Abstract

This study aims to improve Suggestion and Offer capabilities and improve student responses in Suggestion and Offer teaching and learning by applying the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type of cooperative learning model. This class research was conducted in class XI IPS 2 Denpasar Public High School 7 Academic Year 2018/2019 which was located at No. Cambodia Street. 9 Denpasar. The subjects of this class action research were students of class XI IPS 2 in Public High School 7 Denpasar in 2018/2019 Academic Year, amounting to 36 students, consisting of 15 female students and 21 male students and the object of research was the application of the Numbered Heads type of cooperative learning model Together (NHT). In this study a set of data collection methods are used, namely test methods and observation methods. This research will be carried out in several cycles, each of which consists of four stages, namely (1) planning, (2) implementation of actions, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The results showed that (1) The application of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type of cooperative learning model can improve students' Suggestion and Offer comprehension skills. (2) The application of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type of cooperative learning model can improve the responses of students of class XI IPS 2 in Denpasar Public High School 2018/2019 in learning the ability to understand Suggestion and Offer material.

Abstract

The Purpose of this research is to increase the student's achievement through applying of learning model called group investigation in learning physics. Kind of this research is classroom action research. The subject of this research is students of X IIS 2 SMA Negeri I Pupuan at first semester year 2018/2019 which consist of 21 students. This research is done in two cycles of learning with some steps which every cycle follows the learning step of group investigation The data of the student's achievenent is collected through the evaluation activity (quiz), assignment, and the result of the test at every cycle. The data which has collected, futhermore, is analysed in descriptive way. The data of analysed result after modeling of group investigation learning is implemented by the average of student's achievement of firts cycle in the omount of 81,47 by total clasical is in the amount of 86%. The average of student's achicvement at second cycle is in the amount of 81,47 by total clasical is in the amount of 95%. From the result above, it can be concluded that the application of learning model group investigation can increase the achievement of students in learning physics for students Χ IS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Pupuan al first semester of year 2018/2019.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether the focus group discussion method can improve the ability of PKN, Sociology, Economics and Natural Sciences teachers in Kerambitan 1 High School, Kerambitan District in preparing the Syllabus and Characterized Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). This type of research is a school action research (PTS) which consists of 2 (two) cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: action planning, action implementation, observation and data collection, and reflection. The subjects of the study were PKN, Sociology, Economics and Natural Sciences teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Kerambitan, totaling 16 people consisting of 7 IPS group teachers and 9 science teachers. Data about the ability of MIPA teachers to compile syllabi and lesson plans was collected by the document study method. Then the data were analyzed descriptively. The results obtained from this study stated that: 1) the initial acquisition value of the syllabus was 62.56 with less categories at the beginning of Cycle I, increasing to 64.13 with enough categories at the end of Cycle I and being 71.63 with enough categories at the end of the Cycle II. 2) The initial ability to compile the RPP obtained a value of 61.81 with a less category, to 70.00 with enough categories at the end of Cycle 1 and to 73.00 with enough categories at the end of cycle II. The conclusion obtained from this study is that the focus group discussion method can improve the ability of MIPA teachers in Kerambitan 1 High School in preparing the Character Syllabus and Learning Implementation Plan (RPP).

Abstract

Classroom Research activities aims to improve their scores in Physics using educational model Uncooperative Studnts Team Achievement Division (STAD). This research data collected by a gifl test their scores. Analyzing the data analysis methods used by descriptive. Data resulted from prevalency or consists of initial data, data and data cycle I cycle II. From preliminary data, average new class reached 71 and thoroughness learning new reached 28 percent. This Data far below expectations considering KKM asian Physics lessons in this school is 75. At cycle I have already taken place the increase the price class reached 74 and percentage thoroughness learning reached 81 percent In the cycle II average class has reached 79 and the percentage thoroughness learning has reached 88 percent. Abstract

