Abstract

History is not a subject only taught at the school level. History is the path to a more realistic understanding. This historical reality indicates that history learning is very relevant to be taught and integrated to the nation's future generations. History is not just a useless past story, but history is evidence of events that are reality and very useful for shaping the generation of characters for the nation's future generations. This study aims to analyze the implementation of character education in the learning process of history subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the responses and learning outcomes of class XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 2 Denpasar after implementing the Guided inquiry teaching method by utilizing mathematics learning media. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). CAR is designed using several cycles consisting of four stages, namely: planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The subjects of this study were 36 class XI IPA 3 students of SMA Negeri 2 Denpasar in the 2019/2020 academic year and the object of this research was student learning after being given learning with guided discovery methods and using visual learning media. Student learning outcomes are said to be successful individually if they have obtained a value of ≥ 70.Students are classically said to have succeeded if 85% of the total students in the class have scored ≥ 70.The results of the analysis are obtained (1) There is an effect of the guided inquiry teaching method using the media learning in mathematics can increase student response. (2) The guided inquiry teaching learning method by utilizing learning media can improve mathematics learning outcomes in class XI IPA 3 students of SMA Negeri 2 Denpasar in the 2019/2020 academic year.

Abstract

Legong dance as a legacy of Balinese cultural arts, has a long history, from very simple to complex forms. As a result of artistic creativity, legong dance comes with a high aesthetic concept so that it is used as a reference in every work on Balinese dance. Thus the paper aims to reveal the aesthetic concept of the Legong dance which is considered to represent the beauty value of Balinese dance. It can be understood that every dance performance, even though there is no legong dance, is known by the audience as “mebalih” (watching) legong. Based on the above objectives, several problems arise, what is the aesthetic concept, legong dance and what are the elements that make up the aesthetic of the legong dance. Legong dance is a work of dance that is proud of by the community as the identity of Balinese dance. As an identity, the legong dance has been admired by the Balinese people from time to time, so it is placed as a symbol of Balinese dance. In accordance with the problems in this paper, the object of study is the aesthetic concept of the legong dance and the main elements of the Legong dance. To explain the problems being studied, qualitative research methods can be used by emphasizing field research (grounded reaserch) which is analyzed by aesthetic theory and identity theory. The results of this paper will be able to explain the meaning of Legong dance aesthetics, which is built from elements of motion, appearance and story. These elements are present as one unit in the form of the lagong dance.

Abstract

The study of sound inventory of Kui language in Alor Island was very important. The sound involved vowel and consonant. The sound inventories were done by three steps namely 1) Complementary Distribution, 2) Minimal Pair, and 3) Similar Pair. Based on the study of Complementary Distributions found that Kui language has vowel sounds namely [a], [i], [u], [e], and [o], in open tribes. The sounds of [Ʌ], [I], [U], [O], and [E] were found in closed tribes. Consonant sounds namely: [b], [m], [p], [f], [t], [l], [r], [g], and [h] were fully distributed, there were at the initial position, middle, or end of words. The consonant sounds [d], [n], [s], [k], [w], and [y] were distributed at the initial and middle position of words, while the consonant [j] was distributed at the middle position of word. Minimum pairs of vowel phonemic relationships were found / i / - / o /, / e / - / a /, / i / - / e /, / i / - / e /, and / u / - / o /. The totals were 22 vocabulary words. Similar pairs were found vocal phonemes / a / - / e /; / i / - / u /; / i / - / u /; / a / - / i /; / i / - / u /; / o / - / a /; / i / - / e /; / o / - / i /; / e / - / i /; / u / - / i /; and / a / - / u / and consonant phonemes / l / - / t /; / m / - / h /; / r / - / p /; / w / - / r /; / b / - / m /; / p / - / n /; / k / - / d /; / t / - / d /; / m / - / w /; / d / - / s /; / k / - / t /; / k / - / l /; and / n / - / p /. The total were 24 vocabularies.

Abstract

This paper aims at uncovering the images of heroism in the children literature of Mutiara Tanah Aron by I Ketut Sandiyasa. The data in this study were obtained through descriptions of behaviors and dialogues that show heroic values. It was also supported by environmental factors, such as the family environment, school environment, and rural natural environment. The characters’ behavior show love for the family, pets, and the natural environment that gives him life. This research is a qualitative research with the theory of semiotics, and assisted by reading and text analysis techniques. From the analysis result, it shows that the ability of thinking of an elementary school student to achieve his dream as a child who excels in the competition at the district level. This achievement can raise the name of the school and the name of the village where the historic monument was erected, namely the Tanah Aron Monument. The character can demonstrate his success through hard work, unyielding, and responsibility that is part of the values ​​of heroism, until finally the child gets the nickname Pearl of the Aron Land.

