largest e-commerce market in Southeast Asia, with almost 100% mobile traffic. With all this increasing growth, shipping service companies must digitize their services by utilizing technology, especially applications. This study aims to see the effect of the E-Service Quality and Customer Value variables on Customer Satisfaction in the PosAja application. This quantitative study collects data through questionnaires and analyzes data using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 3 software. This study uses primary and secondary data by determining the Indonesian population who have used or are currently using the PosAja application. Sampling in this study used a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling method and produced 120 respondents using Gpower 3.1.9.7. The results show that e-service quality and customer value significantly affect customer satisfaction. And customer value provides a good mediating role for these two variables.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and explain the effect of compensation, work environment, and work discipline on employee performance at the Semarang City Health Office. This study used primary data and sampling techniques using a purposive sampling method obtained through a questionnaire/questionnaire by distributing 100 Semarang City Health Office employees as the research sample. The tests carried out in this study included validity tests, reliability tests, model tests, t tests and F tests.