The purpose of conducting this class action research is to improve the learning achievement of students of class IX-4 in semester I of the 2018/2019 academic year at SMP Negeri 6 Denpasar. This research was conducted on 41 research subjects. The way to do this is to add old conventional learning styles into new learning methods that are discovery using the use of the question have strategy (questions raised by students themselves). The study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle carried out with the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. To collect data on the results of research used learning achievement tests and to analyze the data used descriptive analysis. Judging from the results of evaluations that have been carried out an increase from the initial data with an average of 76.12 with mastery learning 36.59%, in the first cycle the average increased to 79.51 with mastery learning 75.61% and in the second cycle increased again to 83.54 with 100% mastery learning. Thus it can be concluded that the use of the question have strategy (questions raised by students themselves) can improve learning achievement in English.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to increase student commitment in mathematics learning. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 6 Denpasar in class VIII-4 semester I of 2017/2018 school year. This research is a classroom action research that aims to find out whether group counseling guidance can increase student commitment in following mathematics subjects. In this study, data such as student commitments and student mathematics learning outcomes data were collected by the method of observation and test methods. Data collected will then be analyzed using descriptive analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that group counseling guidance can increase students' commitment to take mathematics. This is evident from the results obtained in the first cycle increased 27% from the initial data and the average value of the commitment of the group of 64.77 with good criteria. In cycle II there was an increase in student commitment by 32% from the first cycle and the average value of group commitment by 85.41 with very good criteria. Based on the analysis of mathematics learning achievement test, at the end of the second cycle all students get a test score on learning outcomes above the KKM set by the school.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the extent of customer satisfaction with the quality of customer service. This research method uses Expost Facto, research carried out after the event occurred. This research was carried out at Swalayan Ayu Nadi, which addressed at Jalan Tukad Batanghari, Dauh Puri Klod, West Denpasar. This study will involve 100 respondents, namely consumers who carry out questionnaires in the supermarket Ayu Nadi Panjer. Retail business competition is growing rapidly. Business owners must think of the right marketing strategy to attract customers. Retail business owner Ayu Nadi has taken care of the cleanliness of the area outside and inside the supermarket. Disadvantages that need to be corrected are the attributes contained in Quadrant A. Quadrant A is an attribute that needs to be considered by the company to keep its customers loyal to shop at their company. Placement of product positions and other infrastructure must be a particular concern for retail business owners given the growing number of retail companies. Improvement that needs to be done is the problem of inadequate landfill conditions. Retail business owners must pay attention to the problem of the position of the placement of bins, considering that retail business owners provide land for rest areas. This improvement must be done continuously in order to improve services to make consumers loyal to the products and services provided by business owners.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the style of language contained in the novel Anak Rantau by A. Fuadi and the use of language style in the novel Anak Rantau by A. Fuadi in analyzing the results of studying literature in school. This type of research is a qualitative study that describes a phenomenon, object or social setting contained in a narrative writing, in analyzing literary works with words, sentences and discourse. This novel was published in August 2017 by PT. Falcon, with a total of 357 pages. In addition, data was also obtained through high school textbooks, high school curriculum and also books that were purchased or borrowed from the IKIP PGRI Bali library. Information in the form of facts that will be processed or analyzed as an element of drawing conclusions in researching. The method used in this study is an informal method that is presented in the form of words. Analysis using language styles that cover lexical or diction choices. The lexical choice is in the use of regional languages, foreign languages, slang Indonesian, and figurative languages. Novel Anak Rantau by A. Fuadi and Novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruh both study language style. Novel Anak Rantau by A. Fuadi, the language style or form that is widely used is alliteration form, which is form of consonant repetition in a word or several words. In analyzing the novel students are required to understand the story in the novel and aspects of language style that are the main focus in this research. Analyzing the contents and linguistics of a literary work like a novel can add insight to students and to assess a literary work.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the relationship between parents' level of education, learning motivation, and problem solving abilities towards mathematics learning outcomes. The type of research used is qualitative (descriptive). Subjects used by students of class XI Natural Sciences in the city of Denpasar. The study was conducted at the State High School and private class XI Science Year 2018/2019 in Denpasar City. Implementation This research began in February until August 2019. Data analysis used multiple regression analysis, Pearson Product Moment Correlation (PPM), and the coefficient values ​​were received. Based on the results of research and data analysis it can be concluded in this study are: (1) There is a relationship between the level of parental education on mathematics learning outcomes. (2) There is a relationship between students' learning motivation and learning outcomes. (3) There is a relationship between problem-solving abilities and mathematics learning outcomes (4) There is a simultaneous relationship between parents' level of education, learning motivation, and problem-solving abilities towards mathematics learning outcomes of XI high school students in Denpasar in the 2018/2019 Academic Year. Problem solving is influenced by the level of parental education and learning motivation which ultimately increases the learning outcomes of students' mathematics.
