Focus and Scope Fokus Empowerment : Jurnal Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat diterbitkan oleh LPPM STAI Darul Kamal NW Kembang Kerang adalah peer-reviewed journal yang memuat artikel-artikel ilmiah dari berbagai disiplin ilmu yang diadopsi dalam berbagai aktivitas pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan penelitian terapan lainnya. Artikel-artikel yang dipublikasikan di Empowerment meliputi hasil-hasil penelitian ilmiah asli, artikel ulasan ilmiah yang bersifat baru, atau komentar atau kritik terhadap tulisan yang ada dimuat di JPPM maupun dalam terbitan berkala ilmiah lainnya. Abstract

This service aims to determine the role of caregivers at the Mande Kanduang Pakan Sinayan Orphanage and foster the social behavior of foster children. The target object of this service is the head of the Mande Kanduang orphanage as well as the caretaker of the orphanage, and the children at the Mande Kanduang orphanage and their foster siblings.  The results of the service show that the orphanage administrators are considered as a family for each orphanage child where the orphanage administrators and caregivers have a function as a place to fulfill love, fulfill physical needs, provide education and provide a view of life for the children as well as a place to instill values ​​and norms that apply in society. Caregivers try to act by providing rules in the orphanage to change the behavior of foster children for the better. And caregivers have an important role in fostering social behavior which is always shown by every child at the Mande Kanduang orphanage both among themselves and with the surrounding community.

Abstract

The community service carried out at the Al-Urwatul Wutsqo Islamic Boarding School in Diwek Jombang aims to study and implement the learning of Adabul Alim Wal Muta'allim, a classic book by Hadratus Syaikh Hasyim Asy'ari which emphasizes the importance of adab in the teaching and learning process. This service also aims to examine Adabul Alim Walmuta'allim Learning at the Al-Urwatul Wutsqo Islamic Boarding School, with the hope that the adab values ​​taught can be implemented not only within the Islamic boarding school environment, but also in the wider community. The activity methods used include lectures, discussions and sorogan. Through lectures, the teacher delivers material systematically, followed by interactive discussions to explore the application of adab, and ends with sorogan, where students individually read and study the book in front of the teacher to receive correction. As a result, students not only understand the theory of adab but are also able to apply it in daily interactions, showing that this learning method is effective in forming superior character and personality in the Islamic boarding school educational environment.

Abstract

Cisaat Tourism Village is one of the villages in Subang Regency that has received website facilities both as a public service media and tourism promotion. However, due to limited human resources, the website management of Cisaat Tourism Village is not optimal. This community service activity aims to provide Cisaat Tourism Village managers with training on website management skills. This community service activity was conducted offline for two days using the Participatory Technology Development and Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approaches. Technically, this service activity is divided into three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Based on the evaluation results obtained, the service activities succeeded in increasing the knowledge and skills of the participants in managing the village website. In addition, the new skills acquired by the participants also inspired them to utilize the website as a medium for service and promotion of tourism in Cisaat Tourism Village.

Abstract

This article wants to reveal how madrasas and Islamic boarding schools are managed in order to obtain high quality education. Management here is very necessary for an organization as big as Ma'had Al Islmay Al Ma'ruf Kudus to run as safely as it should. The management of madrasas and Islamic boarding schools cannot be haphazard because they must be competitive with other educational institutions and must produce Muslim scholars who are in accordance with their scientific discipline and are useful for the community. The system used in management must consist of four important elements, namely evaluation, calculation, management and leadership. Of course, when this is carried out properly, institutions as large as Islamic boarding schools or madrasas can be competitive and produce outputs that are considered by society which are inseparable from religious values ​​and have abilities that are superior to those of other modern humans. In this way, Islamic boarding schools and madrasas will produce leaders who are strong for the people in the future in accordance with the demands of the times.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the prosperity of the mosque, especially in increasing the participation of the congregation in religious activities and to improve the knowledge and understanding of the Dasan Lendang hamlet community regarding the optimization of the role of the mosque. This Community Service activity uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. The method used in this service is Socialization and mentoring. The results of this service, there are several activities carried out to optimize the role of the mosque, namely: socialization through studies and lectures held twice a week every Thursday and Sunday nights, discussions and questions and answers held once a week every Tuesday night, providing assistance in reading the barzanjian which is held once a week every Monday night, and the yasinan which is held once a week every Friday night. With the implementation of socialization and mentoring, the mosque management has become more active and has made the mosque more alive, for children, youth and parents. So that the mosque becomes a place for various activities for the community.

Abstract

This service aims to describe the use of the digital-based YPSM (Yayasan Pendidikan Surau Minang) application at SDIT Padang Islamic School as an effort to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the school administration system. The method used in this service is service learning. The learning procedure in experiential learning consists of 4 stages, namely; real experience stage, reflection observation stage, conceptualization stage, and implementation stage. This includes ensuring optimal understanding for all participants, consisting of student guardians and teachers. The results of this service showed that the training provided was able to improve the understanding and skills of the Student Guardians in operating the YPSM (Yayasan Pendidikan Surau Minang) application. With this socialization, it is hoped that the implementation of this application can accelerate access to information, increase administrative transparency, and strengthen communication between the school and parents. With this training, it is hoped that schools can be better prepared to adopt digital technology to support a more modern and efficient education system
