Abstract

Sciences achievement competence of learners who not yet  maximum of one due to lack of use of teaching materials. The curriculum requires that the material be delivered in an integrated manner. Learning sciences delivered in an integrated manner can be supported by the implementation of integrated learning model. One type of integrated learning model is a sequenced type (sequence). Integrated learning model allows educators deliver sequenced type of learning in an integrated and sequenced. Educators can reorder re-learning materials that are interrelated so that students obtain holistic and meaningful learning. Research goal is to investigate the influence of student worksheet based integrated learning  model of the type squenced  on the achievement natural sciences competence of learners second grade class in pariaman 3 junior high school. This research is a Quasi Experiment with the design of Randomized Control Group Only Design. The population in this reseacrh was the students of second grade class in pariaman 3 junior high school. Sample was taken by cluster random sampling. Competence of learners divided into competence attitudes, knowledge and skills. Attitude competency assessment instrument using observation sheets, instrument competency knowledge using written tests and instrument competency skills in using performance assessment rubric. Statistical analysis was performed on the data to the stages of normality test, homogeneity and hypothesis testing. The average value of competence attitudes, knowledge and skills of students in the experimental class respectively, are 81.98, 47.07 and 77.15. The average value of competence attitudes, knowledge and skills on successively control class is 84.34, 42.24, and 73.49. Data analysis was conducted on these data using the equality test two averages. Analysis of the data yielded the t value for each competency, that is 1,04, 2,304, and 1,709. From value of t only in the aspect of knowledge that is outside H0. This means the only aspect of the student's knowledge of the worksheets have a significant impact. Observations have shown that the use student worksheet based of integrated learning model sequenced types increased the motivation of learners

Abstract

Concepts understanding is important for students in determining the success of their learning. One concept that is considered difficult by students is temperature and heat. Concept understanding can be disabled through learning peer instructions. This research aims to determine the profile of students' concepts understanding in the material temperature and heat. This research is a quasi-experiment with one group pretest-posttest model applied to 33 students of class X MIA 6 of SMA Negeri 1 Krian Sidoarjo. The research instrument used were treatment and measurement instruments. The treatment instruments consisted of syllabus, lesson plans, worksheets, and learning observation sheets. While the measurement instruments consist of pre-class reading assignments and concept tests. The research data were analyzed by determining the pattern of the distribution of students' answers on the concept test. From the results of the study showed that there are 3 patterns of changes in students' answers on the concept test that is from true-false, true-false, false-other false. In addition, after obtaining peer instruction learning, there is an increase of students' physics concepts understanding in the material temperature and heat.

Abstract

The physics student learning outcomes is not optimal, caused LKS in schools not give meaning to students. LKS that make students understand material is LKS contain character values. This study aimed to examine effect application of LKS contain character values ​​in Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) learning strategies on elasticity and simple harmonic motion of students' physics learning outcomes class XI Science SMAN 1 Tarusan Koto XI. The experimental type is quasi-experimental with randomized only control group design. The population is class XI Science SMAN 1 Koto XI Tarusan in academic year 2013/2014. The sampling technique is purposive sampling with class sample class XI Science 2 and class XI Science 5. The research instrument use test for cognitive, observation format for affective, the values ​​of character and psychomotor. Analysis using t-test at the 0.05 significance level for all three domains. The results experimental is come from each domains to acceptance criteria of Ho - t (1-1/2 α ) < t < t (1-1/2 α ), ttable is 2.00 with ​​for each domain. The results calculations t count on the cognitive is 2.188; t count on the affective is 4.948; t count on psychomotor is 2.631. t count value for all domains is in region of rejection Ho and Hi received. So, there is effect of the application LKS contain character values ​​in Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) learning strategies of students' physics learning outcomes class XI Science SMAN 1 Koto XI Tarusan at 0.95 confidence level

