Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the effectiveness of learning method with Troubleshooting against Accounting based to the learning achievement of student Grade XII IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kerambitan in the academic year 2016/2017. Students who were being the research subject have low understanding to the basic concepts of card managing of fixed assets in the Accounting subject which is marked by low activities, enthusiasm, and courage in expressing their ideas. The action is designed in two cycles; each cycle is done in one month. At the end of each cycle, the action carried out subsequent monitoring and evaluation of the results which is then reflected for the next cycle planning. The monitoring is done by using observation method, interview and test students understanding of the basic concepts of card managing of fixed assets in the accounting subject. After being given a lesson by using problem solving based learning method, students who do not understand the basic concept of card Managing of fixed assets shows a deeper understanding of the basic concepts of card managing offixed assets in Accounting subjects. Based on the evaluation results, it can be seen that in the first cycle there is an increase of student ability in mastering the basic concepts of card managing offixed assets in Accounting subject with the increase of students average scores of initial learning achievement of 59.40 to 68.72 with the percentage of mastery card managing of fixed assets in accounting subjects for 15.69%. Thus, the average percentage increases in the level of learning achievement in accounting before and after the first cycle of 29.61%. Meanwhile, after being given the action on the second cycle in the form of problem-solving techniques, the average score of students' achievement increases from 68.72 to 78.48 with the increas percentage of mastery card managing offixed assets in accounting subject for 13.92% this the increase of average percentage in the mastery card managing concepts of fixed assets in accounting subjects between cycle I and after cycle II is 29.61% (15.69% in the first cycle and the second cycle is 13.92%).

Abstract

The prolonged economic, political and belief crisis that hit the Indonesian nation has had an impact on almost all aspects and order of life. Although it has caused a lot of deterioration to the nation and the people, one of the positive lessons that emerged was the emergence of basic thinking that fosters reform in various aspects of national life and statehood. The main focus of this reform is to create a civil society in the life of government, society and countries that have values ​​of "Good Governance" that guide the values ​​of democracy and an attitude of openness, honesty. justice, oriented to the interests of the people and accountable to the people (Koswara. 2000). The government's desire to implement reforms in the life of nation and state in the field of education is more apparent with the issuance of Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System (Sisdiknas). The substance of the new National Education System Law is evident from its vision: the realization of the education system as a strong and authoritative social institution to empower all citizens of Indonesia to develop into quality human beings who are able to proactively respond to the challenges of the times. One effort to improve the quality of existing education is to empower school principals. This is because the principal is the driving force for school resources, especially teachers and school employees. The role of the principal is so large in the process of achieving educational goals, so that it can be said that the success or failure of school activities is largely determined by the quality of the principal. All assets are utilized in such a way. Teachers need to be moved towards a positive, exciting and productive work atmosphere. However the teacher is an input whose influence is very large in the learning process. Likewise, physical and administrative arrangements or management need to be fostered so that discipline and enthusiasm for learning are high for students. This all requires the need for the implementation of educational leadership by a school principal.

