Abstract

This study contains an analysis of the application of the problem base learning method. This type of research is quantititave, namely a (quasi-experiment) with a research design of Nonequivalent control group design. This study uses data collection techniques in the from of test, observation and documentation. Data analysis in this study is data nalysis rerlated to understanding the concept of Indonesian Language Education. The result of quantitative description analysis show that the average value of student abilities who are taught using the Problem Based learning Model is 80.29% while the average value of stundents ablilities who are taught using convetional learning models is 74.375%. Problem Based Learning has a better effect than conventional learning models on stundents abilities (learning outcomes).

Abstract

This article is the result of classroom action research on the application of this differentiated learning as an effort to provide educational services according to the needs of students in the classroom. This study aims to describe the application of differentiated learning in class VI which is hypothesized to be able to improve students' ability to understand the concept of surface area and overcome saturation in students who already understand the concept of geometric surface area. This research was conducted at Inpres Labat Elementary School with the research subjects being all students of class VIa Pres Elementary School. This classroom action research uses the Kemmis and Taggar models. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, observations, and written tests. The data is tabulated and analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of this study indicate an increase in learning outcomes obtained through written tests in learning evaluation, an increase in learning outcomes as an indicator of increased understanding of the concept of geometric surface area and an increase in student learning activity as an indicator of students being maintained from saturation. In the initial conditions, the average student learning outcomes were 70.77 with 50% mastery of the class, there was an increase in cycle 1 where the average learning outcomes became 73 with 76.92% mastery and in cycle 2, the average learning outcomes increased 75.5 and class completeness 88.46%. Other students who have not finished have also experienced an increase in learning outcomes in the initial disbandment state. Keywords: differentiation learning, flat shape, surface area.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the beliefs that exist in Javanese culture towards the myths depicted in the novel Delusi by Supaat I. Lathief. The research design uses a qualitative descriptive method, namely to describe the contents of the novel in accordance with previously identified aspects such as customs in the past, traditions, and belief in myths. This research study technique uses library techniques, namely by studying books related to the problem to be studied. Researchers get data that begins with reading activities, studying, then grouping the data obtained. After all the data is collected then analyze and describe the data based on the aspects studied.Based on the results of a study of the depiction of the novel Delusi about the understanding or mindset of the Javanese people about the myth about the existence of a belief system depicted in the novel Delusi by Supaat I. Lathief (an anthropological study of literature) that most Javanese people believe in the myths that develop in their village. Most of the villagers still adhere to a belief system in the existence of spirits that inhabit objects and give offerings with the aim of calming the village. Residents also believe that begging at the tomb can bring abundant sustenance. Events that occur are caused by the existence of a belief system in the existence of myths about safety, abundant sustenance, and success in harvests when one realizes that it is the result of one's own efforts and the will of the Almighty God, not from what they have believed so far on things which is mystical.Keywords: myth, Javanese culture, literary anthropology

Abstract

This research focus on custom utterance Amungtape, brief of TRA, and in this ritual there are three utterance supporter for example; custom utterance Amung Kala Tape, custom utterance Neng Jing, and custom utterance Amung Luk of Society in Countryside of Lakatuli of Orchard Padailaka in Regency Alor . This Research is studied from in perpective of culture linguistics. its Study goals include;cover the characteristic form , meaning and assess the TRA in society life in Countryside of Lakatuli of Orchard Padailaka as main problem in this research. Seen from analyzed problem character, this research is categorized in research deskripsi. In data collecting used by some technique, that is: perception technique, interview the, directional group discussion, recording, simak-catat, and documentation study. To obtain; get the accurate data, six people selected from original penutur of Ianguage Put ash consisted of by four people selected by as informen key and its two others as informan pendamping. Data which have been collected to be analysed descriptively qualitative and also ravelled clearly from entire/all deskripsi . Abstract

The problem in this research is what religious values ​​are implied in the book Siwaratri Kalpa by Empu Tanakung. The aim of the research is to describe what religious values ​​are implied in the book Siwaratri Kalpa by Empu Tanakung. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. This method is used because this research uses descriptive data by explaining, examining, or describing something that already exists. The data in this study are in the form of words, sentences or paragraphs which are indicated to have sociological values ​​contained in the book Siwaratri Kalpa by Empu Tanakung. In collecting data, the writer uses library techniques, namely by analyzing the contents. In this analysis, the researcher listens and then records documents taken from primary data relating to the problem and research objectives. The data is in the form of novel data, so the research tries to examine the contents of the novel. The results of the research show that the religious value implied in Lubdaka as a kalua hunter is connected with the modern situation of today's modern society, it turns out that there are still many human beings who prefer to hunt for physical satisfaction, so he will tend to be more concerned with material things, as if they were the most essential prestige in this world. He would not feel that matter would actually be able to lead people into the abyss of sin if humans could not control it. Then humans who have fallen into the valley of sin will always feel far from God Almighty. If humans already feel far from God then it will be as if they have forgotten the essence of humanity. If man is far from his Creator, it means that he has forgotten his human essence. Kata Kunci: Religious Values, Siwa Ratri Kalpa, Sociology of Literature