Abstract

In the 21st century it is expected to form comparative, innovative, creative, competitive and collaborative people. In the 2013 curriculum which was revised in 2017 contained important points, including the following: 1) strengthening of character education or what we often refer to as PPK. 2) attachment 4C consisting of the ability of creativity (creativity), critical thinking (critical thinking), collaboration (collaboration), and communicating (communication). 3) Literacy. 4) Higher Level Thinking Skills (HOTS). Where I focus more on 4C skills. Reality on the ground does not match the expected conditions. This is obtained from the results of preliminary studies that have been carried out in three high schools in Padang, it appears that in the physics learning process the school has implemented the 2013 curriculum, but according to some teachers the learning process is more comfortable using the friction instruction method. During the learning process the school has used LKS. Use of worksheets will be done if only practicing, while the question is still using worksheets sold by publishers. In the 21st century skills in the application learning process are not maximized nor are worksheets used. Only 21st century skills have been applied to learning, namely collaboration and communication skills. Though critical thinking skills and creativity are quite difficult to apply. This type of research uses Research and Development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall development model. The data source in this study was obtained from the results of validation by 3 validators by giving questionnaire instrumentation which contained six assessment components, namely the feasibility of supporting material content, problem solving models, 4C skills, language feasibility, feasibility of presentation, feasibility of presentation, feasibility of presentation, Graphic LKS. Based on the results of the study, the results of the validation of problem solving-based worksheets in improving 4C skills on thermodynamics and mechanical waves were 83.27%.

Abstract

Competence of students in Science subjects in grades VII SMP Negeri 1 Bukittinggi has not reached Minimum Criteria of Mastery Learning (KKM). This may be due to several factors, such as: models and strategies used in the activities of teacher learning less diverse; the learning activities of students just listen and take note of what is delivered by teachers; the teacher in the learning process often uses a Lecture Method; as well as the Worksheets Students (LKS) available yet to describe the interrelatedness between physics, biology, and chemistry. Therefore, research is conducted to provide solutions by applying Student Worksheets oriented Webbed toward the competency of the IPA student grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Bukittinggi.To achieve the goal  of the research, performed research experiment with pseudo Randomized Control Group Only Design. This research population is the student grade VII  SMP Negeri 1 Bukittinggi school year 2017/2018 and take sampling by the Technique of Purposive Sampling. Research instrument used in the form of a written test for knowledge and competence performance using scoring rubrics for competency skills. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of similarity of two averages for competence of knowledge and competency skills.The results showed the average value of the competency of the IPA at both the class samples and 56.94 to 70.56  "competence knowledge ", and 85.98 and 82.92 for competency skills. The test of t’, retrieved t’hitung>t’tabel. So, the working hypothesis accepted for competence of knowledge, whereas for competency skills of test t, retrieved t’hitung>t’tabel. So, the working hypothesis accepted. Conclusion of the research was the hypothesis that States that there are influences which means application of Worksheets Students integrated learning-oriented Webbed toward the competency of the IPA student grade VII SMP Negeri 1 Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Learning demanded by the of 2013 curriculum is learning to student-centered, interactive, multimedia-based, and use the scientific approach. In addition, the 2013 curriculum teachers are required provide character education to students. One of the factors supporting the creation of learning is learning resource. Learning resources is expected to help the learning process and facilitate the learners’ needs such as the learning style. These learning resources are in the form of teaching materials, handouts, modules, and worksheets. However, the teaching materials used by teachers do not correspond to the demands of the 2013 curriculum and has not met the learners’ needs. Teaching materials are used in the form of printed teaching materials that have not been based on multimedia. Instructional materials are still a bit implicitly contains character values. LKS used to load materials and evaluation questions not contain simple experiments using the scientific approach. Therefore, the need to design interactive teaching materials charged character with a scientific approach. This study aims to produce products such as interactive teaching materials charged character with the scientific approach to the static and dynamic fluid material valid.This research is the development (research and development) using 4-D model of development which is reduced to 3-D with the definition phase (define), design (design), and development (develop). Subjects were 5 people validator ie 3 people physics professor FMIPA UNP and 2 physics teachers SMAN 6 Padang. Data were analyzed with descriptive analysis techniques.Teaching materials include text, sound, animation, music, and video. Teaching materials containing character values and scientific approach. Based on research that has been done, has produced products such as interactive teaching materials charged character with a scientific approach. Products are categorized valid study of aspects of material substance with an average value of 88%, appearance (visual communication) with an average value of 88.6%, the design of teaching materials with an average value of 89.7%, and the use of software to the average value -rata 93.3%.

