Abstract

In order to make it easier for white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) farmers to monitor pond water quality so as not to disrupt the growth process of white shrimp, a system was built that can be used to monitor and control pH and water temperature conditions remotely using pH sensors and temperature sensors based on IoT. Internet of Things or IoT is a technology that uses the internet to carry out a process of sending data to several devices without using the help of computers and humans. In this case the research was carried out using two water quality parameters, namely water temperature and pH level. This control uses two actuators, namely a water wheel which is useful for lowering the water temperature and a water pump for adding water with the aim of increasing or decreasing the pH level using the fuzzy Sugeno method. The results of the error presentation on the pH sensor were 0.002% and the precision behavior (accuracy) on the pH sensor circuit was 99.998%, the error presentation results on the temperature sensor were 0.038% and the precision behavior (accuracy) on the temperature sensor circuit was 99.962%. carried out by researchers, it can be concluded that the fuzzy sugeno method can fulfill the purpose of monitoring the pH and water temperature of Litopenaeus vannamei shrimp pond water based on IoT, by using 3 temperature rules, namely low temperature: 0-26, normal temperature: 27-30, high temperature: 31 - 45 and 3 rule pH, namely acid: 0 -7.4, normal: 7.5-8.5, alkaline: 8.6 – 14.

Abstract

Human rights are the basic rights given to mankind by God. They are universal and must be protected, respected and maintained. No one should ignore, reduce or deprive them. Therefore, the implementation of violations of human rights principles is the responsibility of the state as well as the responsibility of mortgage. The United Nations has incorporated respect and appreciation of human rights into the "United Nations Charter" in its charter, which was unanimously adopted by the UN General Assembly on December 10, 1948. But the charter seemed to be ignored by North Korea. North Korea has one of the worst human rights records. The North Korean government has violated human rights in the form of crimes against humanity against civilians. North Korea’s violations of human rights should be the responsibility of the country concerned, as well as the common responsibility of the international community. Therefore, in this case, the United Nations has acted as a protection shield against civilians, preventing criminals from taking actions to treat civilians casually. This Journal answers the question of why foreign aid and the United Nations cannot solve North Korea’s human rights violations. Researchers are concerned about North Korea’s isolationist political conditions and the attitude of the ruling government, which are the reasons why foreign aid has failed to address human rights violations. The results of this study show that because the North Korean government is very isolated and dominant in providing and distributing foreign aid, foreign aid cannot solve North Korea’s human rights violations

Abstract

This paper discussed about a legal aspects of transferring copyright for book works in Indonesia, particularly from the perspective of Civil Inheritance Law. It highlights that while the Copyright Law (Law Number 28 of 2014) doesn't provide detailed procedures for transferring copyrights through inheritance, it can be done after the author's or copyright holder's death, with the inheritance automatically passing to the heirs. It also mentions that book copyrights can be inherited in the form of licenses or royalties, which are regulated under the UUHC (presumably a relevant law).the article recommends that the government should provide public education and counseling on copyright, especially for book works. Authors are encouraged to transfer their creations through an application for registration with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (Dirjen KI) in Jakarta or through the Regional Offices of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in different regions.

Abstract

The primary objective of this study is to examine the impact of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on enhancing corporate taxpayer compliance. The acronym GCG stands for good corporate governance, which encompasses a range of managerial strategies aimed at promoting transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct within an organization's activities. The present study employs a qualitative methodology utilising descriptive techniques. The findings of the study indicate that the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles within the realm of taxation has a favourable influence on the extent to which companies adhere to their tax responsibilities. The principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), including Transparency, Accountability, Responsibility, Independence, and Fairness, contribute to the establishment of an organisational setting in which corporations conduct their activities with a commitment to integrity. By adhering to these values, companies are able to steer clear of engaging in contentious tax practises and ensure their compliance with tax rules. Furthermore, the incorporation of good corporate governance (GCG) practises in the realm of taxes not only serves to mitigate legal and reputational concerns, but also fosters the establishment of trust among shareholders, stakeholders, and society at large. Moreover, it serves as a robust basis for the sustainable growth of the firm. Therefore, the implementation of good corporate governance (GCG) in the realm of taxation offers two-fold advantages: enhancing companies' adherence to tax regulations and facilitating ethical and socially responsible business practises.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the role of blockchain technology in human resource management, especially in the world of work. Blockchain technology, which has become known for its security, transparency, and ability to manage data efficiently, has the potential to change the human resource management landscape. A qualitative research approach was used to analyze how blockchain technology can be integrated in the employee selection and recruitment process. Through a comprehensive literature review, we discuss the basic concepts of blockchain technology, security principles, and applications of blockchain in various industries. Apart from that, we also explore the basic concepts of human resource management, focusing on employee selection and recruitment. If we consider the industries and sectors that can benefit most from blockchain technology, it cannot be denied that the Human Resources (HR) department is one of the most prominent. Blockchain's key advantages in data management, combined with its ability to operate globally, make it a very suitable solution for the HR field. This technology enables HR to manage sensitive information with a high level of security and transparency, and facilitates processes such as payroll, recruitment, and performance management with unmatched efficiency and accuracy. Thus, blockchain brings positive changes in the way HR manages data and optimizes their operations in an increasingly complex and globally connected work environment.

Abstract

In this paper discussed of migration crises in recent decades, scholars have begun to study the effects of international mobility of labours for receiving countries, largely debating whether migrants bring positive or negative economic consequences and whether migrants possess non-material. More than 75 percent of these flows were directed towards low- and middle- income countries. India, China and Mexico were the largest recipient countries, gaining USD 78.6, 67.4, and 35.7 billion, respectively. In terms of GDP, Tonga, Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan were the most beneficiaries of financial remittance inflows as it accounts for 35.2, 33.6, and 31 percent of their GDP, respectively. With positive economic trends on remittance-sending countries forecasted, the Bank predicted financial remittance flows to low- and middle- income countries would reach USD 550 billion in 2019, becoming their largest source of external financings for the first time in more than three decades. It is also important to note that actual financial remittance flows are believed to be even larger than the amount estimated by the Bank as remittance flow is assumed to be underreported because migrants may also use informal channels to send remittances.