Abstract

ABSTRACT In learning Balinese song, there are types of traditional and modern Balinese songs. Traditional Balinese songs include: (1) gegendingan (gending raré, gending jangér, gending sangiang), (2) sekar macapat or sekar alit such as pupuh-pupuh, (3) sekar madia such as kidung, and (4) sekar agung such as wirama. While what is called modern Balinese song in this paper are Balinese pop songs. Local wisdom recorded in Balinese songs is important to be explored, studied, and understood so that it can be used as guidelines to behave by the young generation of this nation, especially the young generation of Bali. Therefore, the treasures of local Balinese culture in the form of traditional song such as pupuh as well as modern Balinese pop songs are important sources of study for character education. Based on the cursory observations of Balinese song, especially Balinese pupuh and songs, it can be concluded that Balinese songs, both traditional and modern, are full of character education content which is certainly beneficial to foster the character and identity of young generation of Bali (in particular) and Indonesia (in general).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the independence and learning outcomes of students' physics through the application of the Problem Solving learning model with online learning in class X RPL 2 SMK Negeri 1 Negara in the 2019/2020 academic year. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). The cycle of activities consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were students of class X RPL 2, totaling 36 people. The object of this research is independence and learning outcomes of physics. The data analysis used the observation method and the test method. The learning independence of students at the first meeting reached 9.18 at the second meeting increased to 11.54 and at the third meeting to 12.56. The learning outcomes of students in the first cycle an average of 67.31 students' learning outcomes increased in the second cycle to 82.05. Classical completeness of students increased from 38.39% to 88.89% in cycle II. The results showed that the application of the problem solving learning model with online learning could improve learning independence and physics learning outcomes for class X RPL 2 SMK Negeri 1 Negara in the 2019/2020 academic year.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the significant effect of Character Education on the Soft Skills of Prospective Teacher Students in the Economic Education Study Program of FPIPS PGRI Bali, (2) the significant effect of Entrepreneurship Education on the Soft Skills of Prospective Teacher Students of the FPIPS IKIP PGRI Economic Education Study Program. Bali, (3) the significant influence of Character Education on the Soft Skills of Prospective Teacher Students in the Economic Education Study Program, FPIPS, IKIP PGRI Bali. The population in this study were students of class 2017, amounting to 78 people. Furthermore, the technical data analysis used is testing with regression analysis to find the F price, and then it can be tested whether the F price is significant or not. And the conclusion of this research is that Character Education (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Student Soft Skills. This is evidenced by the value of t-count = 9,462> t-table = 1.99 and the value of Sig. = 0.000 <0.05. Entrepreneurship Education (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Student Soft Skills. This is evidenced by the value of t-count = 4.255> t-table = 1.99 and the value of Sig. = 0.000 <0.05. Character Education (X1) and Entrepreneurship Education (X2) simultaneously influence student soft skills. This is evidenced by the value of F-count = 84.289> F-table = 3.12 and the value of Sig. = 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

In the age of globalization, the quality of education is a top priority. Quality education is certainly capable of producing quality human resources as well. In formal education, the quality of education starts from the teaching and learning process carried out by the teacher or lecturer in the class. The teacher or lecturer has a very strategic role in producing quality students. Educators must have four competencies, namely: pedagogical competence, academic competence, personal competence, and social competence. The four competencies must be able to be understood and applied well in school. The ideal educator must mastering, understanding, and applying the four competencies. An ideal educator is certainly an educator who is idolized by students. The ideal educator is an educative figure who is the desire of every student or student.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the inculcation of the value of character education in learning dance in Sunaryanam Widya Anandam dance at SMP Sunari Loka Kuta. This type of research is qualitative research. Another primary data source is in the form of photos of the Sunaryanam Widya Anandam dance at SMP Sunari Loka, Kuta. Secondary data sources are data obtained from reading writings, books written by others, sources from libraries and information that is relevant and related to the issues discussed. The data source of this research is in the form of discography, which is the data in the form of photos of the types of motion that are attracted by students. Overall semiotic analysis found ten character education values ​​contained in the Sunaryanam Widya Anandam dance at SMP Sunari Loka Kuta including, religious values, polite values, discipline values, responsibility values, creative values, love values, hard work values, independent values. , spirit of nationality, social care. The results showed that the value of character education in the Sunaryanam Widya Anandam dance at SMP Sunari Loka Kuta had a positive impact on students both individually and in groups. Students seem to be more dexterous in teaching their group of friends who still do not understand, and appear to be more focused when given instructions on the surgery of the dance movements being taught.
