Abstract

Digital society is a reality of life in the 21st century where humans in various sectors of their lives are linked to digital technology. The era of digitalization refers to a description of the situation of changes in the lifestyle and behavior of individuals and organizations today. This is evidenced by the increase in internet users in Indonesia. During the Covid 19 pandemic, the use of the internet was used for online learning systems in elementary schools, middle schools, high schools and universities. Internet users are increasing rapidly. 2017 has reached 143.26 million people or equivalent to 54.68 percent of the total population of Indonesia. This number shows an increase of 10.56 million people from the survey results in 2016. 143.7 million people today and 202.6 million in 2021. The digital transaction value of IDR 203 t in 2019 Rp256t, 2020. IDR 403t in 2021 and IDR 530 t in 2022 (projection). The implications of using the internet and other social media in the learning process, shopping, and so on require rearrangement of the business service system; public services are increasingly facilitated on the one hand, and on the other hand, institutional arrangements and a new work culture need to be refined so that positive excesses can be increased and negative excesses can be reduced. The negative excesses of the transformation process resulted in cyberporn and cybercrime. The transformation process toward digital requires structuring talent and culture. The changes in the mindset and culture of the bureaucracy provide evidence of the increasing need for an agile paradigm in reforming the bureaucracy. However, it is realized that the challenges of implementing an agile paradigm are not easy. The bureaucracy is required to be able to create public services that are not one-size-fits-all but rather personalized. The way the public bureaucracy has been working has proven to be unable to produce innovative policies.

Abstract

The Algerian legislator sought to establish a legal framework for emerging enterprises whose managers aim to create and market new technologies with the intention of promoting the economic development and encouraging investment and innovation in the field of information and communication technology. For this, he first started by embodying a committee specialized in granting the label of an emerging enterprise or Startup, with the introduction of provisions that simplify the requirements and conditions for establishing a simple Joint-Stock Company with the label of a Startup. For the first time ever, the legislator added a number of amendments to the Labor Law and the Basic Law of Public Function in order to give the employee the possibility to invest in the private sector and establish his own enterprise. In addition, regarding the university student, the legislator gave him a chance to prepare a new form of graduation dissertation project about the creation of startup. In this case, this student can therefore benefit from financial support and funding. This would certainly make the university student a creator of new job positions, which will surely help to reduce the unemployment rate. The present study aims to carry out an analytical interpretation of the different recent legal texts in order to frame them within the Algerian law.

Abstract

The development and operation of Technical Landfill Centers (TLC) for urban solid waste lead to significant landscape alterations and have a negative impact on its overall image. However, the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) conducted for these TLCs in Algeria do not currently consider the impact of this activity on the landscape as a determining factor for validating the implementation of the landfill site. It is limited, instead, to some mitigation measures. This work addresses the importance of taking into account the impact of TLCs on the visible landscape through EIAs. In this context, the planned landscape integration measures within the scope of the EIA conducted by the Ministry of Environment for the urban solid waste landfill site of Hamici, situated 29 km from the capital Algiers, were examined. In addition, an evaluation the TLC’s impact on the visible landscape after its construction and operation was implemented using the Hydro-Québec method. The results show a high visual impact of the TLC on the landscape unit receiving the landfill cells, a moderate impact on the unit receiving the TLC buildings, and a minor impact on the unit hosting the human settlement, which has the largest number of potential observers in the area. In the light of these findings, it is imperative to integrate landscape evaluation as an operational phase through EIAs before making decisions regarding the siting of landfill sites. This is essential for the purpose of preserving the image of the environment conveyed by the visible landscape.

Abstract

There is a flood of modern machines in the world, whose form has been taken by AI, it is entering the life of every person, whether it is your TV or fridge, it is visible in every field, from automobile to mobiles phone. Everyone has become accustomed to AI. The special thing is that in this era of modernity, the help of AI is being taken to increase the yield of agriculture. Farmers are able to spray their crops through drones. So in the same world, AI is also being used in large quantities in the fields of war like drone missile, guided missile, satellite missile etc. This AI is moving towards the new future of the world by which either peace will be established in the future or a devastating war will be fought. Although AI is likely to be operated by humans only because if this does not happen then the future of the world will be in the hands of AI. But given the various AI stages, this can only be imagined The Russia-Ukraine war is now at a more disastrous stage, in such a situation, what role AI can play in the search for peace remains to be seen. Due to differences with you and hunger for expansion, today the world is once again at a disastrous stage, among them China - Taiwan, Isreal-Iran etc. countries are standing on the front-line regarding the war against each other. Which cannot be seen normally. The related research paper attracts more attention to this and also questions the utility of AI. Although it will prove useful in some areas, can Ai be used for peace instead of war? it remains to be known

Abstract

This study attempts to provide a strengthened understanding of how to mitigate perceived product risk by utilizing the effect of consumers’ trust transfer. Grounding on the theory of perceived risk, trust transfer framework, and social commerce theory, we propose an integrated model of trust-risk perspective on cross-border social commerce use. We tested the proposed model by conducting an online survey in Indonesia. In this work, we used a PLS-SEM analysis, a mediation and a suppression test, and a Multi-Group analysis. The results demonstrated that consumers’ trust can be transferred from the source of trust (platform and friend) to the target of trust (brand), which subsequently reduce perceived product as well as increase purchase intention. More interestingly, the results of the suppression effect testing show that friend trust was able to play a role as a suppressor factor in the relationship between brand trust and perceived product risk. The finding of the present study offers important implications for theory and literature by integrating trust transfer and perceived risk theory and taking into account perceived product risk as an important factor that potentially deters the effect of trust transfer on consumers’ intention to purchase. From a practical implication, we suggest that the best away to gain consumers’ trust in the global market is by conducting an intensive approach to prospective consumers through social media and promoting in popular marketplaces simultaneously.

Abstract

Photography can be used as a means to convey a narrative or a message behind the presented visuals. In the context of political communication, narrative has the power to influence and win opinions. In regard to this, one particular political narrative at which it is interesting to take a closer look among the political moments in Indonesia is the victory declaration in the 2019 Presidential Election contest. Victory declaration is a political phenomenon that occurred in the 2014 and 2019 Presidential Elections. In both occasions this event led to riots. Based on the description above, the research questions are: (1) How is visual photography produced as a medium to convey narratives within political message? and (2) How does the public as viewers or recipients of political messages perceive political messages in the visual form? This study aimed to identify the meaning of political narratives and the interrelationships of photography in the political context in Indonesia. The method employed in this study was Paul Ricœur’s Hermeneutics, with reference to semantic understanding, reflective understanding and existential understanding. An interpretive paradigm with data sources in the form of declaration photos, interviews with photographers and viewers. Our results showed that political success depends on individual aspects in carrying out their roles. In this context these roles of the individuals refer to political figures, agents and supporters. Interrelationships between roles in such group of individuals mainly revolve around cooperation in realizing common prosperity in political goals. This study concludes that cooperation between politicians, agents and supporters must be guided by political ethics as the main guideline for behaving and acting for the sake of achieving common prosperity. In addition, the use of technology in politics must be guided by ethics as an effort to realize a political system that is just, responsible, trustworthy, and meets the moral standards expected by society. Together, individuals, including politicians, agents and society, broadly play the role of moral agents to achieve politics with integrity, honesty and trustworthiness.