Abstract

Educational quality assurance aims to meet or exceed National Education Standards (SNP). The approach used to improve the quality of learning and / or the quality of education is the scientific approach. The aim of the quality assurance is to maintain and improve the quality of school education in a sustainable manner, which is carried out internally to realize the vision and mission of the school, and to fulfill the needs of stakeholders through the implementation of learning in schools. The vision of Denpasar 7 Public High School is to excel academically, non-academically, with character, care for the environment, master information technology. The motto of the school of Matuha, Migasa, Mawredya means getting older, more powerful, growing. The expected results of the implementation program of model school development are that schools can implement education quality assurance independently, can improve quality according to National Education Standards, have a quality culture, and train teacher professionals in carrying out their duties. High School 7 located on Cambodia Street No. 9 Denpasar Bali, with Principal Dra. Cokorde Istri Mirah Kusuma Widiawati (2016 until now). Both in terms of building arrangement, facilities, human resources, the system implemented, student achievement, graduates' results, etc. make this school able to compete in the city of Denpasar. The teaching staff owned by the school are 77 people, consisting of: provincial civil servants 38 people, PNS DPK 2 people, and non-PNS 36 people and total employees 41 people consisting of 7 civil servants, honorarium 34 people. The number of students is 1,328 people with a total number of 36 students. Class X is 419 people, class XI is 432 people, and class XII is 477 people. The awards obtained by the school in the past few years were 31, while the awards obtained by students were 19 academic and non-academic achievements both at provincial, national and overseas levels. In this case in the 7th Denpasar Senior High School has an extracurricular 52 branches. On the national exam in 2018, the national exam scores of the Denpasar Public High School 7 experienced a very significant increase. For the specialization of MIPA, the 7th Public High School in Denpasar was ranked 6th in Bali and Social Sciences specialization was ranked second for the average UN in Bali in 2018. SMA 7 Denpasar implemented an 8-hour learning system known as Fullday School. Character education is a priority in education at Denpasar 7 Public High School as part of a mental revolution. The liasi activity will bring a positive impact on the achievement of the pretensions at the 7th Public High School in Denpasar, both academic and non-academic.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to analyze: (1) the influence of organizational support to the job satisfaction, (2) the influence of organizational support to the employee performance, (3) the influence of employee job satisfaction to the employee performance. The numbers of samples in this study were 58 employees at the General Section of the Regional Secretariat of Tabanan Regency. The technique of sample is Random Sampling and the data are collected using a questionnaire. The technique of analysis used is Path Analysis Model. The results of the study found that the organizational support gave positive effect to the employee job satisfaction; the organizational support gave positive effect to the employee performance, and (3) the employee job satisfaction gave positive effect to the employee performance. The implications of the results of this study are the organizational support need to be given maximally to improve the employee job satisfaction at the General Section of the Regional Secretariat of Tabanan Regency. If the job satisfactions of employees get increasing, it will be able to improve the Employee Performance at the General Section of the Regional Secretariat of Tabanan Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of the application of problem solving strategies oriented to open mathematical problems towards the achievement of learning mathematics, by paying attention to the factors of students' metacognitive skills. The research design used in this study was a 2 x 2 factorial research design, with a simple random sampling technique. This research is a quasi-experimental study. The population in this study were all students of class XII MIPA Public High School 7 Denpasar academic year 2018/2019 which consisted of 9 classes with a total of 324 people. With samples of class XII MIPA 2, XII MIPA 4, XII MIPA 5, and XII MIPA 8. Tests were carried out by t-test, F test, Tukey test through Anava Two-way statistical method. From the results of data analysis, it was found that, (1) there was an influence of learning strategies on open mathematical problem-solving problem solving on students' mathematics learning achievement. (2) there is the influence of learning strategies on problem solving oriented open mathematical problems on mathematics learning achievement in students with high metacognitive skills. (3) there is the influence of learning strategies on problem solving oriented to open mathematical problems on mathematics learning achievement in students with low metacognitive skills. (4) there is no interaction between learning strategies and metacognitive skills on mathematics learning achievement of students.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and improve the ability to analyze exposition text in a systematic and detailed manner by applying the inquiry learning model to class X students. This classroom action research was carried out at Denpasar 7 Public High School located on Jl. Kaamboja No.9 Denpasar, Bali. Subjects of class X MIPA 7 Denpasar Senior High School 7 in the odd semester of school year 2018/2019, while the object of this study was a study of exposition text analysis and student responses to inquiry learning models. This research was conducted in class X MIPA 7 Denpasar Senior High School 7. The application of inquiry learning models can improve the ability to analyze exposition text on students and the application of inquiry learning models can also improve the response of students of class X MIPA 7 in analyzing exposition texts. The implication of the application of the inquiry learning model was declared successful to improve the ability to analyze the exposition text of class X MIPA 7 Public High School 7 Denpasar academic year 2018/2019. This research has fulfilled the indicators of success determined through cycle I and cycle II.