Abstract

Science learning in 2013 curriculum is conducted in integrated form. On the other hand literacy skill is important for students in their learning and life. But the reality shows that science learning and student literacy aren’t implemented well yet. As solution of this problem is to develop contextual integrated science student worksheet by integrating literacy. The purpose of the research is to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the integrated science student worksheet in scientific approach. The type of research is Research and Development (R & D).  Research design in preliminary testing was before and after treatment. Instruments to collect data were expert validity sheet,  practicality of test sheet, effectiveness of test sheet, attitude observastion sheet, and skill assessment sheet. Data analysis techniques which were used in this research were descriptive statistic analysis, graph method, and compare mean test. Based on data analysis, there were two of research results. First, contextual integrated science student worksheet by integrating literacy was very valid with average value is 92,0. Second, implemention of contextual integrated science student worksheet by integrating literacy was very practice acording teacher and students with average value of practicality respectly 87,0 and 84,6. Implementation of contextual integrated science student worksheet by integrating literacy was effective in science approach to improve student literacy

Abstract

The background of this research are still many students who received learning outcomes defined under standard. One reason for the use of teaching materials of physics that has not integrated the value of the character. This study aimed to investigate the effect of the application of physics teaching materials the character charged recap student learning strategies on learning strategies on learning outcomes of students of class VIII SMPN 12 Padang. This type of research is a Quasi-Experimental design with randomized control group only design and its population all the student of grade VIII in SMPN 12 Padang enrolled in the academic year 2013/2014. The sample is selected by purposive sampling technique. The sample is consisted of VIII.6 as the experimental class and the control class VIII.7 as the number of members of the same sample. The research instrument is the ultimate test for cognitive learning outcomes, assessment sheets for affective learning outcomes affective, and psychomotor assessment sheets for psychomotor domains of learning outcomes. Analysis of data uses two common test average on the real level of 0,05 to the result of cognitive learning, affective, and psychomotor. The result show of research is hypothesis that there are significant adoption of instructional materials in the physics of charged character recap student learning strategies on learning outcomes of students of class VIII SMPN 12 Padang was about the real level of 0,05

Abstract

Currently, the use of Padang Ganting hot spring attraction as a place to learn or commonly called Edupark (educational park) is very good to do. Because the covid-19 outbreak the learning process went from face-to-face to online so that the use of learning devices such as module also switched into the form of electronic modules. In order for the learning process to continue well, an electronic module is needed integrated with Edupark. This type of research is Design Research by using plomp model. It has three stages namely 1) preliminary research (initial investigation), consisting of analysis of educators, learners, potential regions and materials, 2) prototyping phase (prototype phase) consisting of formative evaluation and 3) assessment phase. This research was limited only to the prototyping phase until the validity test using validation instruments with likert scale. There were several aspects of eligibility assessed by expert lecturers, namely aspects of presentation eligibility, appearance, material and language. The results of data from expert lecturers was then processed using descriptive data analysis. The result of processing data obtained from validators in the aspect of presentation eligibility got a value of 93,06 with a very valid category, a appearance eligibility aspect got a value of 90,79 with a very valid category, a material eligibility aspect got a value of 76,39 with a valid category and a language validation aspect got a value of 78,33 with a valid category. Validation results of the five aspects of the Edupark hot spring Padang Ganting electronic module from material eligibility aspects, appearance eligibility, presentation eligibility and language validity were very valid category based on validity criteria according to Arikunto with a value of 84,64

Abstract

Improving the quality and competitiveness of Indonesia's resources has become a national commitment. One of the government's efforts to provide Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in schools is expected to be able to support the improvement of school students' competency achievement. But in reality, in physics learning the achievement of all aspects of student competence is still not optimal. One of the main causes is the lack of optimal use of student worksheet and practical activities due to incomplete laboratory equipment. The solution that can be done is to do practicum virtually. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Virtual Laboratory Student Worksheets with Cooperative Type Group Investigation Learning Model on Class X Physics Learning Competencies. The population of this study was students of class X MIA SMA Adabiah Padang and two classes were selected by cluster random sampling technique. Students were divided into experimental groups and control groups. The assessment instrument used for attitude competency is the observation sheet, for knowledge competency is a multiple choice test, and for skills competency using performance sheets. The results of the attitude competency assessment in the form of descriptions through comparison charts between the two conditions tended to increase during the seven meetings for each aspect. Effects of the Virtual Laboratory worksheet on the achievement of students' Physics competencies in skills competency by 20.66% and knowledge competencies by 34.44%, others are influenced by other factors. Based on the results of the research obtained, it can be concluded that there is an effect which means the use of virtual laboratory student worksheet on attaining competency attitudes, knowledge and skills of students in physics learning class SMA Adabiah Padang.
