Abstract

This study aims to determine the effects of a program based on a progressive increase in the number of nage-komi repetitions (throws) on a specific judo fitness test (SJFT). The research was conducted on a total of 20 respondents. In SJFT for research purposes, 12 variables. Descriptive statistics and paired t-tests for dependent samples of initial and final testing were used for data processing. The results of the study showed significant statistical deviations in the number of throws in the first 15 seconds, with the pulse measured immediately after testing and the SJFT index (p <005). There is a noticeable need for a table to classify SJFT results for young judoists. Based on the obtained results, we can conclude that the programmed activity had positive effects on the results of the SJFT, ie that the index was statistically significantly lower in the final than in the initial testing. Taking into account the results obtained, calculated by the SPSS 22 t-test for dependent variables, the values ??of the young judoist index and the values ??of the senior index show noticeable differences. While their results can be classified into appropriate categories, the results of young judoists can be classifieclassifiedrity, under, ad and the rest as very bad. Some results could not even be ranked, so we conclude that it is necessary to make tables for classifying the results of young judoists. The obtained results can be used as guidelines for more efficient programming of the training process. Keywords: cadets, judo, juniors, SJFT test, training.

Abstract

The main purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of skipping rope training on resting heart rate and cardio-respiratory endurance among soccer players. A total of forty male soccer players (age 19 – 24 years) were selected from Manipur University, Imphal, Manipur (India) who participated in the national-level competition. The subjects were randomly assigned into two equal groups, the experimental group (n=20) and the control group (n=20).  The groups were measured before the intervention with resting heart rate and cardio-respiratory endurance to find out the overall significant effect among soccer players. After the initial test, the subjects of the experimental group participated in a supervised skipping rope training program, where no special exercise was administered to the control group. Skipping rope training programs were carried out for a period of six weeks, five days of training (Monday to Friday), and 60 minutes for each session. The experimental group showed improved scores in resting heart rate and cardio-respiratory endurance compared to the control group (p<0.05). The mean of the resting heart rate for the pre-test and post-test of the experimental group were 58.60 and 56.45 respectively. The values of the cardio-respiratory endurance were 72.41 and 80.47 respectively. The significant improvement in skipping rope training of the experimental group might be due to the six weeks of the soccer players. Skipping rope trainprogramsgram significantly improved physiological variables such as resting heart rate and motor fitness variables such as cardio-respiratory endurance of the male soccer players. Abstract

In this article, the authors aim to examine the attitudes towards exercise behavior changes of adults who are registered to Fitness and Activity Centers under the COVID-19 Quarantine and cannot routinely go to gyms due to quarantine. Method; It consisted of a total of 120 individuals, 40 women and 80 men, between the ages of 18-55, registered to fitness and activity centers. The participants were selected from those who went to the gym for at least 45 minutes a day, 3 days a week for at least 6 months, and did fitness exercises for at least 6 months before the quarantine. The experiential and behavioral attitudes of the participants regarding the benefits of exercise were determined by the Exercise Change Processes Scale (EDSS). The components of experiential and behavioral processes are determined with a 5-point Likert-type scale consisting of 28 questions. According to the findings; There was no significant difference between men and women in the experiential sub-dimension and the behavioral sub-dimension, which includes helping relationships and empowering management processes (P>0.05). On the other hand, it was determined that there was a significant difference between the behavioral sub-dimension components of opposite and opposite situation, self-liberation and stimulus control, and total awareness levels between men and women (P<0.05, P<0.01). As a result, it can be argued that unlike the months-long quarantine effectively controlling the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, it does not have a positive contribution to the exercise behavior change process. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to be able to determine whether there is an influence of small sided games and motor ability on athlete performance in volleyball games. The method in this study is an experimental method where the design of this study uses factorial design. The results of this study show that small-sided games training methods, block system programs and random system programs have a significant effect on games performance, small-sided games training has interactions with motor ability that have different effects on games. While the small-sided games training method block system and random system programs have a significant effect on games performance in the high motor ability group, small-sided games training methods, block system programs and random system programs, do not have a significant effect on games performance in the low motor ability group. So that in providing volleyball training programs, especially the random system program, it should be given to athletes who have high motor ability. But for low motor ability can be used both programs, both block system programs and random system programs.