Abstract

This research aims to use tubers into tape products as a substitution for rice in the application of fermented biotechnological learning. The research used a type of local tubers such as sweet potato, which includes purple sweet potato (purple color), honey sweet potato (yellow color), white sweet potato (white color) and taro (Colocasia esculenta (L.) Schott.), while the control treatment used cassava (Manihot utillisima Crantz) using completely randomized research design. The tests were conducted by looking for the alcohol content and through organoleptic test (taste) as well as the appearance of the tape products by involving 20 researchers as testers. The results showed that the making of tape using tubers through fermentation process produced an average alcohol of 3.994% in honey sweet potatoes; 1.3773% in white sweet potato; 1.0576% in purple sweet potato; 1.3295% in taro and 0.59625% in cassava. The organoleptic test conducted by the panelists showed: honey sweet potato (yellow color, soft texture, sour taste, alcoholic aroma, attractive appearance); white sweet potato (white color, soft texture, sour taste, alcoholic aroma, attractive appearance); purple sweet potato (purple color, soft texture, sour taste, alcoholic aroma, attractive appearance); taro (whitecolor, rather dense texture, sour taste, mildly alcoholic aroma, ordinary appearance) and cassava (yellow color, soft texture, sour taste, alcoholic aroma, attractive appearance).

Abstract

Salt is a complementary herb to make different types of cuisine to be delicious. Almost all types of food can not be separated from salt. Salt can be produced in a modern and traditional way in salt fields that lie on the lips of the beach. Gravy salt in Bali is indeed its existence began to decrease, because some areas are more developed as a tourist area. Growers of salt kusamba to this day still survive in developing the process of making salt bali. Descriptive research conducted on salt farmers in Kusamba beach, Klungkung regency. Description is done based on data obtained from interviews of salt farmers in Kusamba Beach. The decrease of salt production at Kusamba beach of Klungkung Regency is caused by several factors such as long process of salt making and tradedional ways, community need for iodized salt, profession from salt farmer and natural condition factor. The decline and the overturn of the profession of salt farmers is one of the problems that must be sought immediately solution because the loss of Balinese salt-making culture at Kusamba Beach certainly reduces the wealth of local culture owned by the island of Bali.

Abstract

The main purpose of this research was to find out the presence of the influence of project based learning model against the interest learn and learning results mathematics on students grade VIII Smp Dharma Wiweka Denpasar in the academic year of 2017/2018. The type of research that was used was quasi eksperiment and the design of the research used the non equivalen posttest only control grup design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII of Dharma Wiweka Denpasar junior high school by 9 classes involving 2 class samples taken by using simple random sampling technique. The nstrument of the research that was used to gather the data was questionnaire of interest learn and learning results mathematics. the next data was analyzed using the MANOVA test with SPSS 23.0 for Windows test with score of Sig. 0,000 < 0,05. The results of the analysis showed that : (1) there were differences in linterest learn between the students that followed the learning model of Project Based Learning with students that followed the conventional learning model of grade VIII at SMP Dharma Wiweka Denpasar. It could be seen from the result of the MANOVA, (2) there were differences in the learning result mathematics between the students that followed the learning model of Project Based Learning with students that followed the conventional learning model of grade VIII at SMP Dharma Wiweka Denpasar. It could be seen from the result of the MANOVA, and (3) there is a simultaneous difference of learning interest and learning results mathematics between the students that followed the learning model of Project Based Learning with students that followed the conventional learning model of grade VIII at SMP Dharma Wiweka Denpasar. It could be seen from the result of the MANOVA.So there are an effect from the learning model of Project Based Learning contain towards the student’s mathematics learning interest and result.

Abstract

Analysing Austronesia Purba language based on tradisional analysis becomes the attention of comparative linguistics, such as reconstruction and grouping as genetically the hereditary languages in south east islands. Austronesia language has the most vast area in the world, from Madagaskar to Easter island. Then it developed in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippins and Madagascar. The observation on local languages in Indonesian needs to be done especially local language that developes in Alor island. Alores language is classified Austronesian language that is analysed from eighteen language exist in Alor island. Besides, Alores language is the biggest local language in Alor island from the classification of spreading area and the distance of speaker area. The trace of Alores language is done through the approach of comparative historic linguistics from the list of 200 Swadesh vocabularies. The etimon determination uses the trace in dictionary of Proto Austronesia (PAN) that is constructed by Wurm and Wilson. Then, the etimon category is grouped in Alores language. The number of nomina etimon is 71, verba etimon is 70, verba adjectiva is 36, verba adverbial is 20, and pronominal is 3. The number of etimon that throw out from Proto Austronesian (PAN) is 43. It is showed that Alores language is hereditary from Proto Austronesian (PAN) that is developed and maintained in Alor island until now.