Abstract

Mathematics, especially in arithmetic, is a teaching of the Jarimatika technique. The finger counting method aims to assist students in operating arithmetic, especially in calculating addition and subtraction. The problems faced by teachers and students affect the low student learning outcomes. As is the case at SDN Sontoi, namely: students pay little attention to the teacher's explanation, many students talk about things outside the material, there are still students who imitate the results of other friends when working on them. Based on this analysis, the researcher will present the learning outcomes of class students at SDN Sontoi, Central Bikomi District, starting from exposure before the cycle or up to exposure to cycle I data. Based on observations of pre-cycle learning outcomes conducted by researchers, the class average is 61.6 with complete classical learning is only 61.6% This illustrates that students' learning outcomes in mathematics are still low. This is due to the use of inappropriate learning models. Teacher-centered learning activities, so students are less active in learning activities. In the first cycle of learning mathematics through the application of the jarimatics method the teacher has carried out well. This can be seen from student learning activities, learning outcomes, and in the implementation of learning that has been going according to plan. Thus the use of the jarimatics method can improve numeracy skills and student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the classroom action research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the application of the jarimatics method can improve the results of learning mathematics on the subject of addition and subtraction of numbers for class III students at SDN Sontoi, Central Bikomi sub-district. This is indicated by an increase in the class average score, namely during pre-cycle 61.6 to 81.8 in cycle I. The application of the use of the jarimatics method succeeded in increasing mastery of the material and student learning outcomes in learning mathematics. Abstract

The problem in this research is: How do you apply the discussion method in Civics learning to the material on village and sub-district government systems? and how does the application of the discussion method influence the material on village and sub-district government systems in an effort to improve student learning outcomes? Based on the formulation of the problem above, the goal to be achieved is to apply the discussion method in Civics learning, especially the Village and Sub-District Government System material, to determine the effect of applying the discussion method to the Village and District Government System material in an effort to improve student learning outcomes. Before the improvement of learning from 31 students who had completed learning, only 6 students or 19% and 25 students or 81% had not completed it. This shows a failure in learning. In improving learning cycle I using the discussion method in which each group consists of 6-7 students. Evaluation results obtained from 31 students, there were 15 students who scored 75 and above or 48% of students had completed their studies, while 16 students or 52% of students had not yet completed their studies. The average score obtained in the learning improvement cycle I compared to before the learning improvement was increased, from 55.5 to 67.9 or there was an increase in value of 12.4. In cycle II the researcher used the discussion method with the number of each discussion group being 5 students. In addition, researchers also use media such as fast food, soft drinks, etc. This is in accordance with the opinion of experts about the use of learning media or teaching aids to help students in the learning process.Researchers obtained results on improving learning cycle II. Of the 31 students, all students have completed their studies, with a score of 75 and above, and the average score is 81.8. Seeing the results that have been obtained, the researchers did not make improvements to the third cycle of learning in Civics class IV subjects with village and sub-district governance systems at SDN Sontoi. Abstract

This article focuses on the use of language by the young Lamaholot generation in Larantuka City. The study in this article aims to describe language use by the younger generation in bilingual situations. The concept underlying this study is bilingualism and the realm of language use. Meanwhile what is referred to is Sociolinguistic Theory which emphasizes the use of language in the social context of its speakers. Analysis of data on language use by the younger generation of Lamaholot in Larantuka City shows that their language choices tend to be unbalanced even though their bilingualism is categorized as balanced. . This is predominantly determined by the variables involved. In any setting with any topic, if the participants in the conversation consist of fellow Lamaholot people, then the language of choice used is Lamaholot. This condition is interpreted as an accommodating attitude of the young generation of Lamaholot speakers in Larantuka City. This situation of language use does not have the potential to create language hegemony between Lamaholot, Indonesian and Larantuka Malay.

Abstract

This article discusses the function of language in the Rangga Ngindi Dewa ritual speech in the Tana Righu community, West Sumba. Referring to the concept of language function according to Roman Jakobson, the results obtained regarding the language function implied in the Rangga Ngindi Dewa ritual speech are as follows: (1) phatic function is related to how to open and close communication with ancestral spirits; (2) emotional function related to expressing thoughts and feelings to the God and ancestral spirits; (3) the conative function is related to how to understand the responses of invisible participants; (4) and the poetic function is related to the element of aestetic in the use of language. These language functions constitute the entire linguistic structure of the Rangga Ngindi Dewa ritual speech which emphasizes transcendental communication.

Abstract

Life is learning. Learn to be smart. Learn to solve various problems faced. In the process of learning and solving various problems or issues, motivation or encouragement is needed. Motivation or encouragement is obtained by a person through language. The language used will encourage people to move forward. Energetic language will enliven and strengthen a person's abilities so that the person can carry out various tasks and achieve the targets that have been set. Words of praise, such as smart, brilliant, excellent, intelligent, cool, great, enthusiastic, etc. are words that have energy to move someone to become a great person.
